Favorites
When favoriting a slide and then going to the document favorites tab, you should be able to scroll through all the favorites and not the whole document.

Performance and customizability
Hey goodnotes,
I'm using your program on windows and there are some performance issues especially when you import larger pdfs.
Especially if you write something on it the performance is suboptimal.
I also noticed that the written text seems kind of blurry when you zoom out that could also be improved.
Also some more customizability in the home screen, like sorting your folders in the order you want, would be great.
If you do a few fixes making your program more usable for all platforms you will probably dominate the market in a few years no matter if it’s an apple, windows or other device.I hope to see some improvements soon :)

No title (using screen space) when just one book is open
Could you please bring back the UI that would not show the title of the book when there is just one book open? I usually have only one open, and the new UI that always shows the title takes up a lot of screen space.

Select multiple pages for adding to outlines
It would be great if I could select multiple pages and add to one outline, rather than having to copy and paste the outline title into each page.

Shortcuts for Surligneur (Underliner)
When you underline some text, you have to switch quickly of colour: it will bee great to have the possibility to use a command/tab shortcut to pass from one favorite colour to another...
Best regards

Edit Flashcards while studying
It would be great if there was the option to edit a flashcard while in practice/smart learn mode. Sometimes you spot errors while studying and when you do, at the moment you have to leave study mode and swipe through all your flashcards to fix it.

Please Improve GN Typing
IDEAS:
- Draw your text box
- have the ability for images/stickies to wrap around the text
- add the ability to select written notes into a custom font
- create your handwriting font
- outline like google docs
- more bulleted/numbered note options
- checkboxes
- ability to set different texting fonts/size defaults
- better ChatGBT compatibility like Notion2 votes -
Add pages all around the paper
It would be really great if you could add pages to the right, left, top and bottom. At the moment you can only add pages either top and bottom or right and left.

[Outline] Shortcuts for creation
Different suggestion from the much needed sub-outlines (see the 600+ voted on suggestion by Daniel Wyatt “Sub-Outlines in Outline”) which would bring in a collapsible feature in Outline.
This is about being able to assign, to different elements of the outline, headings which would be integrated into the Outline system. Right now the document may have different internal headings, but if I add these to the GoodNotes Outline, they are difficult to keep in their actual order.
The suggestion is as follows :
Include the most common and convenient method to add headings using the # (as is possible in Notion and in many coding markups).
Where adding in front of the text :
1 # (#)encodes and presents the text as heading 1
2 # (##)
encodes and presents the text as heading 2
3 # (###)
encodes and presents the text as heading 3
And so forth
A way to get default headings in the Outline basically.

Page cutting to content
It would be great if there was a feature so that you could cut a page to the content. This would allow you to cut out unnecessary lines at the end of a page and improve the layout of the notebook.

Creating Notebooks with Pages
I’d like the option to, when creating a notebook, be able to have it generate a certain (customizable) number of pages ahead of time so I don’t have to add them one at a time later

Selected highlighted text with (a) comment(s) into it’s own page!
When I download .pdf files such as study guides for my classes, I love to highlight each question and add a comment to it which allows me to use active recall and organize the answers directly to the comments, this is awesome!
What would compliment this is allowing whatever is highlighted with an embedded comment, to also have an option to view both the highlighted part and it’s comments in it’s own page! For example, I would love to share my comments that I have made for the questions on my study guide, and have what I’ve typed already attached to that question, in it’s own page rather than me manually putting it together. This would help for me to share and compare easily with my cohort my notes rather than screen shooting each comment bubble.
