Laser pointer support for note recording
Hello! I love the new option to record notes, it's a game changer!
Would it be possible for the app to remember the laser pointer when recording?
So I could speak and record notes showing what I mean by the laser pointer as I speak before the laser pointer is recorded and displayed when the recording is played?

Put the 2x velocity on the audio records
I love this feature, but the audio does not have the option of put it faster ou export to apps like “recordings”

Better handling of outline and indented paragraphs for typing.
I type or dictate my notes, so they are typed on my mac.
It would be nice to be able to do an outline format for my notes.this is a pain in goodnotes and since I don't just use it as a planner but a notetaking app it is something that is critical.
I've actually started checking out other apps for class and bsns notes.

Intelligent Lasso Tool selection
If you write a text and just want to move one word / sentence, you have to be very careful that your selection doesn’t touch other parts you don’t want to select.
It would be great if GoodNotes could figure out, what you want to select. The Apple Notes App does this.2 votes -
Toggle Menu like in Notion
Toggle Menu like the one in Notion would be a game changer for Goodnotes. It will help me as a medical student to recap and memorize my notes in an organized way, leave Notion and use only one app that has everythig i need.

Edit / create notes in portrait mode on laptop tablets
Currently in Windows 11 if you have a laptop that can work in portrait mode, GoodNotes only allows you to view notes only. It would be nice to be able to edit/create notes in portrait mode instead of only in landscape mode when using a windows tablet in portrait mode.

Selecting of stickers
It would be nice if you use a sticker of a sticky note (for example) and you write on it you can select this sticker with the writing on it without selecting the text underneath the sticker. Just like in real life, you write something on a sticky note, stick it in your notebook and then remove it again without removing what's in your notebook.

Please add the favourite (favorite) icon back to the top of the page!!!!!!! We would like to know whether the page we are viewing has been marked as favourite while reading without the need to check the status of the page all the time

Costume gesture
We can edit what we want to do with the gesture. For example, a two-finger single tap can do something, and two fingers double taps can do something. For myself, I like to undo with two fingers single tap (I always forgot when I use different apps like procreate...)

More pen colours in preselected section
Since the beginning it is only possible to have 3 colours for immediate access while writing. The field where they are would be big enough to host 5 colours, without making the section bigger. It makes the usage way more convenient to be able choosing 2 more colours without having to replace the others in the preselection.

Handwriting stabilisation
It would become much easier to create neat handwriting and notes that are functional and pleasing to look at. A feature in which you can adjust the stabilisation to your preferences and needs (similar to what Procreate offers) would be highly appreciated and helpful, especially to those who struggle with stable handwriting for medical reasons.

Larger range of rapid colours selection for highliters and pens - Customizable tool bar
As my (and other's) studying method requires a lot of colours, I would like to be able to change the highliter or pen colour faster. So, I'm suggesting something like a detachable grid for colour selection or an option which allows me to visualize more than 3 rapid colour choices in the main bar (for instance, hiding through the settings menu the unused tools to make room for the ones that I use more frequently).
In other words, I would like to customize my tool bar and make it more efficient to meet my specific needs. Is this possible?

removing ALL the annotations by ONE CLICK!
I wish I could remove all the annotations in one document by ONE CLICK!
I guess that is too much request...rather, simple feature other apps provide.

When recording, you cannot open other files. If you want to search another file, you must stop recording, which is very inconvenient

voice recording (while taking notes) like a Ink replay feature
I think that is essential for students and professors to have the Voice recording feature (that is recently already available on Goodnotes for iPad) on Goodnotes for Windows. This feature that allows you to replay the ink/drawings you made while taking note and the related audio recording is great and it can be the main point of why windows users should choose Goodnotes instead of other millions of note taking apps already available on the microsoft App Store.

Hello! Thanks for the great app. It would be really cool to add a third scrolling mode: instant slide switching. This is sorely lacking. When I make podcasts, I have to erase in the reverse order, and return the elements as the podcast progresses. Switching (seamless) would be much easier
