Recently, a "lock object" feature was introduced which is AMAZING, thank you. However, as others have noted, sometimes a whole page is an image (say a form that you're filling out, working with other little images or handwriting on top of it). We're all doing it, I'm sure you don't need a picture. It's great that I can lock the base layer, but still EVEN IF I've already sent it to the back, if I select it, it visually brings it front and now I can't see the objects on top. This defeats most of the benefit of having it locked. If I've sent it back, leave it back, because I can't see what I'm doing now.....

普段、参考書に色々書き込みをしてマスキングテープでその文字を隠しながら勉強しています。
ただ、AIの回答や文献などをコピーして貼り付けするとテキストボックスとして貼り付けされますが、固定ができないので、テキストボックスを固定するような機能が早急にほしいです！！

I use the shape tool a lot to create "boxes" to pin things like text, images and notes to, and I noticed that whenever I handwrite or sketch within these boxes and later erase it, it also erases the "shape box" as well. This makes it so the shape can no longer be moved/ edited which defeats the purpose I'm using them in the first place.

Please add the option that shapes can be locked or at the very least not be erased easily.

Additionally I want to suggest the option to pin multiple shapes together. Right now most things "pin" automatically to the shape when moved into it, as expected. It would be nice if there was an option to also pin other smaller shaped into a bigger shape (e.g a smaller rectangle into a bigger rectangle). So everything withing the bigger rectangle (including other shapes completely inside it) can be moved together. This should only apply to shapes that are entirely surrounded by the bigger shape, to avoid two shapes clipping together if they only "touch" each other.

It would be nice to be able to lock an image onces it is imported so it doesnt get moved around accidently. Look at Canva and see how you can lock fields in there as you keep working on your design. I import pictures and graphics a lot and mark on them. It never fails that my palm or something drags the picture to a new location. Lock would solved that.

Lock images so that when I write on them they do not move around. Also the general ability to lock certain layers and things so when I erase not everything deletes.

I would be thrilled to have the ability to 'lock' images or stickers, so that you can handwrite on them without constantly selecting and moving them on accident. (especially if something can be 'anchored' to the page, so that it can't be lassod)

Basically like an image for an example.If you want to lock it in place that way, you don't accidentally move it when scrolling or doing other things.Or if you want to write on the image you don't mess up and move the image itself

For note taking and annotating on PDF files, its very hard to do so on the whiteboard when the things below are wiggling around when using lasso. This is a critical feature for students.

It would be incredibly helpful if Goodnotes for Windows included a feature to lock images on the page. This would prevent accidental touch interactions, especially when working on top of screenshots to solve problems or annotate content.

You need to group or lock the highlight layer with the image so they move together. Unlike Notability, your app doesn’t auto-link them, so check for a “group” or “lock layers” option to keep highlights aligned when moving the image. https://www.myaarpmedicare.com.co

Feature Request: Locking Pictures, Pen Improvements & More

1. Locking Pictures in Place
It would be very helpful to have the option to lock images once placed. Often, when writing around pictures, my palm touch accidentally moves them, which disrupts my notes. A lock feature would solve this issue.

2. Pen & Shape Recognition Improvements
Currently, when I draw curves and hold them, the app rigidly converts them into straight or geometric shapes, losing the natural curve. It would be great if the shape recognition feature preserved hand-drawn curves when intended.

Recently, the app has been glitchy on my iPad. When zooming into a file, I sometimes get stuck in the zoom mode and the only way out is to close the app or restart the device. This doesn’t happen on other apps, so it may be specific to Goodnotes.

It would be invaluable if you add a feature to lock images/text boxes/stickers in place, because anything placed above cannot be adjusted with the lasso tool and then what is normally an incredibly helpful tool becomes useless.
