Adding a keyboard shortcut for changing colors
I'm using a bluetooth keyboard with iPad when I'm writing and I find it really useful to change tools with keyboard shortcuts (instead of clicking the icons)! I think it would be better if you could also add a shortcuts for changing colors (for example command+1, command+2, command+3). I will really appreciate that and thanks in advance!

Two languages in one notebook
I am studying Spanish, and I usually write the English translation of vocabularies in my GoodNotes Notebook. But the notebook can only recognize one of the languages which are sometimes a bit chaotic when I am trying to look for particular vocabularies. Thanks.

The exported zip files are corrupt under certain circumstances (Goodnotes 5)
When exporting files to my dropbox from goodnotes 5, the zip file produced by goodnotes contains file names with erroneous characters, if the file names contain special characters like æ, ø and å particular to the Danish alphabet.
Unfortunately this renders your app unusuable in conjunction with the LMS that my employer (an upper secondary school) requires that I use for student exercise collection and correction. The students' names are included in all filenames, and quite many of them have names including æ, ø or å.

Snap highlighter to text
I use Preview on OS X and highlighting is a pleasure on it because you can just select the text you want to highlight in the PDF by clicking and dragging (like you normally select text in a computer).
Similarly, it will be extremely useful for me if the highlighter tool automatically snapped to the text in the document instead of working like a sort of painting tool that draws in a straight line above the text.

I would love this app even more if there are more brush styles and color feature because it's difficult to enter code # or multiple choosing color without entering code. And also more themes , voice recording, and catagories

Enhance shape recognition option by allowing users to choose from a popup list of standard flowcharting shapes
If the user hovers over the shape recognition icon in the tool bar at the top, a window pops up similar to what happens when you hover over the pencil or highlighter. In this window, the user can select "Shape Recognition" which is what we have today or they can select "Shape Pallet". Different pallets could then be selected for things like Flowcharting Shapes, "Architectural Shapes", "Furniture Shapes", etc. A feature like this would enable GoodNotes to morph into a very specific type of note taking tool based on the industry and unique requirements of the user.

Scan photos with enhancement before include to the file
I would like to know if you could add a function to scan the photos that we take like enhancing the image and cropping automatically (detecting the borders), it would be very useful. I use this app to take notes on the slides provided by the professors during the lectures, however sometimes they change some slide and I usually take a photo of the screen and I import it to my file but the quality is not the same if I use an app that scan images.

Drawing on text document
Following the recent update which added the text document, I think that users should be able to have the option of writing, drawing and highlighting on the page. For me my study method is typing out my lecture notes in OneNote and then exporting to Goodnotes to highlight and annotate. However, if I was able to do this with the text document feature, it would make things so much easier. Not just for me but other users also.

More settings for new feature of typing mode
I suggest you to absolutely add more settings for the new feature of typing mode, which allows users to write with pen and keyboard in the same page and in a better way.
But I think you should allow users to change font, space between lines, change font dimension, ecc., just like is already possible in text box!.Please do it for us, I think it will be great making your app more and more complete and competitive, without doubt.

bring old pen size curser on toolbar back
After the new update, we got the option to have more than 3 colours in our tool bar, but we lost the quick access to pen size curser because of that.
Definitely a downgrade.
Having to click on the little icon to change the size is so annoying and time consuming.
So please bring the old version back, where we can have our 3 pen sizes directly onto our toolbar.23 votes -

Scribble function on Apple Pencil (handwrite to text) autocorrecting capital letters
Using the Apple Pencil Scribble function to convert handwritten words to typed text in realtime works very well, but it automatically converts capital letters (particularly the first letter of a word that is meant to be capitalized) to lowercase letters. For example, writing “Energy” with a capital E changes the word to “energy” with lowercase e. It also underlines the autocorrected word in blue. Tapping or selecting the word underlined in blue gives no option to change it back to the intended capitalization. Show Date Created as well as Date Last Modified
This is not a major, groundbreaking change, but I think it’d be incredibly useful for some use cases if GoodNotes showed the date that notes were created as well as when they were last modified.
I often want to go back to notes that were created around a particular date, such as, say, November 2016. Once I make a change to an old note I currently have no way of knowing when it was originally created. I do a lot of planning that requires knowing when documents were created, which is making me regret having stored my docs in GoodNotes…

I wish your app could allow Video and Audio Recording and producing nice tutoring videos similar to what possible in Doceri.

Flashcard improvements
The following improvements would be great :)
- A display at the query when the flashcard will be queried again under the classification "Good" "Hard" "Easy" ( depending on the classified learning level for example: Hard= will be asked in two days, good= in four days)
- Display how many flashcards are requested
- Display how many flashcards have been queried
