Improved text styling/tool
I do a lot of handwriting in GoodNotes, but would love to have improved text functionality. The current formatting options (like no bullets or lists, and not being able to type on the full page, having the create multiple text boxes for multiple pages, etc.) are super frustrating. I'd love to have all my notes in one place instead of having to use a different app for typed notes.

Further Keyboard Navigation
It would be tremendous to have the ability to launch the page organizer (with Thumbnails, Favorites, Outlines) via a keyboard shortcut. Furthermore, once in that window, it would be handy to be able to jump between the Thumbnails, Favorites, and Outlines views.
I use all 3 of those organizational features in different ways within the same notebook, but navigation can get cumbersome. Having these navigational shortcuts would be a game changer.

Zoom out/ in on a specific area instead of the whole page
If you've ever used procreate, you know what I'm referring to.
The zoom out / zoom in is an annoying aspect (I'm an avid Goodnotes user so I mean this without malicious intent) when trying to focus on a specific area of the page to write notes on. Let's say for example I am focusing on a diagram I'm drawing and want to zoom out on that specific area to only see my diagram and focus on that area, it's not possible; when zooming out, the whole page is zoomed out. I would love to have zoom in/ out that…

Include support for Wacom pens with eraser end.
I would find it very useful if GoodNotes would include support for the eraser end of the pen used in higher-end Wacom screens and tablets. Thanks!

Erasure improvement
Double-tapping the erasure tool brings up some options. Add an objects switch to allow me to turn that off. This way I can hand-draw a quick chart and begin filling it with text. Now if I need to make changes I can simply turn off objects and not have to worry about erasing the cell borders.

Resize / Scale template
Any template, for any screen size, should be resizable. I.e. instead of "Ruled Narrow" or "Ruled Wide" There should be one "Ruled" with the option to change to whatever size / scale I wish.
This is especially important for the sheet music template which are too small for writing. (At least on my ipad)

Google image
Would love to see “insert image from Google search” added as a feature. It would save steps of opening a browser and copy/pasting or saving to files and then inserting.

Improvement on Mac typing
By far the biggest let down of GoodNotes is the failure of the drawing coexisting with the typing. Currently, typing is shocking on mac and must be improved to a similar standard to a word processor. This would widen the target market dramatically and improve the service significantly.

Basic photo editing when inserting pictures
When I take a photo of something to insert into my notes, the lighting may not always be great. I’d like to edit a photo within the app to adjust lighting among other things to make the picture clearer.
I know I can take the photo myself and then edit in my photos app, but it’d be a lot easier to snap a photo in GoodNotes and edit it there instead of editing on my phone and then taking the extra step to insert into my notes. It’s simply a matter of convenience.

A ruler to help draw lines
Is it possible to create a ruler to help draw lines at any angle at controlled length? And to measure the size of an object in the PDF file? I use goodnotes to review civil drawings since confinement. Thanks in advance!

graphics tablet functionality
I am using an XP-pen graphics tablet display on MacOS. The recognition of the stylus is frustrating. It sometimes takes a few strokes to have my input recognized, and other times it works great. Other applications (other than MS Onenote, which brought me to Goodnotes) seem to work fine with the tablet/stylus input.

Add gridline function in any notebooks or imported PDF
Sometimes I want to write sentences straight on a blank area from an imported PDF. However, most of the time, my handwriting won’t be straight if sentences are long.
If implement a gridline function in which the user can click a button on the toolbar and show gridlines on the files. It can let the user write straight handwriting sentences on any place of the PDF easily and neatly.

HIDER-MARKER, hides written text and shows it when you click on it.
It would be great to have a marker, that covers already written text and when you click on it (with the finger, not pen), it shows you what lies beneath!
This would be very useful for documents where you need to memorise the answers but first want to think of the question without immediately seeing the written solution beneath.5 votes -

Ruler, coordinate system, insert pictures, print as in PPT
Having a ruler like in AppleNotes would be really helpful.
Besides that, as a student with a lot of maths, something like GeoGebra in a simpler version would help too. Being able to enter a function term and get the function in a coordinate system would be of great help and an even greater addition to GoodNotes.
Also, being able to select multiple pictures to insert would be helpful, as it would save time from having to select each and every single picture.
In PowerPoint, the function of print as handnotes gives the user three pictures on the left hand…
