End-to-end encryption for document sync (even with manual transfer of the password)
To use GoodNotes in a company environment and to process confidential data, encryption of all data transfers is a must-have.
Use a standard strong crypto implementation to encrypt all data send via internet to BackUp or sync servers.
For me it is OK to enter the (strong) password on each device every time or to store it locally on the device. But the data on the external servers should be fully encrypted.
The system should be well documented and certified by external IT security experts.

Fullscreen Mode with annotate/writing option
It would be useful to be able to edit a document while being in fullscreen mode.
Having some kind of guesture or small button to toggle the fullscreen mode in that case would be great. As of now there always is a menu bar displayed on the top.43 votes -

ToDo List detection with reminder function.
ToDo List detection by e.g. Special syntax like a Date Time String and a Square Or a dedicated button with reminder function. I also Wolldecke pay for it additionally.

While using pencil finger acts as eraser
Since the iPad Pro differentiates between pencil and finger interaction why not while using the pencil allow the finger to erase. This would be very efficient for the users.

Add calendar for reminders, alerts, BFs related to each doc for follow up
Good notes doesn't provide the option to put a time/date reminder to each document so you can then follow up. Or, to include specific actions/reminders. Integrate a calendar.

internal links
Better organisation options through internal links!! When you have a lot of notes you don't want to be searching through hundreds of pages for the specific topic your looking for! I would love to be able to create an index where I click on the topic and it will take me there, like google docs does (one of my favourite features). Maybe different personalisation options side tabs like a binder and you can click them to go to the specified area (as a seperate option not instead of basic internal links). Accessible reading ruler
I love GoodNotes, and it's been a lifesaver with returning to grad school. I use it for all of my reading, which is all digitised this term, but as someone with a reading disorder, I would love if there was a way to turn on an accessible reading ruler, ideally with an adjustable size and colour overlay.

Google Chrome Extension
It would be great if you could add an extension for google chrome where by you can 'send' something to your GoodNotes ios app.
For example.
In am currently researching for a large essay. I use chrome on my PC and GoodNotes on my iPad Pro. I would LOVE to be able to look at a PDF, or a section of website and 'import' this into goodnotes in the same way you can do if using chrome on the iPad.

Custom pens
I like pens of a specific thickness because of my handwriting, but I find it a hassle to have to select my preferred pen size all the time (I feel the smallest default size is too big, so I like 1.0). I would like to be able to set some customized pens as “favorites” to be able to easily switch between them, similar to how we have some default pens. To add to this, I think adding textures to the pens to give it a traditional look would be great, along with a stabilizer setting to make our handwriting smoother.…

single finger erase
Hi!
Goodnotes is amazing, it transformed my ipad experience. The one gripe I have is that it is really cumbersome to switch between pen and eraser. I suggest that when the stylus is used, and "single finger drag" is turned off, I should be able to turn on "single finger erase". So write with stylus, erase with finger, drag with two fingers.
Hope this is a small and easy feature... I'd definitely pay for it!

2 pens instead of 1
I have a simple idea to provide to pen icons above because during the lecture while changing color of writing pen takes some time . Having 2 pens we dont need to open color menu again and again to select the color. We can do it just by tapping

Other sync options (Dropbox, Google, Box, etc..)
Other sync options (Dropbox, Google, Box, etc..) I have iCloud blocked by a policy installed so I can access my job email in the iPhone. This has completely restricted the sync option for me .. seems like a very good idea to give alternate syncing options for probably even more reasons than just this one that happened to me.

Calendar Integration Support
There's nothing more satisfying than having calendar templates that actually integrate with most common calendar formats (at least google calendar or Apple iCloud Calendar).
