Add text box to PDF
Please add text option to PDF. Microsoft One Note allows drawing and text typing. Please do the same for cleaner notes option which allows mobile users to also add emojis from keyboard!

Auto text size according to the page template(for writing with keyboard)
A huge disadvantage that I find in GoodNotes that while i use the "Ruled Narrow" page template while using my iPad keyboard, the text isn't always matched with the lines in the page template.
The best things will be if the application will automatically determine the size of the text so the user who uses keyboard will be able to write exactly between the lines in the page template.
Obviously, while writing text the app should also support the auto counting as it is in all the other applications.(wether Microsoft Word or Notability)

When taking a screenshot with the lasso tool, give the option to create an element directly, instead of having to save the image in the camera roll and then import it back.

Favourite pen style bar just like in the notability
I will use different pen style when taking notes in class. I need to switch very quickly. But Goodnotes only can quick switch 3 colours which is not enough.

Default new page template will be the same as previous page
New option, if enabled, default new page template will be the same as previous page. Don't ask me again and again.

Continuous writing on pages
When you finish writing on a page, it automatically goes to the next page. If you are writing and then go back and add something, it currently disappears off the bottom of the page. Notability is AMAZING for this...... Catch up goodnotes.

Multiple User Profiles
Be able to create and switch between multiple user profiles. For example, you could have a profile for personal notes and another for your classes.
Alternatively: include options in universal search to restrict results to only notes within certain folders. Offer more search filters. This would essentially achieve the same result as separating notes/folders by profile

About Tool bar
Good notes is one of the most frequently used app in my medicine department for taking notes etc. but tool bar on good notes is very large & space consuming , If good notes team make this tool bar smaller less space consuming it will improve writing experience and give more room for writing things

Allow adding images or icons to folder.
For documents we can easily add an image as first page and it will show up as icon. Plz add something simillar for folders as well. It will be very useful for easier Navigation

Being able to share link of notes with non-goodnotes users
Not all students are goodnotes/apple users. As teachers we should get the opportunity to share link with people so that changes made to that document gets uodated via that link. We don't have to export documents multiple times.

Suggestion for the pen cursor on GoodNotes 5 for Mac
It could be good that if the pen cursor of GoodNoted 5 for Mac is changed to the cursor in OneNote (simply a small dot instead of a cross).

Option to start the app without opening any notes
Currently, as soon as the GoodNotes is launched, it always opens the note that was last worked on. This is even if all notes were closed before the app was closed.
I would like to see an option that allows GoodNotes to start in the last case described so that none of the existing notes are opened (and the user gets to see the document overview instead).

Lasso tool shouldn’t expand contents
When I want to lay out small handwriting and details on a page, the lasso tool expanding the size of my selection makes it harder to place the contents in the exact right place. I want to be able to get it exactly right, I can’t imagine a single situation where the zooming in/expanding thing it does would be useful. If the text was big enough for me to select it, I do not need it to grow and get more confusing. Please turn off that feature.
