Wavy, zigzag lines
Drawing a straight line works really well. It would be great if a beautiful wavy line could also be drawn neatly in a similar way. Teachers use this a lot to underline small errors for example.

Toggle for "Hold to Zoom"
It would be nice to have the option to disable hold to zoom as this will often pop up when I am writing any dots, periods, or multiplication signs (I like to make them fairly visible).
I'm fairly sure Notability has this, so it would be nice to have this option in this app as well.2 votes -

Sometimes I create a new colour and forget to Save it but need it anyway. I hope I am not the only person having this problem. So please add this fantastic tool.

Pen Stabilizer
A stabilizer setting for pens in GoodNotes!
Currently, when you go look on the GoodNotes App, on the Apple App Store, the previews show that you're able to easily draw these examples and diagrams for notes.. but it's VERY difficult to do in reality.
If you talk to any Digital Artist, they'll tell you a stabilizer one of the most important features to have in any drawing program.
I'm not trying to draw anything fancy, really. It's just really hard to draw remotely anything without the lines being jagged.
More flexibility with the brush settings, in general, would help users…

Calendar Integration Support
There's nothing more satisfying than having calendar templates that actually integrate with most common calendar formats (at least google calendar or Apple iCloud Calendar).

Pages in two-dimensional grid form
If you set your page scrolling to lets say horizontal and you scroll to the right you can create a new page there. What if you can create a new page on the right side and below. That way you have columns and rows for pages. You could import a PDF document vertically and add to every page on its right horizontally a new page.

PDF Text Selection & Annotation Improvements
The ability to select text from PDFs and having the option to copy, highlight, strikethrough, underline, and define (dictionary, lookup, read).
The already existing annotation options on GoodNotes are good for freehand writing, but it would be GREAT if the annotations be “snapped” directly to the text!

Palm Rejection Issues
When zoomed in trying to write, ocasionally the whole thing zooms out having to zoom in again. This is very frustrating, especially when doing things under time restriction such as exams or some kind of quiz. I have noticed that this happens when moving the palm when writing.

Option to delete a synced document or folder on the device
Please add a option to delete documents and folders on your device without deleting them entirely. Similar on Files on MacOS where your files are in the cloud and you can choose to delete them just from your device. This would be especially useful on a low storage device.

Link between a book (PDF) and notebook
As example, we could have the option to open a pdf inside the notebook, making easier make slices from the book to notebook (no need to save in the gallery or copy the image, just select and slide). Thais way, when the image copied get clicked at the notebook, the book reopen in the same page (they keep linked). Just Like a referenced cell.

New function lasso tool
I would suggest another function for the lasso tool which makes it possible to chance the font size of the selected handwritten text without enlarging the whole text.

Integration into Files App iPadOS
My idea is, that you can organize and see your GoodNotes files in the files app on iOS/iPadOS devices. This would enhance/improve the workflow with GoodNotes files. Beside it would be nice, if GoodNotes would support shortcuts, e. g. automatically creating new notes or search for notes with filters. Thank you

Moving page within GoodNotes
When I sometimes accidentally imported pages to the wrong document, I need to go through a lot of trouble to move it back to the correct document. I’m not sure if there are any current functions that would allow me to move pages within existing GoodNotes document easily, if not should we please have this function added? Thank you so much!

The ability to open the flashcards as full screen when we are studying them instead of it opening a separate page. Also a function that enlarges the text/ zooms in when you are studying the flashcards. I always zoom in initially to write my text but then I go to study flashcards function and I can't even read what I have written. So I have to go back and enlarge all the text. Shortcuts for Folders/ Notes
I want improved folder/ note organization where the same file can be placed in multiple locations without compromising space (e.g. if I have a folder labeled textbooks, but then want to access a specific text from a different folder like Year 1 Microbiology which includes lecture PDFs, notes, and review sheets).
