Share audio recording
I like the new feature very much which is the audio recording but it will be more helpful if we can add the audio file from other voice recording app or if web are transferring from the notability it will be easier to just drop the audio or the whole note with audio being shared to goodnotes.

Lineal Option für GoodNotes 5
Es wäre sehr sinnvoll, wenn GoodNotes 5 eine Funktionalität hätte, um ein Lineal oder ein Geodreieck welches man in der Größe und Länge verändern kann zu nutzen, für Mathematik in der Schule wäre es sicherlich sehr nützlich.

Move around pages using left and right arrows on keyboard
I use goodnotes as my main PDF viewer, however whenever I want to navigate a Math book it is really long and tidious because there are hundreds of pages, and scrolling when there are no chapters to the PDF is really long and frustrating.
That's why I suggest changing pages using left and arrow keys on keyboard as a fix to this.
I think this is a reasonable solution as it should not be too hard to implement. Thank you.

Create a type of page or note which lets users type without having to select the typing tool.
Sometimes, I would like to type in good notes. I dislike the text box function because it is so annoying to use. I have to expand the boxes to a certain size in order to not have my words hitting the bottom of the page every time I use the function. Instead I would love to see a separate type of page or note which lets you type instantly without having to use the function, as seen in apple notes. Please consider!

Saving notes as ‘untitled’
Hello there. I would love if good notes allowed me to save my quick notes as untitled or untitled (1) instead of choosing a name for it. I always make small notes very quickly between lessons. It’s difficult to name every note I create.

Delete large files // reduce size of database
I love GoodNotes and have been using it for several years. I also use GoodNotes for workshops and presentations. Therefore, I've got many large PDF's in the database.
My problem is, that the GoodNotes database (synchronized with iCloud) already has more than 26 GB. This fills up both my iPad and my Mac.
I'd love the functionality to be able to view and sort all files by size (without folders), check the largest files, and delete them in a bulk action. This would really help!
I assume that other passionate GoodNotes users have the same problem.

Pasting/inserting images directly from clipboard
We are already able to copy an image to clipboard with the lasso tool.
Would be great if we could insert that image directly from clipboard without saving it to photos which will not create junks in the photos. A pretty small idea but an efficient one3 votes -
Bring Back the Favourite Button!
It's really important for quickly adding and removing pages to the favourite list and to have a visual indicator of which pages are already favourited.

Bring back the "add page to favorite" button.
I use it very often and now I have to go over the dotted menü and don`t see the current status.

Farbige Gestaltung der Ordner - Icons
Mir gefällt an GoodNotes sehr, dass man das Cover des Notizbuches selbst gestalten kann.
Für die Struktur arbeite ich jedoch lieber mit den Ordnern.
Deshalb wünsche ich mir, dass man die Icons der Ordner ebenfalls selbst gestalten könnte oder zumindest in verschiedenen Farben wählen könnte.—————————

However, I prefer to work with the folders for the structure.

Typing on the desktop/Mac version needs improvement
Some improvements need to be made to the Mac version of GoodNotes 5. The biggest aspect that needs improvement is the text/typing function. It would be amazing if the app had a processor similar to MS Word or Google Docs. Even at the basic level- having the ability to choose between a text box vs no text box (so having page parameters), automatically typing to the next line, being able to type on the lines of a page template without having to adjust the text box. GoodNotes for macOS is Awful
GoodNotes for Mac used to be great before they switched to Catalyst. These problems have persisted for years and keeps getting worse.
Problems:
- Can't print notes with images - None of the images actually print out, just blank space. This sucks when you make your notes in GoodNotes and want to print them out to prepare for lecture.Can't drag-and-drop images anymore. No pasting from a Word document, or cut/paste from Preview.
Importing an image comes in with weird sizing
Crop tool is missing when right clicking on images and it depends on the type of image format

Leider vermisse ich die Funktion, dass man einzelne Notizbücher mit einem Passwort oder ähnlichem schützen kann.
Oder, für mehrere Benutzer entsprechende Passagen Passwort schützen. Für diesen Preis sollte es möglich sein. Des weiteren vermisse ich noch eine Terminierungsfunktion. Dies ist gerade für die Zusammenarbeit mit mehreren Personen sehr wichtig, um Folgeabläufe steuern zu können. Ein direktes umwandeln von Handschriften in Maschinenschrift wäre auch noch sehr von Vorteil. Leider reagiert hier der Support nicht!
