While writing sometimes happens that the zoom goes back

Ability to zoom in on elements within the preview pane.
I have sets of text that I add to elements for quick grab, just difficult to differentiate without the ability to zoom in or name the individual elements.

Animated GIF Support
It would be amazing to have this feature as it's the only thing keeping me from using GoodNotes and not Notability. I'd switch to GoodNotes in a heartbeat if GIFs were supported. Please make it a thing! 🙏

Text tool in Windows Goodnotes.
I've been loving Goodnotes on my ipad, one of my favourites of all time. On my PC it's pretty useless for now tho. Knowing it's still in beta, I would like to put my request to prioritize developing writing tool in Windows version. Like on IOS devices you can click on text tool and start typing, I would love to see that feature available for desktop users. Anyways, love to see the app evolving.

Introduction of Colour options for ‘highlight’ button for selected texts in Goodnotes imported PDFs rather than the default yellow colour
The current version of GoodNotes (5.9.106) uses the default highlighter colour of yellow when highlighting selected text with the "highlight" button in PDFs imported to Goodnotes. It would be great if GoodNotes could provide us options of highlight colour then and there only (just like Apple default PDF reader), as it becomes tedious to select the text using lasso tool and then change the colour. Also, the pdf reading experience will be even worse for people not having an Apple pencil, as the highlight button is a far more accurate method of making crisp, accurate highlights than using finger or…

Request for Enhanced Pen Formatting Features in GoodNotes Application
I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for the GoodNotes application that you have developed. It has been tremendously helpful in my daily studies and work, providing an excellent and convenient platform for recording and organizing my thoughts.
While I am satisfied with many features of GoodNotes, there is a particular function that I believe could further enhance the application if incorporated. Refresh Button for iCloud
iCloud sync is very slow and usually doesn't work. It takes too long to leave the document that I am currently in to find the iCloud settings on the main page. If iCloud sync can't be fixed and made more efficient then it would at least be helpful to add a sync button somewhere within the document editing page to speed up the process for users

GoodNotes for Windows and Linux
I saw that the Windows app beta has been released, I downloaded it and I saw that it is a webapp "hosted" by microsoft edge. I advise you to consider developing the app using Node.js and Electron.js, a fantastic library for creating webapps with HTML, CSS and Javascript. It can also be compiled for windows and all linux distributions. I hope this advice has been useful for the development of this fantastic app. It would be great having GoodNotes even on Linux!

Allow freestyle zooming in/out for both landscape & portrait
On iPadOS, one can zoom out beyond the margins of the given page while in landscape mode. However, the page remains centred and it is quite irking when I am trying to write something near the far right edge. This is exacerbated tenfold in portrait mode; you can’t really zoom out at all, making it incredibly frustrating when writing to the right edge.

Dashed Curves
Dashed lines and curves would be great. I often find myself needing to draw a dashed line in graphs, or in hidden sides of 3d shapes. It’s a must in a note taking app. The implementation of this feature shouldn’t be a challenge for any programmer, especially as it’s already exists in Goodnotes 5 code. For example, the dashed curved in the Lasso tool, or the way Goodnotes 5 draws shapes. Remove automatic date appendum to file names
We move files between users and folders. Each time a user opens a GoodNotes file and exports it with his her changes, a date stamp is added to the file name. This feature forces our team to manually rename the file to its original file name, I.e. remove the date stamp.
