Please add a new type of pen whose color will become darker over time. So that the user can easily identify which handwriting was written recently

Closing File Browser w/o open document
When opening the file-browser, one can only get back to the document writing view by opening a new document.
Very inconvenient.

Id should be possible to put a link in a template, that it will be activated wehen i open a new document with that template.

icloud refresh button
I often work on my laptop and ipad at the same time, adding pages from my laptop files and filling them out on my ipad. I frequently have to turn of and on icloud sync in settings on both devices to make it refresh faster.
A button to do this automatically while working on a note would be appreciated

Text Box disappear
There are not more frustrating than take notes of a 1000 pages exam and for no reason, when i go back to re-reading some notes, know that some text or whole pages are disappeared, it think.
If this app was a 8 with this problem become a 2..
I've seen other users wrote about this problem, no answers.
How it happen: for exemple after i wrote 30 pages and the last thing wrote is in 30th pages, if i push back button, disapper text in page 5.. I wrote 25pages after that.. why it go back in page 5?!1 vote -
Feedback on Beta flashcard feature
I really love the new beta flashcards. I like that now studying takes up the whole page and that the cards seem to have more space to write on. However, I think it would be good if we didn’t have to tap to make the flashcard bigger in order to hardwrite, just like you don’t have to to type. It would be more efficient for the one making the flashcards. Also, there’s no option to easily scroll through the flashcards. In notebooks you can press the button with the squares and see all the pages quickly. I can’t use the…

I didn't find another way to send a message to your guys, so I just write in here.
I am an old user of goodnotes in Mac/ios/ipados, but recently I have to move my desktop platform to windows, I just signed up to beta waitlist, but I really need to use it right now
Is it a way to give me a priority to use the window beta version? thank you

Introduce a Zen Mode
I would love to have a toggle to activate something like a "zen mode". If toggled, there should be nothing except for the paper and a floating toolbar with selected tools only. The user has complete control over which tools to use here. For example, I never use stickers, so this would not be in my toolbar. However, I regularly switch between a blue ballpoint, a black ballpoint, a green brush and a red brush pen. These alongside with the eraser and lasso tool would be in my "Zen Floating Toolbar".

Folder organization as list
The folder organization will be better as expandable list structure like on MacOS or MS OneNote.

Save Batch Presets
If your like me, you want things a certain way. In my line of work, I have different pen colors for work, but I also want to use a different batch of colors on my planner. Same thing goes for my text boxes, I use different types of fonts on each document. Different documents that I use daily require their own set of tools and formats. I would like to be able to label my different presets under a folder or tab in the interface. I use this app for both work and pleasure daily.

Audio recording function not working well when I set tool position on the bottom
I prefer setting tool position on the bottom because it reduces moving distance of my hands. (I'm using apple pencil 1 gen.) In this case, UI for recording shows below the icon so that I can't see what's going on, and it shows on top of tool bar.

Subscribt / superscript + mathematical notation
For natural scientists it is necessary to be able to write text characters and numbers superscript / subscript. This could be done via the format selection.
The ability to insert mathematical formulas and shapes would also be helpful. A text recognition of mathematical notation would be even better.21 votes -
Allow multiple saved text styles, and able to set a default text style per notebook
Add the ability to have multiple saved text styles. Currently, you can only save one "default" text style, but I use multiple styles in different places, i.e. headlines and body text for note-taking in school.
Also, allowing different default text styles per notebook would really be a nice feature. I'm sure many of us use different default depending on the notebook, and it gets cumbersome changing the settings each time.

Donations
I'd like to see a donation option in settings or somewhere. I love this app, my life is this app (I wish I were being melodramatic). With that love comes fear, fear that this app will turn into a subscription model as it becomes more robust. I wouldn't mind donating what I can-when I can. I've purchased items from the shop in the iOS version, but I don't see another way offer my support. Finally, if there is a way to hide the tool bar on all versions it would make a big difference for people with small screens.

iCloud syncing on the apple photos model
Working on my ipad and taking all of my notes on it, these tend to take up lots of storage, which i don’t mind on my ipad and i want to be able to access every notes even without internet on it.
However, on my iphone, goodnotes syncs every notes and downloads them locally on my iphone which is problematic because it can quickly take up a lot of storage on the device when you only consult a few documents on your iPhone.It would be great if GoodNotes had a syncing option just like the one that iCloud Photos…

Version history function
Having a version history function would also be helpful like how google docs have theirs. As far as I've seen there isn't a version history function yet, and I haven't seen anyone suggest this idea in this forum.
