Invisible dotted line lasso/selection tool
Make dotted lines of the lasso/selection tool invisible to a remote monitor or recording. This would give presenters the ability to live animate notes with motion, for example, in a physics lecture, to drag an object across the screen, illustrating constant velocity or acceleration, without the students seeing the dotted selection lasso.

Invisible ink for annotations
Similar to the other invisible ink request, but with a twist. An ink that only shows on the iPad, so that a person can create fill-in the blank notes that don't show the answers to people watching on a remote monitor, or freehand drawings live, drawing over previously created lines, giving the illusion to the audience or recording that the freehand drawing is being done from scratch. Add "delete page" to the "More" menu
Simplify the "delete page" feature by adding it to the More menu. This would make the deletion process much quicker, logical (and easier to remember).

Embed scanned document within the page
Allow embedding of scanned documents within the page - like we can do with images.
Sometimes we need to scan a paragraph of text and embed it within the notes. Taking a picture and embedding that instead doesn’t work because the text in the picture is not searchable.

Include an oblique or italic page template
I'd like to see a native page option lined for calligraphy, italics or drafting/art with oblique vertical lines. Now that I know how to import one (attached here from PrintablePaper.net) that's helpful too but I'd guess there are others I haven't even thought of who would also benefit from an oblique template.

Lasso Tool Improvement to Cover Multiple & cover top to bottom of individual page
The Lasso tool should work for multiple pages to be converted from hand-writing to text.
If I write from the very top to the very bottom of the page, the Lasso tool is unable to enclose the entire page !

Suggestion about having some built-in shapes in GoodNotes 5
Currently, the shape tools in GoodNotes 5 is supported to “draw into shapes”. However, it will be easier to draw some complex shapes (especially coordinate system) by the shape function (with built-in shapes) in OneNote, which is shown in the video in the attachment. This function can also help users to draw shapes more precisely.

Handwriting style templates with the broken and unbroken grey lines to help structure letter height, both upright and slanted to help with letter formation and narrower grids and smaller lined sheets

使用GoodNotes记笔记半年多，其书写的流畅度是出类拔萃的，只是还有些许功能需要改进，在此提出我的建议，希望开发者可以认真考虑：
1、绘图功能有待完善。GoodNotes采用手写识别的绘图方式，这种方式绘图确实较为自由，但是失之精确。我在画一些物理示意图时经常涉及到圆、矩形、坐标系等图像，用手写识别的方式绘制相当费劲，建议增加一些相关图像的预设，可以直接拖入图像调整参数，方便精确绘制。（可以参考微软Office系列插入图像的操作逻辑）
2、目录导航功能有待完善。现在的Goodnotes目录没有页码输入的功能，想找几百页的东西只能老老实实往后划，较为费力，建议增加页码跳转的功能。
3、文本输入格式有待完善。文本输入时只能设置一些基本格式，另一些对排版具有较大影响的格式如字间距、行间距等并没有办法设置。建议增加文本框的设置内容已满足基本的排版需要。
4、模板预设有待完善。Goodnotes提供了相当丰富的背景模版，很大程度上满足了我的需要，但是我想要使用一些个性化的背景模版时需要自己进行绘制，这有一定的技术门槛。建议增加“智能模版”，即可以在现有模版的基础上进行个性化的设置，比如改变格线的数量、间距、分栏等等，方便用户自行设计合适的模板。8 votes -
Stroke Outline on Inserted Photos
I would like to be able to add a boarder stroke on inserted photos so that will show up better on blank pages. Also the ability to change the size of the stroke, as in wider or slimmer.

Having a way to select the entire screen quickly could be useful if you need to copy everything, change the colo(u)r and delete.

Three fingers for clipboard
There are shortcuts built in to iOS and iPadOS for copying and pasting which aren’t supported (three fingers spread out for paste and the fingers pinch for copy) which could help save time for both text and images, especially when using any tool.

[Outline] Add quick access button or gesture for outline side view
So far so good!
I’d like to see a new layout implemented. I’m sure most users use Outlines to organize their notebooks so it’d make perfect sense to have a fast way to access the outline of the notebook without having to press on the four Rectangle button and then click on Outline (when being in thumbnails or favorites).
So my recommendation is to have a button to directly show the notebook outline, since I’m working a lot with lectures slides and I have one notebook for each course. The placement of the button could be near the title on…43 votes -
Lasso should persist after undo of move.
When you lasso something, and then tap to get the options, sometimes the tap shoves the lasso'd material along a little bit. UNDO puts it back exactly where it was but, at the moment, also drops the lasso. It would be great if the lasso remained (and the options, of course) so you don't have to try it again (and again...) to tap without shoving.

Please be able to keep all file in your own cloud, don’t need to keep in internal storage
It must be great if you have your own cloud and I can keep all of my file in that and pay monthly or for free at any storage. Don’t need to keep in internal storage!! It will help someone who have less internal storage like me!!!

page size
There are many PDF files whose page sizes are not A4 or A3-This kind of the standard size. This causes a problem when importing PDF, which is that the pages added to the document are not the same size as the PDF pages imported. Therefore, I think the imported document should be zoomed when it is displayed. For example, when the page is turned vertically, all the pages should be displayed in the same width, and the standard size of the page should be selected when exporting Pdf.

Annotations
Sometimes I'm forced to use PDF Expert when annotating PDFs, because I can get a summary of the annotations. Hope you can add to GoodNotes, then I'll be able to use it all the time.

Adding last page of imported doc when pulling down
It is annoying that the last page of an added document keeps copying itself when one is pulling down the last page of a notebook. Please change that - thanks!
