Make annotations on epub format documents and export them as pdfs
Hello:
As you may know, in education epub formarts are very useful to make digital and shareable content between student's and teachers and to make projects in wich studen's can learn and express theirselves creatively. The issue is that there ain't no very useful apps to make annotations or to grade these kind of assignmets. Could you please consider this suggestion?

FIX KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
Please fix “keyboard shorcuts” while in text mode. Goodnotes for some weird reason only makes you select a letter to switch between tools instead of “ command and the letter. So when trying to type on a external keyboard i cant type a P,E,H,S,L,I,C,or T with out it completely switching tools and existing out of typing mode. I feel like this is pretty big oversite and is unfortunately the only reason i have to us notability over good notes when typing at times. I can understand if this is a mac feature but as far as an ipad goes its…

Some tips and ideas regarding desirable features.
- Different/flexible colour palates
- Ruler and compass
- Dashed Lines
- Ability to hide navigation panel at the top
- More templates e.g. dark not grey templates
- Ability to move the sidebar to the right
- More pen styles.
- Password for folders
- Videos Support
These are specifically aimed for the MacOS version of GoodNotes5.

Replace an image
Tapping on an already imported image and being able to replace it with another one, without having to import a new one, with messed up size and not arranged like the one we’d like to update/change.

Choppy scrolling on secondary monitor
I would love support for secondary monitor scrolling. As of now when I have my 4k secondary monitor in portrait or landscape mode the scrolling is very choppy that makes it near impossible to use. If I have my sidebar up it seems to run a little smoother but not well enough for practical use so as of now I always keep my sidebar up and choose the page rather than scrolling.

Elements/shapes & Screenshot Optimization
At the moment if you want to add an element in the library if the object in question was not created by hand, you need first to make a screeshot and then add the element. This can be relatively time consuming if you want to bulk create them, since making a screeshoot is a three step process (take screenshot -> Select export -> copy )
An alternative would be to either or both:
* add an element directly as an image by selecting a portion of the document
* or by adding an instant snapshot feature to copy the area…2 votes -
Page template: plain text for code
Right now text is entered through boxes. This makes sense for regular note taking, but I think programmers would benefit from having a page type that aligns all the text to the page as plain text files do, and have this page extend vertically for at least a hundred lines.
Allow for drawings and normal text editing, just have this page be friendlier to coding students and programming notes (also have a monospaced font as default for these).
A huge bonus would be numbered lines and/or switching to a comment text color through a shortcut (e.g. pressing "/" twice if…

Presentation mode without external screen
If I'm using Zoom on my iPad, I can't use presentation mode. I have to do Zoom on a computer and share the iPad to the computer via AirPlay or Reflector to get the presentation mode. It would be nice if I could get the presentation mode when doing Zoom through the Zoom app on the iPad.

undo imported pages
Useful if someone import pages wrongly.
Say I want to import a 300-page pdf file into a new file, but I mistakenly chose to import it into the current file. It would be convenient if there was an undo button to delete those new pages in the current file.

Move and rotate paper freely for Left Handed writers.
I'm left-handed, I cannot physically write on the left side of the screen like the whole left third is uncomfortable to write on as the edge of my iPad gets in the way. The inability to move the page around freely beyond frustrating - It doesn't let me move the left-hand side of the page to the middle of the screen so a lot of the time I have to write something on the right-hand side and use the lasso tool to move it to the left.

[requirements]:combination and splitting
hope to make a function that can combine any element just like the function in WORD of MS office. So that users can make their own complex object such as table with lines and text box, complex shape with many circles and rectangles. if users can combine and split all elements freely, we can make our document better and edit it more easily

It’d be very helpful if new pages could be added at arbitrary locations. In fact, I find it unusual that this option is not already available

Bug report - Crashing in split screen mode
When in split-screen mode, with iBooks on the left half and goodnotes5 on the right, when changing pen colour and thickness very often, the app will crash

FlipChart + Chisel tip
I’ll be teaching first aid classes soon and we used tons of FlipCharts & chisel tip pens when we learned how to teach them. I’d like to use what I learned in class to teach and use my iPad at the same time. I‘ve been using GoodNotes for a while now and I really think a Chiseltip feature and maybe a FlipChart-esque template would really improve the app

Paperlike sound when using/writing with apple pencil
Hello,
Do you know while writing with Samsung pencil, it makes sound like writing on paper. I thought this feature might have to do apple updates, but recently, while using ‘Lake’ app, they added this feature that when you use brush, it will make sound like you are using it on paper. It gives overall such a nice feel.
I do not want to use paperlike because it deteriorate screen appearance but what I do love is the sound of writing on paper. Please please add this feature. If ‘Lake’ people can do it, you too can.

Make the flashcards fullscreen and ability to move the line dividing the Question and Answers up and down
Currently flashcards aren't full screen so the answers look very tiny
Also please add the ability to move the line dividing the Question and Answers up and down cause some answers are too big to fit in that small space

pitch black "dark" paper please!
The black paper on GoodNotes is "black" but it's not PITCH BLACK. I find that my notes pop out and look better with a pitch black paper, I'm so sad the GoodNotes "black" version is more of a dark gray.
I love the variety of colors offered by GoodNotes but I keep going back to Notability because their paper is darker and I'm able to actually use the highlighters (and have them pop) .
Please please provide true black paper that's compatible with highlighters! The highlighters do show, but they are not bright and get lost in the grayness of…10 votes -
Apple Pencil 2 bug
Apple Pencil 2 often randomly automatically changes to eraser even when I do not double tap. I have noticed this very clearly and happens quite often.I haven’t faced this issue with other note taking apps.
