Scan text in pictures in order to search more quickly
I want that when I insert images containing text, GoodNotes should be able to scan the text so that I can copy it and search the content more easily.

Mac edition cannot adjust the fontsize when you are in keyboard mode
When I use keyboard typed-in mode, I found there is no way to adjust the fontsize because it's too small.
But you can adjust the fontsize in iPad edition when you select the input words, it would pops out a toolbar

Default typing
「Save current text style from the toolbar as default」only available on text box. Please make it available on full page typing mode too~

Turn off spell check
The constant spell check nagging is going to drive me to remarkable. Spell check settings should be set at the user level not the notebook level. It especially should not be at the notebook level for each device.

Wacom For Goodnotes 6
Hi Goodnotes Team,
I’d like to request support for Wacom tablet integration in Goodnotes 6 on macOS — specifically for the Wacom Intuos Medium Bluetooth tablet. It would be incredibly helpful to have pen pressure sensitivity, palm rejection, and support for the ExpressKeys on macOS, similar to the seamless experience you’ve built for Apple Pencil on iPad.
This would make the app significantly more usable for students, educators, and professionals who use drawing tablets for handwritten notes and diagrams on Mac.
Thank you for considering this — I truly believe it would make Goodnotes even more powerful across platforms.

Hand tool
I am using goodnotes on mac with graphics tablet. It seems to me that adding hand tool would be really nice. It would let you scroll over your notes without touching mouse.
P. S. Now I cant even use scrollbar, because it just doesn't appear after hovering your mouse1 vote -
I want to edit original documents on google drive between windos and iOS.
I want the original document files on Google Drive to be accessible seamlessly from Windows and iOS. I don't want to use shared URLs or iCloud!

copy paste
Copy/Paste tool selection synchronization in split screen mode: when in split screen mode, using the copy/screenshot function tool in one document would automatically select the lasso tool in the other document, allowing easier copy and paste between split screens without having to select the lasso tool in both documents.

Zoom Window Auto Advance
When using the Zoom Window in addition the Auto Advance having the blue box on the left side of the screen is quite inefficient. I have been a long time of user (3 years+) and I have always thought that enabling the choice for the Blue Auto Advance Box to be either on the left or right would be HIGHLY useful!

Latex editor for math conversion
"We need an integrated LaTeX editor, allowing for a combination of text and LaTeX boxes. Additionally, it should have a comprehensive LaTeX library, and ideally, apps like GoodNotes should offer math and chemistry keyboards."

ノートの作成時は罫線やドットを選択できますが、PDFや読み込んだ画像には選択できません。
表示のオンオフが可能かつノート自体のテンプレートには干渉しないグリッド線があれば、書き込みがさらに快適になると思います。

Add a setting that allows users to adjust the size of Thumbnails
Hi team
I use GoodNotes like a Trapper Keeper from the 80’s so I have a lot of notebooks with dividers.
However, when I am looking at all my thumbnails (especially in Split View) they seem too small when i’m using my iPad Pro 11”. See the attachment.
It would be really useful if there was a setting ora pinch to zoom feature so that the thumbnails could be made bigger.

Highlight Tool in Typing Mode
The new typing mode in GN6 has significantly enhanced its versatility. It would be even better if a highlight tool could be added to the typing mode, allowing users to directly apply highlights to text while typing.

Double-Tap to Switch Line Styles
It would be great to have a feature where double-tapping on the pen thickness icon lets users seamlessly toggle between line styles, such as solid, dashed and dotted. Instead of having to open the context menu.
