"Mark as read" option for texts in GoodNotes
It would be very helpful if there was a "mark as read" option in GoodNotes, especially when you have a lot of texts to be read so you can see at a glance which ones you have read and which ones are still to be read. Currently, I am using the "tick emoji" in the document name which is an alternative but being able to actually tick off documents and mark them as read would be so helpful!

Continuous Scrolling for Horizontal Scrolling Direction
Currently, you can scroll smoothly or continuously if your Scrolling Direction is Vertical. However, if your Scrolling Direction is set to Horizontal, you have to flip through each page one at a time.
Allowing for continuous horizontal scrolling would be ideal for my work.

Same page collaboration feature
The collaboration feature is great! But will be even better if there is a function where all parties can look at the same page, instead of people looking and editing different pages.

Using mouse cursor to select words.
In some pdf, the words are well formatted. Therefore, I thought it would be much easier for us to use mouse cursor or trackpad to select the word for copy and paste or translation.

In favorites, there is no way to tell the location of a document.
Suggestion: in the options menu (per document), there should be an option to see the location and go to original folder.

Being able to write even in presentation mode with invisible toolbar
It would be useful to being able to write in a document even with the toolbar being invisible. This had the effect that the whole page being visible would be bigger as it fills the whole iPad screen.
Maybe you could create some kind of „mini toolbar“ in pop-up style that could be used in this mode.18 votes -
Allow undo when remove a document from favorites
Sometimes I accidentally click on the star on a document from my favorites and it immediately removes it from the list.
Please add a toast message to allow undo for this operation.

Ability to add sticky notes in a document
In documents packed full with words, it would be really helpful to be able to add sticky notes to annotate. They do not have to be uploaded to the PDF when exported, but I just wanted an option to add a small space to write next to the documents.

Gestures for Undo & Redo: two finger tap for undo, three finger tap for redo
These gestures are used in the app Procreate and they are very convenient. They make the workflow feel much faster and more fluid. Also, they have become standard gestures for performing the undo & redo functions in many apps.

More pens, highlighters, color palettes, and change erasing
Please add in more pens and highlighter options like rectangle or round end. Also, please add in color palettes to the pens and highlighters in case we want to design our notes in a certain color scheme. Also the eraser is annoying so please change it to erase pixels.

Text box tool is currently a weak link
The text box tool NEEDS to default to a font size and line spacing/placement that works with the default template line widths. Obviously the app focusses on nailing handwriting, but its occasionally useful to drop in a quote from another app or throw in some hastily-typed notes -especially on the Mac app. Microsoft OneNote is pretty bloated, but it gets typing within a space right. I’d encourage you fine folks to look into more advanced text boxes and tools like bullets/numbers, tables, maybe markdown? -especially as ipad keyboard/mouse setups are becoming more common. resize
Please make corner focused resizing to be an option for pictures and shapes. Resizing them to fit exactly in what I want is a nightmare because it is center focused, and the entire pic/shape changes.

change paget template of entire notebook, after writing's already there
I often print my notes once im done with a unit and because i write on graph paper i have to change the pages back to blank individually which is really tedious. A feature in which you could change the template of the entire notebook would be really useful.

4 Tabs loaded at the same time / Let Goodnotes use more RAM
Hello,
I´m one of the new M1 Ipad Pro user´s and the new Ipad has 8GB of Ram (or 16) and the goodnotes app still can´t have 4 tabs loaded at the same time.If I have 3 Tabs open I can swap between them without them loading again but if I open a fourth tab every other tab needs to reload again and that shouldn´t be the case since the new Ipad has way more RAM and so goodnotes should make us of that

Es wäre super, wenn man in Goodnotes Links einfügen könnte und diese dann auch mit dem Hyperlink verbunden wären. Gerade bei Zusammenfassungen könnte man so die Quelle verlinken.

Have Go to Page default to last page
I'm often reviewing older notes on previous pages, then scrolling back to the last page. It would be nice to have a button dedicated to the last page of the notebook so getting there is easier. The Go to Page feature on the more button is close, but it defaults to the page you're currently on, which doesn't make a lot of sense. What if it defaulted to the last page instead? This seems like the far more likely use case and would be a simple fix

Setting handwritten header as file name instead of 'Untitled'
Recognize handwritten header and set or suggest it as the filename, so i don't have a pile of 'Untitled' documents in my library. Just a little convenience feature.

Copy in GoodNotes 5 is very slowwwww.
When you're trying to copy anything on GoodNotes 5 by selecting on the lasso tool and select copy. It "always" take a few moments to load, even though the item size is very small. I don't understand why I need to wait for the program to load every time. It's very annoying!
Ps. GoodNotes 4 and Notability do not have this problem. When I'm trying to copy, it processes instantaneously.3 votes -
Align paper freely
Hey there,
I am using Good Notes 5 since about one week.
I'm left handed and I'm asking myself if it's possible to freely align the paper.
I would like to put it more to the right side of my iPad in order to write better.Is it possible to freely put the paper wherever you want? At the moment it sticks to the middle of the iPad.
