Options for DECREASING PDF SIZE
Please provide a way to decrease the size of the PDF's. I mark student work all the time sent to me from iOS devices - the only ones that I can not seem to decrease the size of using every technique in my arsenal are ones from GOODNOTES - inside I am saying, "BADNOTES, BADNOTES" - please fix this - thanks. For example the builtin DOC scanner in the iOS notes creates PDF's that are a very reasonable size. Thanks

Improve Curved Lines
Often times i'm trying to draw a curved line but it's changed to a straight line. Please improve recognition between curved and straight lines.

Landscape Canvas Size on iPad Pro
When do handwritten notes direct on a landscape oriented page (in big paper formats like A3) there is no room on the right to scroll out of the page, having enough space that my hand stays on the iPad so that I can continue writhing.
Example: When you use a horizontal A4 page and zoom in that you can straight write on the page you can move the page more and more to the right while you are filling the paper. Once you are reaching 2/3 of the page you can still continue scrolling right and there will be this…6 votes -

Ability to Zoom into flash cards when studying them.
I love the flash cards they are an amazing studying tool. But when studying them, I often feel the urge to zoom into my answers as they have diagrams. Also sometimes I need to fill in a lot of information on the flashcard which means I have to write small and when I do this, it’s really hard to see them in the study mode. It would be really helpful to be able to zoom in and out of the flash cards whilst studying them.

Zoom out/ in on a specific area instead of the whole page
If you've ever used procreate, you know what I'm referring to.
The zoom out / zoom in is an annoying aspect (I'm an avid Goodnotes user so I mean this without malicious intent) when trying to focus on a specific area of the page to write notes on. Let's say for example I am focusing on a diagram I'm drawing and want to zoom out on that specific area to only see my diagram and focus on that area, it's not possible; when zooming out, the whole page is zoomed out. 是否可以在工具栏加上一个锁定当前页面不可编辑的功能？因为页面长期处于可编辑状态很多时候在复习阅读笔记的时候会不小心触碰到里面的内容，有时还会误删一些东西或者不小心打乱了当前页面的排版。这样笔记还要从新编辑一下。如果有一个当前页面锁定功能就可以防止这些误操作。希望得到贵公司回复。谢谢。

Show MB size of each document in folder
The thing is:
I added some huge pdf files in Good Notes, then iCloud complained that it's almost full. So wanted to delete some documents, but I couldn't check which one is bigger.
So, just showing how big a documents is, maybe next to the date and time when last edited, would be just perfect. And probably one of the easiest features to add, I would assume.
And maybe also show the size of each folder?Would that be possible?

Windows and dropbox support
Hi I currently use an iOS app (Notebooks: writer) and am looking at your app as a replacement. It has many features that I like including folder/subfolder support. But there are two features that I need. Dropbox sync and Windows support, at least be able to read notes from Goodnotes on a Windows browser. From what I see these don’t seem to be provided, but would be happy if you could advise otherwise. Cheers Anton

STREAMLINE
Please add a type of "streamline" for each pen type that is adjustable so it would fit each individuals needs and wants.
It would improve handwriting which would prevent me from spending so much time during note taking to go back and rewrite things and it would make the notes that I do write much easier to read. It would make notes more aesthetically pleasing and legible which would save time. It is an easy win win win situation.47 votes -
Option for thicker pen weights.
Currently we are limited to 2mm max for pen weights which is simply too small for some projects.

Overwrite old export when doing new export to Google Drive
As a teacher, I use GoodNotes as a smart board and do work in class, I upload notes to Google Drive for students to see later. I continually upload notes as certain parts of a document. I would love if at the start I upload the note to Google Drive, and part way through the lesson I export again to Google Drive, that the orginal one in drive is overwritten so that the new one is there for students. This way I don't end up with 3-4 files with the same name and have different things in them and students…

Would love to see “insert image from Google search” added as a feature. It would save steps of opening a browser and copy/pasting or saving to files and then inserting.

Adjust the size of the eraser
There are three different sizes of erases to choose. It would be great to change the size, so that I can erase very small written things.

Zoom while cropping
Make it possible to zoom an image while cropping so that it can be cropped easier. Especially needed when the dimension of the rectangle I want to crop is very small.

Scan-Help + Papers for School
Hello!
I am teacher in a german elementary school and I am using my Ipad and GoodNotes at the digital Whiteboard. I really love it. Thanks! But I am really missing some features. I usually make a picture of my worksheets. It would be perfect, if there is a scan-help, that the worksheets look better (light, zoom, cut, distort...). The other thing is, that I need more papers like math-paper with edges, or lines for elementary school.

Preview Internal Links of PDFs
When reading a research paper, in-text references often link to the "References" section at the end of the paper, where the full reference is listed. It would be helpful to preview the linked part of the PDF to see the referenced paper without losing my current spot in the document. The attachment shows how this is implemented in the PDF reader of my computer.

Category shortcut
I just need “categories” shortcut button as in Goodnotes 4. This is THE MOST convenient thing that this app MUST HAVE. Many people have a lot of files and folders. We just want to reach to the file we want to use instantly when it pops in our head without tapping “back and back, and back, and back” over and over just to reach the main “Documents” page first. That’s why the Goodnotes 4 has advantage over Goodnotes 5.
