Jumping in on this older post because I'm curious if there have been any updates or fixes for the Sticky Note issue Daniela mentioned. It would be a game-changer if Goodnotes included a feature where pop-ups automatically adjust to stay within the visible area. Has anyone found any workarounds in the meantime? Maybe some creative placement tips? Let’s share any new insights that might help each other out!

I’ve been playing around with linking handwritten bubbles by grouping them, then using the lasso tool to fake a mindmap layout. It’s a bit clunky, but it keeps everything movable so ideas don’t get stuck in place. I’d love a quick way to snap handwritten nodes together too, kind of like magnets, so the flow stays tidy even when I shuffle things around.

I’ve bumped into the same pain point and it slows me down more than I’d like to admit. A quick escape button or swipe gesture would feel way smoother than backing out step by step. I’ve started using a two-finger swipe to jump around, but it’s still a bit of a hack. Having a clean one-tap way back to the main library would keep the flow going without breaking stride.

I’ve had the audio cut out on me mid-lecture too, and it drove me up the wall. What helped a bit was turning off multitasking gestures and background app refresh for other heavy apps, plus keeping Low Power Mode off while recording. It’s not a real fix, more like duct tape, but it made the audio less jumpy while switching pages. Hope Goodnotes patches this soon.

I ran into the same headache and figured out that the copy option only pops up if the lasso selection actually contains handwritten strokes or objects. If it's just blank space or a partial grab that misses the ink, Goodnotes stays quiet. I started zooming in a bit before selecting so I catch the whole thing, and that made the copy button show up way more reliably.

I’ve been craving something like this too, since hooking my notes into other apps feels like pulling teeth right now. An API would make it way easier to sync stuff without weird workarounds or copy paste marathons. Even basic endpoints for pulling text, pages, or metadata would already open a lot of doors for small tools or automations. I’d jump on this the moment it lands.
I know this thread is a bit old, but I'd love a spellcheck in Text Docs, too! It's frustrating when I'm typing out longer notes and miss a mistake. Has there been any update on this feature request? Maybe Goodnotes could provide a sneak peek if they're working on it. More votes could help push this feature up the priority list!
