希望能在大纲页面增加自定义大纲层级，否则所有的目录都平摊出来，看起来结构性不强，也不方便翻阅。

Shape tool should more easily adjust to standard shapes
In the latest update to Goodnotes, the shape tool doesn't easily create standard shapes, especially rectangles/squares. E.g., if the shape is drawn too quickly and the corner points are not even, the resulting shape is an irregular four-sided polygon instead of a rectangle with 90 deg corners and parallel sides. I would imagine the need for rectangles is much greater than irregular four-side polygons. Otherwise, fantastic product that I've recommended to anyone considering a tablet for note-taking.

Toolbar in zoom window in goodnotes 5
It would be great to have it as it was in goodnotes 4.
It aus uncomfortable to switch tools only in the upper toolbar while writing in the zoom window32 votes -
Please put the zoom window on the bottom when toolbar is set to bottom or put the whole tool bar on the zoom window
I like the toolbar at the bottom because it's easier to change between pen, eraser and highlighter like that. But, when the toolbar is set to bottom, the zoom window moves to the top of the screen, which is more or less unusable. Please keep the zoom window on the bottom or maybe put the full tool bar directly on the zoom window.

New Update
I know these are for a single complaint, however, the entire update is the issue and the app would be better reverted to the previous version.
This has been the worst update in a long time. First and foremost, the bookmark feature has been absolutely stripped on confidence and essentially ruined. Using the new text boxes is a nightmare - the new editing tool the sits next to the text box simply obstructs the document, is clunky, and makes editing the text boxes infinitely more difficult. Also, there is no longer the ability to use apple’s native ‘look up’ feature…

Also read images
Images and screenshots should also be read for text. Screenshots are often taken of slides and put into notes- but all of this information is excluded when searching words.

Make Highlight Align with Text Automatically
The current highlight tool adjusts its position based on how user draws the line. However, lines drawn manually may not perfectly align with text from the PDF file, so the inconsistent gaps between different highlights may look awkward and ugly.

Resizing images from corners
Currently resizing an image proportionally resizes from the centre. Often when trying to resize an image to the same size as an existing one it is convenient to line up from the corners, but as the resize feature stretches the image from the centre it becomes inaccurate and difficult to guess the relative size of images

It would be great to have pentagon, hexagon and other shapes recognized.

GoodNotes planner that connects to iOS or online calendar
Create an add in or separate app that looks and acts like a “Franklin Covey” paper planner, but is has the calendar entries from iOS or online calendars. The app would have the amazing handwriting capabilities and note taking options in addition to a planner.
There are beautifully designed digital planner templates made for GoodNotes, but I haven’t found one that actually is linked or can be linked to a native or online calendar. Would pay for this type of app.

forward and backward PDF link follow
The following are essential for reading and annotation of scientific papers that have a citation list and internal references:
Issue: Following an internal PPF link does not reach exact position in target page.
Feature request i: After following internal PPF link, highlight target line until next user input
Feature request ii: After following internal PDF link, show button to return to original position.

Lag while using Apple Pencil and the eraser tool
There is a noticeable lag while using the Apple Pencil as well as the rubber feature of this application. Goodnotes 5 is one of the innovative apps to bring some cool new features and customizable options, but this lag annoys me the most. The video is also posted where I show how the rubber tool lags.

Customizable paper size as well as unlimited canvas
I found GoodNotes to be very versatile even for doing wireframes for mobile design. Although with the ever changing sizes, it would be great if we can customize the size.
GoodNotes is also the most smooth note writing app I’ve used. It would be great to have an option for unlimited canvas so I can use it for larger brain storming sessions.31 votes -
Have an option to set the tool bar on the right/left position
Since we are writing with one hand (right or left) it is an obvious idea to give us ALL tools in the reach of the other hand. Come on, it’s not that hard to do this. :)

import from short videos
it would be very useful to be able to import short video in a notebook, an alternative would be the PDF import with embedded videos. is a feature planned for the future?

It would be great if we could post videos inside of documents and be able to click/play them. That would truly make Goodnotes a multidimensional learning tool.

Support drawing curves for mathematical function, i.e. by activating in the submenu.

Allow the Export to recognize and export the Bookmarks you have created in you GoodNotes .pdf
Maybe I am missing some setting or documentation, but I spend a lot of time marking up documents and bookmarking those notes, only to have the bookmarks not Export with the document. Frustrating.

Revert shape resize to what it was in the Goodnotes 6 version.
Now, when the shape snaps, you can't edit its dimensions by dragging your pen, it only resizes larger or smaller. This is an issue because I have to change the tool to the shape tool to change the dimensions, and this has a minimum width. Goodnotes 6 had a good system where the shape snapped and then you could drag your pen to change the width/height of the box rather than just scaling it up or down.
