More user friendly for MacBooks
Make it more user friendly on computers not just iPads…every time I copy and past something from my MacBook GoodNotes shuts down. Super irritating.

Stylus sensitivity needs lower bound setting to control how firm you have to press before ink is laid down.
I think the reason for so many questions about handwriting looking spidery or messy is that the sensitivity settings do not have a lower-bounds option. What I mean is that as well as the maximum pressure, there should also be the lowest pressure at which any pen creates any mark. I can just rest my stylus under it's own weight and it creates a clear mark. We should be able to adjust the lower bound setting so that we can control how firmly we have to press before any 'ink' is laid down.

add tags to notes
Putting notes in a folder is convenient, but it would also be very convenient to be able to sort or search based on user-defined tags. Apple notes or Gmail are good examples.

multi page pdf to template
I'm unable to add a template with multiple pages. Not allowing this makes it where I cannot use the auto-zoom feature because it zooms too far down and cannot be adjusted unless it's a template. PLEASE FIX!

1 Outline but Curated From Multiple Documents
It would be wonderful to create a file (A) that allowed me to compile pages from many other documents/files (B, C, D.....) into file A's outline instead of copying and importing into file A. This would help tremendously with research papers and consolidating information on one topic from multiple sources.

handwritten shortcuts
A system which allows the user to create a shortcut that when a word/shape is written/drawn, it is automatically replaced with a sticker that is premade.
for examples:

Be able change opaqueness of highlighter
I think it would be easier if we had an option that allowed us to choose which opaqueness we wanted instead of having to overlap the same area again and again. Especially for someone like me that wants the overlapped areas to line up perfect.

hello, you can add: 1) Ruler (for mathematics and graphs). 2) Dictaphone according to the text. 3) Eyedropper and transparency brush. 4) Written by hand in printed text. 5) Drawing tools. 6) Not only straightening lines, but also wavy lines, zigzags. 7) The ability to turn the sheet with your fingers (upside down, sideways, etc.).

Hide flashcards
I would like to be able to mark which flash cards I don’t want to study, just like you can mark a page as favourite. Because I made flashcards for my entire chapter, but I only need to study certain things from that chapter. It would be nice to just be able to disable s the flashcards you don’t want to study.

fixing moving
When magnifying a pdf file in vertical scrolling state, if it is enlarged more than a certain percentage, it cannot be fixed to move left and right.
I want to continue using the pdf file by enlarging it to fit the iPad's horizontal aspect ratio, but it's so inconvenient.

Automatically "Copy" when you select "Screen Shot"
I usually screenshot parts of a pdf (i.e. questions) and then move them onto a new page (to solve).
Right now I have to:
- Select the region
- Select "Take a Screenshot"
- Wait for a pop up window to show up
- Press the "Share Button"
- Wait for another pop up window to show up
- Press the "Copy" button
- Wait for both pop up windows to close
- Then hold the lasso tool and press "Paste"It would be great if I can just:
- Select the region
- Select "Take a Screenshot"

Goodnotes for Windows and Android Devices
Hello,
I am a surface user and I am currently studying full time. I take physics and maths so the ability to write on my screen is essential when taking notes in lectures.
Unfortunately there is a distinct lack of note taking software available to use. The most apt, Microsoft journal lacks simple functionality like a ruler function.
A well designed software such as goodnotes would definitely fill that gap in the market.
Would goodnotes ever be released to other platforms?

Please bring back the DOUBLE LINE SPACING option from GoodNotes 4
Please bring back the DOUBLE LINE SPACING option from GoodNotes 4. Or an adjustable option that varies with the TYPE size entered. The default lines are TOO thin for proper writing for some of us.

Important: unsolicited popup on Mac
Hi,
I have used goodnotes for a long time. I was just working on my Mac and goodnotes in not even open and I got a popup (not a notification!) asking if I was enjoying goodnotes. I believe this is a violation as I do not have notifications enabled for Goodnotes on my mac. How do I make sure this never happens again? I think it is absolutely unacceptable for any app-especially if it is not even being used-to randomly open a popup on my computer. Disable Apple Pencil‘s double tap gestures when in Read-only mode
This is very annoying when reading over the stuff you wrote. My Apple Pencil is somehow very sensitive when it covers to double tap gestures, so this is a must have.

Flashcards from notes directly
Since it takes a lot of time to write flashcards by hand, it would be amazing to have a feature to create flashcards from the notes directly.
GoodNotes already possesses the ability to recognize the written text. It would be great to add the option to create flashcards by "highlighting"/marking the text you want to create a flashcard with and the app creates the flashcard automatically.
I feel like this would help a lot of students who have to read a lot so they can save time in making flashcards.22 votes -

We really need a zoom feature for study cards as they are so small I NEED TO WEAR GLASSES TO READ THEM AND I STILL CANT SEE IT CLEARLY!
