  3. We want to create each notebook to have its own font, font size, font colour, Pen, Pen size and pen colour as well as our own colour palette so that every time we go into each of our notebooks they will have their own formatting setup. Thus please create the option to save different colour palettes etc.

  4. I think it would be a great addition to include an option for automatic handwriting refinement, similar to the feature in Apple Notes. You can see how it works in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ciw74AVIUpY

  5. This feature was previously there but recently been taken away. It is very cumbersome to custom the type, size and colour of the font every time when i try to write. So this feature called “save as default” option should be there for typing font, size and colour.

  6. In previous versions of GoodNotes, when creating a shape (e.g. rectangle, circle, etc.), there was an option to choose whether the shape should be filled or not. This was extremely useful, because sometimes I needed just the outline of a shape, and other times I used the fill color without an outline.

With the new update, this option is gone. Shapes are always filled, and it’s no longer possible to have only an outline or only a filled shape without a border. This limits flexibility and makes it much harder to use shapes in different contexts.

    It would be great…

  7. The new feature “White board” was launched, but the default language won’t applied.
My native language is Japanese, and I set it as a default language.
However, the default language for “White board” is not Japanese but English, and I need to change the language everytime. I hope this bag will be corrected.

  8. I want to be able to set the default text size, font, etc., for when I convert my handwriting to text. Some pages it spits it out huge, sometimes not. Consistency would be a game changer, and a space saver.

  9. Everyone wants to mirror images, but what would be awesome is if you had any sketch and to be able to mirror its entirety to give symmetrical conduct, it saves not only time and energy but is also efficient and widely used in sketches.
    So just a thought…
    Thanks, David Eliav

  10. When exporting a large selected area as a PDF, handwriting often becomes pixelated or blurry.

It would be helpful if users could draw an “8” shape with the selection tool to divide the selected area into multiple regions. The intersection of the “8” could act as a separator, allowing Goodnotes to automatically export the content as multiple PDF pages (two or more, depending on the gesture).

This feature could work on both Whiteboard and Notebook pages, making it easier to export large handwritten notes while keeping the text quality high.

  12. I don't know the situation on iOS, but on Android, GoodNotes isn't available in my Country. I live in Uruguay, a Latin American country with advanced technology. It's a real shame that the app isn't available in much of this region. I'd really like to be able to use it.

  14. Now that graphs are an option, I would like to see this being improved and features being added. I use GoodNotes for maths a lot and I would want to add two graphs in one graph view, set an interval to a graph, recolor the graphs, display intersections with other graphs or the x-axis, support for calculus and equation solving algorithms to find parameters for a polynomial, for instance. That would be beneficial.

  15. Hi!
I’m a student still using GoodNotes 5 and I really love it. ❤️
Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to upgrade to GoodNotes 6, so I kindly ask if you could add a few small updates to version 5 — like more pen settings or simple improvements. Nothing big, just small things to help students like me.
Thank you so much for your amazing app! 🙏✨

  16. I would love to see a hint option added to the study cards. I believe it would add to the effectiveness of the memorizing process for many of us. Sometimes I just need a word or two to get me pointed in the right direction.

  17. Goodnote 7 feels like Badnotes.
To improve it, I suggest restoring the following features:

    • The smooth performance of Goodnotes 5 (especially the instant PDF rendering)

    • The toolbar layout from Goodnotes 5

    • Keeping the “crumple-to-erase” feature from Goodnotes 6

    • Keeping the folder organization feature from Goodnotes 6

I propose releasing “Goodnotes 11,” combining the best features of Goodnotes 5 and 6.

  18. When I use the text box, the line height keeps changing. I have to and adjust the line height for each sentence, despite having a set default. I also hate how it goes to Lasso all the time, I never use Lasso. I miss Goodnotes 6 as it was easier to use for someone who struggles with technology.

  19. There should be an option to draw shapes with rounded corners added to the new stroke settings similar to the ability to draw dashed and dotted lines and arrows heads. This idea was posted 2 other times back in 2020 but has not been addressed or updated.

  20. This update is seriously frustrating.
Why does the tool automatically switch to the lasso tool after using a text box?
The previous version was much smoother and easier to use — now it just feels unnecessarily inconvenient and irritating.
It honestly looks like this change was made without any real consideration for users.

And if you’re not even reading App Store reviews but just telling people to “send feedback,”
it really makes us wonder if you actually care about what users are saying.
