Performance and customizability
Hey goodnotes,
I'm using your program on windows and there are some performance issues especially when you import larger pdfs.
Especially if you write something on it the performance is suboptimal.
I also noticed that the written text seems kind of blurry when you zoom out that could also be improved.
Also some more customizability in the home screen, like sorting your folders in the order you want, would be great.
If you do a few fixes making your program more usable for all platforms you will probably dominate the market in a few years no matter if it’s an…1 vote -
No title (using screen space) when just one book is open
Could you please bring back the UI that would not show the title of the book when there is just one book open? I usually have only one open, and the new UI that always shows the title takes up a lot of screen space.

Integration with GitHub
I would like to suggest integrating GitHub accounts with GoodNotes to enable synchronization between a specific repository and a designated GoodNotes directory (or a virtual directory mimicking the repository). This feature would use the GitHub API to periodically push and pull data, allowing for backup creation and facilitating tracking edits and collaboration. Considering its intended use in university settings, if the API costs become a concern, offering this functionality as part of the GitHub Student Developer Pack could be an option. I appreciate your consideration of this suggestion. Thanks.

Automatic Linking
Goodnotes6 now allows users to link documents, although this process can be time-consuming when there are numerous pages. It would be more efficient if links could be automatically connected when screenshots are taken. Please consider this suggestion.

buy full package of goodnotes directly from appstore
my company is using goodnotes, we need to have an option to buy the app directly from appstore rather than creating the purchase after download (in app purchase).
i mean a paid package that i can pay already through the app store.

Creating Notebooks with Pages
I’d like the option to, when creating a notebook, be able to have it generate a certain (customizable) number of pages ahead of time so I don’t have to add them one at a time later

Selected highlighted text with (a) comment(s) into it’s own page!
When I download .pdf files such as study guides for my classes, I love to highlight each question and add a comment to it which allows me to use active recall and organize the answers directly to the comments, this is awesome!
What would compliment this is allowing whatever is highlighted with an embedded comment, to also have an option to view both the highlighted part and it’s comments in it’s own page! For example, I would love to share my comments that I have made for the questions on my study guide, and have what I’ve typed already attached…

User guide in Split View alongside documents
It’s inconvenient to exit document to open user guide, search and go back to open document to practice. When it doesn’t work, I have to repeat steps, closing and searching.
Currently Split View only opens other apps.

Backup into document folder
When on a certain document and you hit the back arrow, it should open up to that folder and not the recent folder you were in.

keyboard function updates and more
All very nice, but the keyboard function should be improved to beat the competitiveness that this app certainly has. First of all, many layout customization functions should be added, the possibility of adding and creating tables, the possibility of dividing the writing page into two columns when desired without distorting the rest of the page which must remain in one column, the possibility of having greater customization. More options for learning study stets
Study sets are great and i love this feature very much but i think some additional improvements will make it extremely useful and great.
For example how much I remember the cards, if there is multiple option as in Anki such as easy, good, hard & again rather than know it or not will improve smart learn and add filter cards queue, some cards i forget it at all while others i just forget a little bit of it so the only two option make them equal.Although if there is an option for backward of cards as I accidentally…

Swipe index card overview smaller or larger
When you open the index card overview, the font is usually far too small to really read what is written on the cards. You should be able to change the size of the cards by swiping or dragging them larger and smaller. Then you can read the cards and don't have to search for a long time.

[New languages] Hungarian
Add Hungarian recognition. Lot of Hungarian students would appreciate at least Hungarian grammar even if the Hungarian handwriting recognition is not available

Page number at all times and tap, and scroll bar
Would like the ability to toggle the page number to stay on at all times. Also the ability to tap the page number to search for different pages. Where is the scroll bar? It is not intuitive having to use your finger in order to see the page number and go into the settings to search for a specific page number.
