PDF: Go back after link jump
Now, we cannot go back to the link point after tapping a link in the pdf. How about adding this feature?

Allow typing straight onto a document without having to use a text box
This idea is good for when using the Mac and easier to keep te typed documents with the handwritten documents with our having to convert everything over to GoodNotes as a pdf (which can't be edited)

The eraser feature could get bigger or smaller depending on the posture of the Apple Pencil
Like the apple notes app, it would be cool if the eraser would get 'bigger' if you hold the pencil at an angle on the iPad and small when the pencil is straight up.

Mathematical conversion
Can yall add a maths conversion tool where when we write an equation, we can select that equation using the lasso tool to convert to a high resolution text

It would be even more great to be able to customize folders, notebooks, etc to match the aesthetics people want to have.

Open document as popup note floating on top of another document
I recently switched from Flexcil to Goodnotes and I love the experience so far. The only thing I am missing is the ability to have a floating document as a popup on top of another document. This makes taking notes and writing summaries of another document a lot more fun.

Have an auto lock feature when you have set the zoom.
This would prevent the difference in font sizes when you close your notes and open them back up again. I always forget how far I zoom in so my notes end up looking messy because of the different sizes of some of my sentences.

Study all flash cards from all folders 📂
I’d like to mix up my flash cards from different folders by selecting which folders to study so I don’t need to go to each folder and study from those flash cards separately.

Align my writing ✍️
Long sentences I write curve down when using blank pages or creating flash cards. I’d like to enable an option to auto-straighten or auto-align my sentences.

PREVIEW A SIDEBAR WITH A LIST OF BOOKMARKS
I appreciate the setting of hyperlinks coming from other apps such as Keynote or InDesign, etc. However, I think it would be more useful the possibility to preview all the bookmarks on a sidebar whenever I want, being able to add shortcuts to any of my files inside the GoodNotes app.

Recolor Highlighter
Similar items have been suggested but only after selecting them which is cumbersome. Would love an option to recolor text by using a variant to the highlighter. Just like dragging a highlighter over text would highlight it, the recolor highlighter would instead recolor the text you've drawn a line over to the color selected. Think of it like putting a strike through a sentence, but instead of the line strike, the result would be changing the color of that underlying text from black to red for example. Much better UX than trying to draw a select around text.

please add the ability to move text with lasso tool from one page to the other
this and other features like audio recording in sync with notes, proper smooth scrolling that doesn't have a mind of its own, ability to change the size of eraser, are what makes notability better
the only difference is that notability makes my writing uglier. it looks better in goodnotes but as far as user experience goes, notability is way better and keep in mind i got it for free ages ago and i had to pay for good notes
you guys are intelligent and capable and i'm sure you'll manage to add these features in the near future

circle drawn by holding with pen erased on line rather than middle
I often write inside a circle that I have drawn. If I make a mistake I have to erase it then redraw the circle, which is hard enough as more often than not it goes to an ellipse - maybe another area for improvement.

Make Highlight Align with Text Automatically
The current highlight tool adjusts its position based on how user draws the line. However, lines drawn manually may not perfectly align with text from the PDF file, so the inconsistent gaps between different highlights may look awkward and ugly.

Smaller Flashcards and Adapted PDF Export
An option to export Flashcards (2, 3, 4, ... flashcards on one page) as a PDF, so I can study on paper as well.

Color presets
For GoodNotes 5 it would be nice to have more than 3 color and line presets on the toolbar. GoodNotes 4 had many easily accessible color presets and up to 4 line presets. It would make switching colors or line weights much easier.
