Laptop 'typing mode'
In the iPad app, you can do either textboxes or you can choose to use the 'typing mode' where the text automatically aligns with the lines on the page. I would love to have this feature for the Windows version of the app!

Flash card “ai” image
When you write a word in flash cards , you have an option for aI generated image or stock photo to add to either side of the card . This would be helpful for language learning and science flash cards

Integration with GitHub
I would like to suggest integrating GitHub accounts with GoodNotes to enable synchronization between a specific repository and a designated GoodNotes directory (or a virtual directory mimicking the repository). This feature would use the GitHub API to periodically push and pull data, allowing for backup creation and facilitating tracking edits and collaboration. Considering its intended use in university settings, if the API costs become a concern, offering this functionality as part of the GitHub Student Developer Pack could be an option. I appreciate your consideration of this suggestion. Thanks.

Provide different fonts in type section of Goodnotes
Apparently goodnotes 6 only provides 1 default font type in the "typing section",
I suggest goodnotes to provide different text fonts in goodnotes, such as "Times New Roman", just like in the textbox feature.
If this feature of providing different text font is also provided in the "typing section", this would be very useful, as some people are only used to a particular type of font.

I'm using the Good Note 6 as an iPad, and I usually take a lot of notes. Please add an Apple Pencil tilt deactivation function in the standard pencil. I want to prevent the writing from getting thicker depending on the tilt because it's uncomfortable to take notes.

Mirror/flip entire page.
Mirror entire page, in the same menu where I can now rotate an entire page by 90 or 180 degrees.
Use case: I want to make notes on a floor plan in an imported PDF file.
But the floor plan is a mirror image of the actual space. So I want to begin by creating a mirror image of the page. In this case, I want a mirror of the image on the PDF page. I can also see reasons to be able to “flip” either the entire page with annotations or just an image in the imported PDF file, or even just a lasso’ed portion of the page.Thanks for considering

[Outline] Permanent toggling "custom outline/PDF outline" for outline filter within notebooks
I have been a Goodnotes user for over 5 years, and it is currently my primary note-taking app for my studies in medical school. I have recently noticed a small redundancy that I believe can make the user experience a lot smoother if a slight improvement is made. When accessing the outlines within a notebook composed of imported PDFs, there are both custom outlines and auto-imported PDF outlines. As is the case with many students, the PDF outlines are often cluttered and sometimes irrelevant, so custom outlines are instead used to divide the various subsections (eg. lectures) within a notebook. Custom outlines can be filtered, so as to show custom outlines only, however, when re-opening the notebook the user must re-filter this (ie. toggle "PDF outlines" off), which is oftentimes redundant. I believe providing a simple function where "PDF outlines" can always be toggled off, so that the user does not have to continuously toggle this every time they open the notebook, would make a substantial improvement to the seamlessness of the Goodnotes user experience.

Import Speaker Notes from Powerpoint (PPTX) files
Please create an option to natively import speaker notes from powerpoint files into either adendums to each slide, separate slides that follow each slide the notes are associated with, or another method like a sticky note on each slide. It shouldn't be a massive hassle to implement, since Powerpoint files can be extracted by command line as zip files, and all the speaker notes are located in /ppt/notesSlides/notesSlide*.xml files, with each slide having its own notesSlide.xml file. The speaker notes are located in plaintext in these files in some basic OpenXML formatting that Microsoft came up with for office. Specifically, the plaintext notes are located between <a:t> and < / a : t > in each XML file. For the enduser, it is much too arduous to manually copy and paste these speaker notes into GoodNotes, but I think GoodNotes could fairly easily implement some way to import these notes from PowerPoint files natively. Importantly, this would allow students to better use the AI in GoodNotes 6 to ask questions about the presentation, assuming that professors put additional information that they read aloud in the speaker notes, as mine do. Character autocorrect
Be able to autocorrect specific handwritten characters.
You could create your own character, for example “z”, “/“, or an integral, and if Goodnotes recognizes your handwriting and “sees” that it’s similar, it gives you the option to replace it.
Your “autocorrect” characters are handwritten.Additionally, being able to lasso “add” a character to this character autocorrect. As we all know, nicely written characters are usually made when you’re not trying.
Possibly allow this feature to be a button so people can turn it on to read that specific page to reduce potential frustration with constant autocorrect suggestions.
