Quick format selector
I would like to have a feature where you can press and hold on any writing in the note and your pen will automatically use that selected formatting, similar to a colour eye dropper tool.

Please sync custom colours across pen and highlighting tools.
Please allow users to be able to have the function to sync their custom colours across pen, highlighter, text box to allow users to use the same custom colour and do not need to add again in other tools.

Page Numbering in exported pdf
It would be very useful to get a page numbering option creating page numbers in pdf when exporting to pdf.

In favorites, there is no way to tell the location of a document.
Suggestion: in the options menu (per document), there should be an option to see the location and go to original folder.

Comments/Sidebar for notes on PDF
Some of the pdf’s I import have very small margins that do not allow me to write notes on. It would be fantastic if there was a feature that acted as sticky notes like in Apple’s feature in the Books app or how Google docs allow you to add comments.

Simple Keyboard Only Tools for Iphone
As a Goodnotes user on Ipad (+ Pencil) and Iphone I would really like more flexibility with using a keyboard for text imput on both platforms, but primarily on Iphone.
I would really like to have nested bullet points, dashes, numbering, and indentation features available within the Text Boxes

Make it possible to set opacity of text box background so underlying items could still be seen.

External links to and image previews of GoodNotes Pages
Links to Goodnotes pages that you could insert in other sites and apps.
For example within "Roam Research" or "Notion" it would be amazing if you could have a reference link to a jpeg preview of a particular page that would be updated as the page was updated. Then you could have a link that opened that page in Goodnotes. This way the image would be handy and could be updated when required. It would be great to be able to select a fill and stroke color for shapes created.

Use Selection tool while in magnification.
Note taking would be much smoother if we could use the selection tool to move text and objects without having to exit the magnification.

Taking too much space
I have a 1T of storage on my iPad mostly for Goodnotes, but on my phone I only have 64G. I need to be able to have only certain specific notebooks store themselves on my phone.

Move current page number up a bit (hidden by iPad OS toolbar)
This might be a specific use case issue, but when having split screen of two different notebooks open, the Toolbar at the bottom covers up the page numbers. I know I can move the GoodNotes tool bar to the bottom, which in turn moves the page number to the top of the view, but this is an uncomfortable solution.
So my suggestion is to move the page numbers up a bit when the tool bar shows. This way a person can easily reference the page number when making a master list for different parts of the document.

We need an option to choose for the text to fit naturally to the lines of templates that have lines to type on. It would be great that when we change the chosen font, it would adapt and still fit in the line.
It's too troublesome trying to find the right font to fit into the lines, and I still cant find my perfect font and font size to do that.

New notebook from Clipboard pages
Instead of creating a notebook and then pasting the pages we copied earlier from another notebook, it will be easier if there is an option to insert pages from clipboard directly. (check sshot attached)

Enable more pen sizes to be added to the tool bar
It would be nice to be able to add more pen sizes to the tool bar when needed and also can delete them if you don't need it. This makes it easier to change between sizes instead of changing the pen size each time when an extra one is needed.

Assign/Preset Pen Colors and Sizes By Template
I frequently go between black and yellow paper templates, depending on class and revisions.
Rather than having to manually switch the three colors and pen sizes with each template, what if we could assign a preset for a template.
Ex: each time I open my black squared template, I'd have white/pink/blue colors set at .3, .5, and 1 but if I switch/insert my yellow dotted template, those presets would switch to black/yellow/blue (etc etc).

The ability to move you file sytem of goodnotes over to a home NAS.
This way a new note would automaticly be stored on my NAS. Also I would not have to use ICloud to see my notes on other devices. This would make things a lot more orginised and it would also save storage space on my ipad! :)

Direct file editing in Files
Well when I work I have to import documents every time and when I want to get my work into the files or in a hard drive I have to export it every time it’s kind of complex and mail may may we get a feature that can simplify this process like make it a feature that can support as direct from editing

More pens, highlighters, color palettes, and change erasing
Please add in more pens and highlighter options like rectangle or round end. Also, please add in color palettes to the pens and highlighters in case we want to design our notes in a certain color scheme. Also the eraser is annoying so please change it to erase pixels.

search only handwriting or only text so that i can search for just handwriting in a document rather than both
I often annotate books for school and it would be nice if I could search only my handwriting and not the entire text of the book
