Page reversing order
As my notes expand to hundreds of pages, I think that having a reverse page view would be helpful to find the latest note without scrolling much.

Sizes
You should add the possibility to view files’ and folders’ sizes in the goodnotes app. Also, you could add pages counter to see the total amount of pages in a certain notebook and which page we’re viewing (page 15/20). Also, you could add the possibility of viewing on the home page the total amount of notebooks in the app.

Text box shortcuts
I love using this app to make my notes, i usually use the text box to write fast on a lecture
I think adding better shortcuts to the text box option may help to be more efficient while writting on class.

Stencil SVG Library
It would be very helpful to be able to import custom SVG stencil and shapes. Also the ability to store said Stencil's and shapes in a user defined Library.

Smooth scrolling with the magic keyboard up and down keys like in Safari.
When using the up and down keys on the magic keyboard for the iPad Pro, scrolling in Good Notes 5 has no smooth animation, but harsh stops. In Safari the scrolling animation is really smooth, and gives a more convenient experience when reading long documents.

Detect duplicated documents when adding a new one
When adding a new document (PDF) to Goodnotes, it would great to check if the document is not already in the library (Apple Books does that already).

Increase number of pen colors and highlighters to 5+
This feature is very limited and has become a nuisance as I write my notes. Notes and Nobility have this feature. Hopefully, this can be incorporated into the next update because this app is my go-to for schoolwork.

Improve the tab
It would be very helpful if you improve the tab option for example: The tabs which are opened out of one folder could be included in 1 Tab like a dropdown list. I have opened lots of pages at the same time From different folders.

While editing a note, sort the tabs at the top by the date they have been edited last time
While editing a note on my iPad, there is a row of tab's at the top showing other notebooks. I don't understand how those are sorted. Anyhow, I suggest to sort the tabs by the date when those documents have been edited last. This would be, IMO, the most useful sorting.

Pen to eraser problem
I’m a new user, so this might be a clarification request rather than a feature request, but I’m doing something that makes the tool switch randomly from pen to eraser. Is there a setting somewhere I can change to make it stop doing this? If I want the eraser I’ll pick the eraser.

Highlighters in dark paper
Also, making the highlighters brighter in dark paper? Like making it stay like when you are applying it? Or a bigger pen instead, to use that.

change the mouse cursor when the highligher is activated.
change the mouse cursor when the highligher is activated. When the highlighter is yellow, i can barely see it on the screen. Please change it to something more noticeable.

Lasso tool: better use of properties menu
For adjusting what should be selected with the lasso tool you always have to open a dropdown menu. This could be done with the property menu on the right. That would be faster and you would see directly, what the lasso tool is going to select before using it.

Turn text in any direction
I only can write Text from left to right but i need to spin the Text or Figures along lines in the Documents...

The copy and paste
When you copy and paste it paste incomplete because it doesn’t fit in the page and part of it is hidden, it can be better...

Scroll pages with page down and page up on a Mac
It would be nice being able to scroll pages with page up and page down in GoodNotes on a Mac, just like in any other document viewer.

Handwriting bold?(thickness?) control
First of all, i'm not good at English.
When I enlarge my handwriting, it also get bolder.
I want to make it only bigger, not bolder.My suggestion is to change the boldness? of my handwriting (like notability)

Magnifying Glass/ Reading tool
I have recently begun using the desktop version a lot more since my 4-year-old has effectively stolen my iPad. I love that I can use the app seamlessly between my devices. However, I have noticed that it is difficult for me, especially when using two windows of GoodNotes, to maintain a natural reading experience. I'm trying to take notes while reading a PDF imported to GoodNotes on the left and have my note-taking notebook open in a window on the right.
I would love a tool that allowed users to place their cursor within the text of a document and…

Save as Slide Deck
Create "slide" paper option. That creates a notebook where every page is a slide that can be exported as a slide show.

Double drawings made with the shapes tool
Please let the lasso tool have a double feature so complicated drawings don't have to be drawn again but just be copied and pasted or doubled. This feature would be a lifesaver for all the students!
