While editing a note, sort the tabs at the top by the date they have been edited last time
While editing a note on my iPad, there is a row of tab's at the top showing other notebooks. I don't understand how those are sorted. Anyhow, I suggest to sort the tabs by the date when those documents have been edited last. This would be, IMO, the most useful sorting.

Mac like organization
I really hate the organizaiton choices of this application. It feels a lot like how windows does it vs how apple does it. For instance when you go to finder and click something like documents and click on a folder in documents you get this nice tree light distribution of the files that your in and what you have looked through. In my pc if you do this it takes you into the next folder but doesn't give you that nice overview. You do this with the my pc but it acts exactly like how how goodnotes 5 currently operates.…

Only Erase handwriting
Some time I use GoodNotes for test practicing, and I snap screen some test questions to another Note, then writing answers, when I want re-test, I have to use eraser to erase handwriting, cause I want those pic of "Questions" not be erased, so I wonder if you can add a function to filter 'quick erase hole page'

I have two different App Store accounts! I got a new IPad and had no idea I was using a separate account from my phone. How can I switch between accounts within the app to access everything I have on my iPad when I am using my phone?

UNABLE TO EXCLUDE FILES FROM BACKUP
Not a suggestion, but complaint. Unable to set a file name to exclude from the auto-backup. I can't click on the section, and there is no where for me to set a file name to exclude.

Page position
I was wondering if you can add a feature?
I would love it if you could make it that you can scroll the page you are working on up the screen further than just to the bottom of the screen. What I mean by this is rather than have the bottom of the page you are writing on stay at the bottom of the screen, it would be great if you could actually scroll the page up so the bottom of the page you are writing on is actually half way up the screen so you can still rest your…

Different Highlighter Tips
Maybe offer a wider selection of highlighters instead of just the rounded tip one! Visually, sometimes it looks nicer for my notes if the highlighter rip were slanted or simply had a flat end to it.

Keep document structure in backup PDF
I have downloaded and imported a PDF which has a structure which is visible in goodnotes and makes it easier to navigate. However, when I check the PDF which is automatically synced to my Dropbox, it does not have the structure which is unfortunate as I see no reason for it to be omitted when you're already able to successfully import it.

Pen to eraser problem
I’m a new user, so this might be a clarification request rather than a feature request, but I’m doing something that makes the tool switch randomly from pen to eraser. Is there a setting somewhere I can change to make it stop doing this? If I want the eraser I’ll pick the eraser.

Auto backups without background template
It would be so awsome for the autobackup feature to have an option to backup all docs to pdf but without the background template. i know it can be tricky if you wrote on a black template with white ink, but for all people using templates just as a guide to keep sentences straight and a yellowish paper colour to avoid eye strain it would be the best feature ever

Plz give use variable/customizable eraser sizes/thicknesses
This is just a nonsense to not be available.. all we need is the exact same thing as the pencil stroke thickness, but for the eraser..
Simple as that, the same 3 quick eraser sizes/thickness, but with the ability to customize those sizes, plzzzz... its 2020 and its a "simple" feature

Easier, simpler lasso tool
In this app the lasso tool is almost flawless, exept when you use it to copy an image from one note to the other.. you have to take a screenshot and then drag it or copy and past, when you could just lasso it and all those option would appear as floating options and we wouldnt be moved to a new page with only the screenshot of the image. Think about it ;)

Option to keep adding new pages to a file when we get current page half written, like instead of being always swiping up or manually adding a new page when we need it is a waste of time, with a simple option you could auto add new pages as getting to the bottom of the current page

Toolbar placement and funtionality
The tool bar is where most magic starts, so it should be something really simple, easy access and unintrusive but yours has too many items and takes valuable space from the screen, mainly if we are landscape. Could use the top bar wheres the document title to integrate the toolbar there and the title of the document would be somewhere else, again, notability does this perfectly
And also plz, let us move the tool bar to the bottom without moving the entire top bar with it2 votes -
We could use a better, boulder, more colourfull folders, not just boring looking baby blue ones ;)
The design of the folders is pretty boring and i know you could make something way more modern and less techie.. those blue archivers are clearly not the best looking folder icons you can use, and while at it, plz let us change its colours so we can set different colours to different content of the folder.. would be easier to use, like university folders at green, stuff at blue, job at orange, etc...

Highlighters in dark paper
Also, making the highlighters brighter in dark paper? Like making it stay like when you are applying it? Or a bigger pen instead, to use that.

Folder names/titles are fairly small and there is not an option to make them larger. Please make this available. Thank you!

Add a group lines feature
Can you add a “merge” or “group” lines feature? It would make drawing shapes and ideas a whole lot easier. Similar to being able to group multiple lines or images on PowerPoint or google docs.
