Functionality improvements
Add more functional adjusting tool, not only from bottom corner but from 4 sides.
Also recommend to improve Shape tool, maybe have straights line by holding stroke for a second, like Notabilty.
Last but not list, when selecting a rectangle, one of the needed options is filling color, not only when drawing a new one.Hopefully this will be read and enhanced

Open multiple files
Recently I was grading PDF exams in Goodnotes. I grade a lot better if I grade everyone's Problem 1, then go back and grade everyone's Problem 2, and so on.
Once I have all 50+ of my students' exams open, the tabbed file system makes it very easy to switch between files. (THANK YOU for allowing me to have 50+ tabs open at once!) But on the first pass I have to open the files one by one. Is there a way to open all files in a folder (in separate tabs)?

Adjust Page Width for Imported Pages
When importing pages from an external PDF it would be great to adjust the page width so that unnecessary zooming can be avoided (and scrolling through a file is made easier). See problem also in the attached picture.

Could a crowdfunding project support the most asked feature?

To be able to move a whole page (cut and paste) to another document/folder
I often take notes that are messy, in the wrong folder/document etc, so as you can move writing, it would be useful to be able to cut and paste a whole page into another folder/document

PDF to Sepia
My main use of GoodNotes is to read academic whitepaper PDFs and annotate them. I'd really like it if I could convert the white backgrounds to a sepia tone to make them easier on the eyes. iOS Night Shift changes too much in my opinion. It'd be awesome if there was a way to naively just change every pixel of one color to another color, say white -> sepia, black -> gray, white -> black, etc.

Shift document view off-center for handwriting
I do understand that it makes sense for the document to pop back into central view when dragging to the side, but when handwriting at the document’s edge, this becomes an annoyance.
How about a new action/feature where the documents still pop back into central view under normal circumstances, but when the user really drags the document far off to the side, the document stays there at the side of the screen. Now the user can handwrite comfortably, with his hand resting on the black part (background) of the screen, and the document on the other side of the screen. And when the user wants it back into the default ‘pop to center view’, just slide/flick the document back towards the center and it’ll be back to the default behavior.
Without this feature, handwriting on a document’s edge will result in a person’s hands needing to be held off the side of the device’s screen, which is not good. With the ability to keep the document on a particular side of the screen, the user’s hand can rest on the other side of the screen for more comfortable handwriting.
In the first photo, is the current state of GoodNotes where the hand goes off the device surface when writing at the document's edge. The second photo shows the ideal GoodNotes where a document can be set into a particular side (not split view) so the handwriting hand can rest on the tablet screen.

Import PDFs making possible to take notes next to it in the same document
In Microsofts OneNote its possible to import a PDF in a way that there is space next to every page of it. I really miss this in GoodNotes as this is a great feature to really work with texts an take a lot of annotations, event though there is no free space in the PDF. This would work great using landscape mode!

I am a Maths teacher from Vietnam. I love technology. About 2 years ago, I came across your Goodnotes application, which was the number one paid application in AppStore and I felt lucky that I bought it. I got excited and engrossed in your app at the very first time I used it. I work with Mathematics problems very frequently. When using Goodnotes, the problems become much easier and more intriguing. I learned a lot from these and thanks to it, my students got many prizes in local competitions. I wrote a “long essay” to you in the reviews section with all my dedication in terms of suggestions for the improvement of your app; however, due to my bad English, I used Google translate so you may not understand what I meant. Recently, due to the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic, we have been teaching online using Goodnotes and Meeting Cloud Zoom. It has been such a great experience. Many teachers have asked me to help with their application of Goodnotes. That is when I got the idea of introducing your app to many other Vietnamese teachers and students.. I am not sure whether you have already had a official distributor in Vietnam; however, I would appreciate it I can be the distributor of your app in Vietnam. I would help you sell your app to more users. I intend to post positive reviews on Youtube. I am a little bit busy recently, but once we come to an agreement on this, I would do it immediately. In order to make the most of Goodnotes, I have been following some Youtube channels, namely Ali Abdaal, Paperless X, etc. Currently, I can use Goodnotes with ease in teaching.

resume the previous handwriting improvement algorithm
the latest version of goodnotes seem to have made a little bit of change on the handwriting improvement algorithm to make the end of the writing thicker, which makes it less comfortable. Also, there is more delay of the writing. Please resume the previous algorithm.

Annotations
Sometimes I'm forced to use PDF Expert when annotating PDFs, because I can get a summary of the annotations. Hope you can add to GoodNotes, then I'll be able to use it all the time.

Sizes
You should add the possibility to view files’ and folders’ sizes in the goodnotes app. Also, you could add pages counter to see the total amount of pages in a certain notebook and which page we’re viewing (page 15/20). Also, you could add the possibility of viewing on the home page the total amount of notebooks in the app.

Imported images turn out to have bag quality
The quality of imported images is really really bad! I can‘t read it sometimes or annotate anything because it has so many pixels.

resize written area in order to be able to write next to it on the empty space
The written area, for example, can be resized (e.g. text field previously over the whole page, afterwards only on the left side). That would make it possible to write or take notes next to the previous text field without having to move the sentence parts individually so that there would be some space to take notes again.

Document hierarchy improvement
Okay so they did hierarchy but its kind of a pain to navigate. If you have many folders and are in one of the deeper folders you must keep pressing the back button until you get to your desired document. There should be a menu button (for instance near the Bookmarks button) that could be accessed to easily get from one document to another.

Horizontal only or Vertical only resizing!
You should be able to resize your selection horizontally only or vertically only. Sometimes I want to make something wider or taller and can’t. I have to just increase it in the 1:1 proportion. Please add this feature! Thank you!
