Text Colour Improvements
Text needs the option to save custom colours. Changing text colours also seems inconsistent and often changes the entire block instead of only highlighted text.

Preserve outline when exporting leveled PDF
Hello,
I want to export a leveled PDF whilst preserving the outline I created using GoodNotes.
I am aware that when exporting an editable PDF the outline is preserved, but this is not ideal because an editable pdf has a considerable size and the text isn't searchable, which makes it a bad choice to share the PDF online or with others.Best regards,

iCloud sync still does not work, please make it user controllable
Yesterday evening I created a folder on my desktop and added 7 files to it (exams I was about to grade). It took over 22 hours for these 7 files to finally appear on the iPad. Both the desktop and the iPad were connected to the network all the time. That's waaaaaaay too long.

PLEASE!! We need new writing tool!!
Hello, I am a Korean student who is using the GoodNotes very well. If I write Korean with a pen, my handwriting gets ugly. But If you take notes with laser points, your handwriting gets way much prettier!! If you add a pen that has the exact same writing experience as the laser point, I think I'll be able to use the GoodNotes very happily. Thank you!

Goodnotes無疑是款好用的筆記app，不用我再寫他的優點、以下提出幾處能夠優化之處，麻煩您：
打字的顏色：
打字的顏色無法新增顏色，只能每次都重新挑一次色碼，這點希望盡快改善（但可以直接更新成：打字的顏色盤跟畫筆的顏色盤共用，我相信這點更新並不困難，但是能大幅改善使用體驗，非常重要）
打字換色的快捷鍵：
畢竟就在打字了，還要用手來換顏色實在太不盡人意了，因此希望能將顏色盤前九個顏色設定九個快捷鍵（例如cmd + Ctrl +數字）（當然顏色要如上一點所說，能夠和畫筆的顏色盤同步才能自訂）
文字的行距：
如同大家所知，方格筆記還是最實用的筆記，但是打字的話很難對齊格子，因此修改行距就變得格外重要，但是當前版本的行距修改完後，下次又變回預設值，無法如同字型及文字大小等設定成預設行距，每次調整真的不是很聰明，而且希望行距能用輸入的。
跨頁問題：
希望能將選取物直接拖拉到另一頁，而不用一直剪下貼上。在打字方面，希望能如隔壁陣營（Notability）一樣能在整張紙前面有一排能輸入字元的地方，而不用全部都要用文字框，因為毎打大篇的筆記（例如英文單字），如果是用文字框的話，在其中新增個幾行或刪減個幾行，那文字框就又可能超出頁面顯示範圍，這樣就要把多出來的剪下到下一頁，同理，下一頁又會多出來一些，—直剪貼，非常的不人道，希望能新增這個功能（在文件最前面新增一列能插入字元的位置「如同Word, Notability」）
這幾點是我目前遇到最大的幾個問題，希望開發者能真實的聽到我們使用者的聲音，為使用者們做優化、調整！！！
我也是真心喜歡這個軟體，才會花那麼多時間打這篇文章，希望你們能理解然後做出更新，我會繼續支持你們，加油！！！

I use a lot of screenshot capture using a noose.
In this case, the image quality drops a lot.I wish it could be modified to convert the PDF into an image.
In this case, an image of 300 dpi will be less degraded. 600dpi is great.6 votes -
Change dimmensions of scanned pages
If you scan a document, you should be able to choose if it is A4,A5 etc

Enhanced Collaboration Options
I share my Bullet Journal with a virtual assistant so she knows what I’m working on and can pick up tasks from it. But sharing for collaboration is all or nothing — every notebook and full editing permissions. Read-only permissions and collaboration on a single notebook would be helpful.

Streamlined Brush/Pen Option
Add an option in the brush (pen) settings to adjust streamline 0%-100%. This would keep handwriting neater for those who struggle with smooth lines and help enable people with disabilities or medical conditions to write easier. It would also allow for better drawing/sketching on figures to augment notes without relying on the hold to snap feature that doesn’t work for curved and unique lines.

Epub format support
Enable GoodNotes to support the formats epub for e-books. We can totally utilize the use of this app for note-taking whilst reading an e-book in epub format (and the likes).

A painting tool to write show/hidden text
It would be so fantastic and handy if there is a painting tool to write show/hidden text. We can use it while writing notes to write keywords, saving time to new a “Flash Card”.

Add a menu item to duplicate a selection with one tap
Add a "Duplicate" item to the selection pop-up menu so one can duplicate a selection with one tap instead of having to first select copy, then press-and-hold to show the pop-up menu, then select paste.
The duplicated selection’s position could be determined by available canvas space or simply be shown slightly overlapping the original selection.
I’ve attached an image showing the desired behaviour.

Elements in zoomed-in screen area, not center of note page.
Hi. I LOVE the addition of elements to Goodnotes. This has increased my user experience ten fold!
One Request: I often am zoomed way in when I'm taking notes, so I have a larger screen surface and more notes on a page. It would be helpful if when adding a saved element to a page, the element is placed where you are zoomed in, versus in the center of the page. Or, have the ability to use the lasso tool to circle an area, and add the element to that area.
Having to zoom out, grab the element, and drag…

Add ios 15 translation feature
Apple announced that iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey feature system-wide translation, allowing users to translate text by simply selecting it and tapping or right clicking on the Translate option that appears.
This native support by the os, should be easy to implement.
In fact, some existing applications already support this feature without upgrading. I am curious why GoodNotes does not automatically support it when reading PDF files.

After pasting graphics, automatically switch back to pen (or last used tool)
It's pretty annoying to have to switch back to the pen after pasting copied content (even when pasting handwritten text).

Chisel tip highlighter
Add a highlight option to have a round tip or chisel tip. The chisel tip would be the exact same as the current highlighter but it would have straight boxed ends instead of round ends.

Mass changing of font
I would love to be able to lasso a bunch of text boxes and change the font on all to the same font. Ie Lasso all text boxes and change font to Arial.
