Add ability to navigate from library to open notebooks without selecting item from library
Scenario:
A user is working within a notebook in the "workspace" (the UI where all of the currently open notebooks' tabs are displayed and a user performs there GoodNote'ing). The user is curious if they have a notebook somewhere titled "Foo" and wants to see where "Foo" lives, but they do not want to open "Foo."Current behavior:
When user navigates to the library, they cannot return to their open notebooks until they select a notebook. In this scenario, the user would be forced to open "Foo" only to immediately close it.Ideal behavior:

Remember last style (brush, size, color) when opening a document.
I use different brush, color and size in different documents. When opening a document, I spend time resetting my style.
Also (or alternatively) allow saving presets (combo box with up to 3 or 10 presets).

Allow zoom out in lasso
When pinching the page to zoom out, lasso selection is removed.
I want to be able to zoom out in lasso mode while keeping the selection. This is actually possible if I first select resize. Then I can zoom out and keep the selection. Pls allow the same in lasso.7 votes -
Horizontal Split Screen
The average engineering student spends most of their time either taking notes or exercising and practicing off a sheet much like the one visible in the screenshots.
The current situation provides no comfortable way of displaying the assignments without the use of a secondary device or constantly "tabbing" back and forth between assignments and notes to copy them.As of iPad OS 13.4.1, Apple has still not implemented horizontal split-screen with many users suggesting that it may never happen.
A splitscreen feature within GoodNotes would provide an elegant and intuitive solution in any situation where both viewing a document and…

When clicking undo, jump to the page where the change take place
If the undo operation take place in another page, I won’t be able to see it nor know what was done. Jumping to that page where undo take place will allow me to understand more about the nature of the undo.
Moreover, jumping, wait 500ms and then perform the undo will allow me to visually see it as well.
Redo will jump back to the page I were at.

Make laser pen brush into a writing pen brush.
The laser pen brush of GoodNotes5 which is tried perfect for Chinese, Korean and Japanese handwriting.

* able to change order PLEASE (send to front or back)
* rounded corners (roundedness can be scalable)

Design custom template function
It would be great to have the option to design a template that has the same dimensions as the default ones. So that if you import a paper or cover design you can...
- put it against the original dimensions
- mark it up
- rotate the orientation
- add basic paper types (grids, lines, dots)... Better if you could choose the colour and spacing!
- change background colour
This would be absolutely amazing, making it easy and quick to create simple to complex templates specific to their needs and preferences.

Undo for deleting pages
Add deleting pages to the undo stack so that clicking undo right after deleting a page or pages, will bring them back.

Support PageUp and PageDown Buttons (on Macintosh extended Keyboards)
Unlike MacOS Preview GoodNotes for MacOS (version 5.4.14) does not seem to support navigation using PageUp and PageDown Buttons (on Macintosh extended Keyboards like with an iMac Pro). It would be good if GoodNotes for MacOS had a more intuitive navigation which would render it more seamless to migrate from Preview to GoodNotes. Thx.
