  1. Feedback on Beta flashcard feature

    I really love the new beta flashcards. I like that now studying takes up the whole page and that the cards seem to have more space to write on. However, I think it would be good if we didn’t have to tap to make the flashcard bigger in order to hardwrite, just like you don’t have to to type. It would be more efficient for the one making the flashcards. Also, there’s no option to easily scroll through the flashcards. In notebooks you can press the button with the squares and see all the pages quickly. I can’t use the…

  2. Can I get a window beta?

    I didn't find another way to send a message to your guys, so I just write in here.

    I am an old user of goodnotes in Mac/ios/ipados, but recently I have to move my desktop platform to windows, I just signed up to beta waitlist, but I really need to use it right now

    Is it a way to give me a priority to use the window beta version? thank you

  3. For dark paper notebooks, make default text color white

    For dark paper notebooks, it would be nice if when you press to type, the text is automatically white instead of black, that way you don't have to go up and change it manually every time. Or even just when you change text to white, the next time you make a new text box, it is automatically the last color you used, so; white.

  6. GoodNotes Verbesserungen/Improvements

    Hallo Goodnotes,

    Könnten Sie die App erweitern mit einem Scanner welcher Bilder und handgeschriebene engescannte PDF nach Texte scannt, sodass sie beim Durchsuchen der Aufschriebe/Notizen gefunden werden. Hierfür wäre ein gezieltes Durchsuchen von einem ausgewählten Ordner am besten.

    Außerdem können Sie die noch eine Erweiterung mit einem Zirkel machen, da wenn man mit den bisherigen Kreisen arbeiten möchte für den Zuschauer nicht ganz klar ist wie groß der Radius und wo die Einstichstelle bzw. welche Drehrichtung verwendet wird.

  8. Make Good Notes for Windows

    Hello, is it Possible to make a version of goodnote for Windows Touch Devices like the Microsoft Surface with the Support of Pens like the Surface Pen? it would be nice if i can use your software without buying a expensive apple ipad.

  9. Stickers need smaller boundaries

    If you notice, the sticker expansion and edit ‘square’ is a lot bigger than the sticker itself. It does allow you to write right below the sticker, but if you try to ‘lasso’ the text, it ends up selecting the sticker too.

  10. Search in images and scanned pdfs

    This app would be perfect if searching can work in images and scanned PDFs. It can be easily done in iOS system or the original File app (Live Text). So I believe it is totally possible.

  11. iCloud syncing on the apple photos model

    Working on my ipad and taking all of my notes on it, these tend to take up lots of storage, which i don’t mind on my ipad and i want to be able to access every notes even without internet on it.
    However, on my iphone, goodnotes syncs every notes and downloads them locally on my iphone which is problematic because it can quickly take up a lot of storage on the device when you only consult a few documents on your iPhone.

    It would be great if GoodNotes had a syncing option just like the one that iCloud Photos…

  12. Shortcut/Alias

    Having the same file in multiple folders without having to duplicate the file to make 2 separate files. So edits on the document in one folder affect edits in the other folder.

    I use GN to store ebooks. Sometimes I need to copy / paste from a PDF stored.
    Im able to use the FIND to find the text, but I can't select lines or paragraphs, copy and past it (i.e.) on MSWord or Mails....

  14. UX - customizabel tools layout

    Ability to change the layout. Being able to move the tools, preferably to the left as i can use my left hand to select the tool/color i want.

    there should be custom recording marks besides the relevant notes so that recording can be easily find out, same as we can add ‘add comments’ mark on page

    please make Goodnotes available for Android Tablets, it would be the best app for note-taking, especially with so many functions that benefits uni students. Nothing has to change, it can be the same as IOS just please make it happen 😭

  17. Being able to zoom out further out of a document

    Currently, especially in portrait mode, you can barely zoom out of a document like you can on Notability, which is definitely a UX design oversight. At least have an option for this I'd say.

    This would especially be useful for math, where you often move back and forth upwards and downwards to reference previous content, but unfortunately with Goodnotes, you are unable to see large amounts of pages at the same time, or be able to scroll up and down many pages quickly due to lacking this feature.

  18. Single document mode / Document Lock-in

    A feature that enables creation of single-document documents. That means documents that do not allow to switch to other documents in goodnotes.

    This feature would enable to use goodnotes for writing exams. Currently this is not possible, since student can easily browse their other goodnotes for cheating.

    While it is possible to lock in students in the goodnotes app using Classroom, it is not possible to lock them in a specific document, e.g. the exam.

  19. More oriented to Project Management

    in Business Basics of Project Management needs to be used. This should be implemented like
    1. embedding files formates like excel, video, tone, and some others
    2. timestambs for each note (Date and Time) choosable
    3. usage off Apples Apps Reminder and Calendar
    4. Fileviewer for different formats
    5. really ToDo list with all necessary functionality (not as a PDF Template)
    6. delegation with @ sign
    7. Possiblity to structur a text like Numbering, intent text, etc
    8. Embedding Mindmap tools
    etc

  20. Line Smoothing For Pen Tool

    Add an option for the pen tool that would smooth out handwriting (similar to a feature in procreate.) I can get really picky about my handwriting and will spend 5x as long writing a sentence trying to get the jitters and bumps out of the hand writing.
