File management iPadOS-like
The idea is to update the file manager in order to make it’s style more uniform within iPadOS and it would be beautiful if we can save directly files in a file-folder that che be found in File app

More robust and cleaner smart shapes
Hello guys, I've been using both notability and goodnotes for over almost 2 years now and i still cant crown one over another, but goodnotes is wayt closer to being the king over notability due to the versatility of the app, custom paper, tools, etc, but theres a tool that i use everysingle day, and that it is soooo much better on notability than on goodnotes, and thats the hold to snap / auto shape tool
I know we already have the snap to other shapes feature, but that is basically useless unlessyoure using lines..
I would like for you to implement some kind of powerfull shape edition after snaping it,
- like creating 3 or 5 points across a curve so i can edit the radius, shape, lenght of the curve
- the ability to change the radius and to snap the center of a circle into someting..
- the ability to make all shapes and lines “talk” with each other in the same page
- basically it would all come to the points in wich a shape/line is divided, so i can play with those points between circles and curves and arrows and so on, check how the pink lines are always trying to make the circle centered with something or with the top of the circle straight with another point. And when i move a point of the circle, it only grows from that point and not from the center, wich is also pretty usefull as the center is the least used reference.. i can replicate in video if you want, but ill show you a few examples in notability. I know the expample is just with a circle, but every shap can do the exact same thing, and i think it is the most usefull thing from notability, way above the audio notes and soHello guys, I've been using both notability and goodnotes for over almost 2 years now and i still cant crown one over another, but goodnotes is wayt closer to being the king over notability due to the versatility of the app, custom paper, tools, etc, but theres a tool that i use everysingle day, and that it is soooo much better on notability than on goodnotes, and thats the hold to snap / auto shape tool

Wavy line
Drawing a straight line works really well. It would be great if a beautiful wavy line could also be drawn neatly in a similar way. Teachers use this a lot to underline small errors for example.

Mac iOS glitch fixed
The glitch on MacBook Pro, iMac, or Mac iOS, in general, is horrible. Taking notes by typing in the textbox on a PDF lecture on a Macbook or iMac is super lagging and annoying. I prefer typing over writing since it's quicker. However, it seems like I wasted more time adjusting, double-clicking the textbox. To make it worse, sometimes all the text disappeared after typing in the box, which is extremely annoying. This does not happen with my iPad though.

Moving to a page you've seen before
I am a student who uses GoodNotes to study.
I'm mailing to suggest features that would be great when I study in GoodNotes.
It's moving to a page you've seen before, which is similar to the previous channel feature of the tv remote. While studying, there are many cases of moving and looking to refer to pages that are far away, and then returning from the previous ones.
If this function is added, it seems that the efficiency of study can be improved.

Pages in two-dimensional grid form
If you set your page scrolling to lets say horizontal and you scroll to the right you can create a new page there. What if you can create a new page on the right side and below. That way you have columns and rows for pages. You could import a PDF document vertically and add to every page on its right horizontally a new page.

Improved Usability for Mac
Taking notes on my iPad is perfect, it's seamless and very user friendly; however, when taking notes on my Mac it's a lot less user friendly. therefore, I kindly request for a more Mac friendly experience when taking notes

Draggable zoom indent icon
Make an icon next to the existing zoom indentations that allows the indentation line to move
I always have to click left indent too many times to get to where I want to write

Shapes- they are not at all user-friendly
Should be able to customize way more-
• unlock aspect ratio on things like rectangles
• choose if you want border
• pre-set shapes instead of being required to draw it
• drag straight, vertical, horizontal line options again, instead of having to draw

Allow tree view
When browsing my documents, it’s sometimes much easier to see a tree view with plus and minus signs for expand and collapse.
This is especially true for a deep structure trees14 votes -
Being able to Attach or Insert a File, Video, etc.
As a high school student and soon to be university student, i take a lot of notes, annotations, etc. sometimes, my teachers give us pdf’s to read or just a document of the information, rubric, etc. it would be so much easier to be able to attach a file to the page, like a picture, that you can click and it automatically opens it. i used onenote a lot in middle school, and that was an function that i loved from onenote. i only use goodnotes now and onenote if it’s really necessary, but i’d stop using onenote all together if they had an attach file function.

Option to delete a synced document or folder on the device
Please add a option to delete documents and folders on your device without deleting them entirely. Similar on Files on MacOS where your files are in the cloud and you can choose to delete them just from your device. This would be especially useful on a low storage device.

[Outline] Add quick access button or gesture for outline side view
So far so good!
I’d like to see a new layout implemented. I’m sure most users use Outlines to organize their notebooks so it’d make perfect sense to have a fast way to access the outline of the notebook without having to press on the four Rectangle button and then click on Outline (when being in thumbnails or favorites).
So my recommendation is to have a button to directly show the notebook outline, since I’m working a lot with lectures slides and I have one notebook for each course. The placement of the button could be near the title on the tab of the document or somewhere on the left side of the screen or the right (not everyone is right handed). Another idea would be a gesture-based outline appearance, when for example dragging from the left of the screen edge or the right. You could also implement a setting for this where users set their own preference about the outline view!
I’m sure most users would find this quite helpful and it will make you stand out of other note taking apps. I know at least twenty students who study with me and use GoodNotes and they all expressed this wish.
I hope you can do it,
I hope to hear from you soon!So far so good!

"Mark as read" option for texts in GoodNotes
It would be very helpful if there was a "mark as read" option in GoodNotes, especially when you have a lot of texts to be read so you can see at a glance which ones you have read and which ones are still to be read. Currently, I am using the "tick emoji" in the document name which is an alternative but being able to actually tick off documents and mark them as read would be so helpful!

Continuous Scrolling for Horizontal Scrolling Direction
Currently, you can scroll smoothly or continuously if your Scrolling Direction is Vertical. However, if your Scrolling Direction is set to Horizontal, you have to flip through each page one at a time.
Allowing for continuous horizontal scrolling would be ideal for my work.
