More than iPad
I am thinking of leaving apple for windows or android tablets. I would miss this app & hope you give access to those who leave the cult of apple.

Insert/copy image to comment
It would be great if we can insert images to the comment box just like text.

Being able to write with a pencil will increase your imagination
We have traditionally written with paper and pencil.
If we can create the unique texture of a pencil with this wonderful app, we believe that the role of the notebook as a canvas will increase even further.2 votes -
We need end-to-end encryption of our notes! Please allow us to use Cryptomator
Cryptomator allows users to sync data on whatever cloud service they want. It is end-to-end encrypted.
iCloud, One Drive, Dropbox, etc. are not secure. These tech companies can decrypt user data at will.
This is why Good Notes needs to support users being able to sync to different locations within settings, so that users can point their sync to a Cryptomator vault to protect their data.

Highlight in a straight line between two points
This will help those of us who can't draw a straight line. The function would work by tapping two points, then everything would be highlighted in between and would default to a straight line in a horizontal, or vertical manner.

Removal of page addition confirmation window
With the recent update, a pop-up window started to appear whenever I drag my GoodNote note to add a page. This new change is extremely uncomfortable whenever I am in a rush to write down professors' comments. Please remove this feature ASAP.

glitch
There is a glitch when I am using my IPad air and writing notes. White blocks appear covering the content when I am zooming into the notes. I didn't pay good money to get these weird glitches.

Serbian
I hope to support the conversion of handwritten texts in Serbian (Latin and Cyrillic). This is very helpful for our students studying small languages, thank you!

Easily divisible grids!
The number of grid spaces vertically (# of columns) should be a mutiple of 6 (or 12 would be even better). That way we can use it to divide our notes into however many columns as we see fit!

More math tools and calculate handwritten calculations
I would love to see more math tools in general, since I know many people who use GoodNotes for Maths and Pyhsics. It would be nice if this would made the app more accessible for those students, not only for the „typical Medicine student GoodNotes user“.
Besides all the math tools, a feature of an inbuilt calculator, which can calculate your hand written calculations would be fantastic!
The App „MyScript Calculator“ is a great example for this feature.
Thanks for considering my feature request.55 votes -
Overall Text Function
I think that overall, good notes is excellent. However, I tend to have difficulties in accessibility between my devices and when trying to type on one device and write on the other. Sometimes my laptop won't even let me type and I will have to completely shut down the app and start it up again, losing my progress at times. It is incredibly frustrating and I wish it could be easier to use when I want to switch from handwriting to text. Also, bullet points!

Editing options for text box
- Select handwritten text and convert it directly to typed format.
- Convert objects (Text) as separate entities/objects
- Allow selection and movement of text similar to handwritten notes (where you can lasso a letter, word, sentence, or paragraph and move only that section as opposed to the whole text box

Enhancing renaming user experience
Renaming notes while it's open became an issue after the last iPad OS update. Most of the time it opens multiple tab-opening options. It will be great if GoodNotes align their renaming option a bit far from those three horizontal dots.

Line input smoothing
Have a feature similar to photoshop, where you can adjust the smoothing of your lines. This would make drawing shapes and diagrams easier, also make handwriting notes easier for those with a shaky hand.
For both iPad and Mac please

The questions tab - for active recall & spaced repetition
The flash card feature is great. Improving on that I would suggest questions tab. It is basically a feature linked with Highlighter. When we read a PDF document we mark important lines with the Highlighter. The new feature let's you add a question to the highlited segment and the question is displayed on the side. When revision of the topic is required and flashcard or in this case questions revision tab is activated the highlited portion (I.e. The answer to the question) should be opaque and the reviewer needs to attempt questions like a flash card. Based on his satisfaction…

Moving pages within the same document
When you want to move pages within the same document you have to click on it and scroll through the thumbnail until you get it to where you would like to move it. I think there should be an option to type in the page number you would like to move it to, and then the page that is already located on that page number automatically moves below the newly moved page.

Change color of highlighter not working correctly my
If I use a highlighter and then lasso the highlighter then chose “color” from the context menu it shows my colors for the drawing tool. It should show me colors associated with the highlighter tool.

edit curved line angles, not just points
I would like to be able to change the angle at the end of a curved line and not just the position of the end point. I used to have a similar tool in Adobe Illustrator. I find myself often wishing for something similar in GoodNotes. I would be able to draw a wider range of curves and I do not think it would be so difficult to implement. In addition to the small square icon that one can reposition, I would add a kind of thin line (directed like the tangent of the curve at the "square" point with,…
