Presentation Mode: Laser trails “remove all/erase laser trails” options
On the right side of the toolbar, there are three options: automatic disappearance of the laser trails, and the manual remove all/erase laser trails option.
Explanation (optional to read): I’ve been using laser trails almost every time when I review because I can write on top of my written notes and annotated handouts to help me remember, but what’s frustrating about it is that it disappears so fast when I try to write multiple words of what I have just reviewed seconds before. I can’t use the regular pen and write above these papers of mine since they are annotated/written so my notes will be erased alongside the words I've just written from my review.

Ending colors in text box
It would be cool if you could also edit the colors in the text box

Fill the square when drawing & holding down a square with the highlight tool
When I draw a square with the highlighting tool and hold down on it to let it lock and create perfectly straight lines, i‘d like to see the option to turn on „fill the square“ as with the geometric tool or the pencil :)

Larger pen sizes
Make the pen sizes a lot larger so we can fill something in faster or draw larger text epically for note book covers, titles, etc.

Option to import or sending material from other app into goodnote notebook that fit the default page size of that note book.
Example;
I need to get a set of A1 landscape drawing for reference in my A3 landscape notebook. In this example, i do not need to have the original size of pdf. it may also help reducing the file size?!?1 vote -

Need a way or easy way to deal with page size (inside the same notebook)
There are a few Sanrio;
1. most of the time we may want to have consistent page size, this could be the size that we start the note book with. It could be nice if there is a option to “fit” any template to that size.
2. we may want to have a specific sizes (multiple paper sizes) on notebook, it will be nice if we could have some control. For example assume that the typical size of notebook is A4 portrait, we may want to have a few sheet as A3 landscape.
* one of the benefit is that the fonts used would be more controllable.There are a few Sanrio;

Keep the text configuration
Every time you enter a Text into a text field and leave this particular text field, and create a new one at a different place. The previous configurations about the text field are set back to standard, and don’t stay the way you set it.
This is really inconvenient, because if you want to create a note with various text fields which are all in the same style, you have to configure the text settings again and again for every text field

More than three colors in toolbar
please add a feature, where you can choose more than three colors so that you can switch easily between them

Calendar Integration Support
There's nothing more satisfying than having calendar templates that actually integrate with most common calendar formats (at least google calendar or Apple iCloud Calendar).
Some awesome functionality:I would like to DRAW the length of an event and have that correspond to the assigned duration of the event, have Apple Calendar display my written notes on the calendar (similarly to how Apple Notes does it), have some advanced notational features that translate into editing notes or stuff in the calendar.Or at least have a weekly or monthly planner template that also allows some "add to calendar" functionality or "get a reminder" functionality, or any such integration that would make the written planner slightly more alive.

Options to remove gap between pages while new page load automatically
I do a lot of practice problems and it is a little annoying to force scroll up to add a new page while other apps automatically add up a new page as I'm approaching the end of my current page.
So I would love if there was an option to eliminate the gap between pages so that it looks like an infinite and unbroken canvas while pages are being added automatically as soon as the app senses that I'm approaching the end of my current page.10 votes -
Vertical and horizontal flipping using lasso tool
There are a lot of times where a sketch,graph,shape is symmetrical around a point and copying one side of the graph for example won’t do the job. It would be really easy and precise if the lasso tool had vertical and horizontal flipping.

Resize highlighter line length
Allow for the length of the highlighter shape to be resized in length only. If I were to create a highlight line that is a bit too long or short, I do not want to also resize the height of the shape.
This would be better than having to redraw the line.

Pomodoro Option
a pomodoro timer ( be it stopwatch or custom timer with breaks ) within the app.

Pen Tool Weight Consistency - Editing/Resizing/Zooming
a. No ability to edit pen thickness AFTER having written. I would like to be able to select various bits of writing and make them all the same thickness.
b. Resizing handwritten text changes thickness (weight) of what's been written.
Editing these resized notes exacerbates this problem; have to experiment to find a suitable pen weight so that new text matches weight of existing text.c. Zooming in does not scale pen weight - so zooming in and writing additional text means having to experiment with an appropriate pen weight in order for new writing to match existing writing.

free rotation of the paper
use 2 fingers to zoom in AND free rotate the paper to write in an angle without the need of rotating the ipad itself

Digit text on the whole page (like word)
It would be nice to have the ability to digit text on the whole page so that it gets aligned automatically to the template rows (I always use the squared template), kinda like in word. I’d rather use only GoodNotes to take notes instead of writing the whole thing on word and then importing it in GoodNotes because I would have a lot more flexibility with the pen and all the other GoodNotes functions. However, with the text tool as it is now, you can only write in the text box which you can move and align to the margins of the page, but it will never be aligned to the rows unless you create a new text box for each row.

toggle to hide everything except the tool palette.
The extra menu bars and tab names just take up much needed screen real estate specially on the budget ipads with not so huge screens. While reading a book, the most i need is just my tool palette so i can highlight occasionally. Other things are just distracting and rarely needed!
