Scan handwritten notes
I’d like for Goodnotes to have the ability to scan handwritten text on paper and copy into Goodnotes pages. For instance, using Goodnotes to take a picture scan of handwritten notes in a notebook, and turning that scan into a handwritten page in an existing or new document in Goodnotes. I often find that I don’t always have my iPad with me, and may need to jot something down on paper quickly. Being able to import these notes as something other than pictured would be an amazing feature and time-saver.

Add popup note function
I need to read lots of PDF documents for my work. However every page of PDF document is always occupied by tons of words and almost no empty space for making handwriting note because it needs lots of space.
I switch to GoodNotes from GoodReader, and I really need this function, if what I described is not clear enough, please check the screenshot I upload.

Sketchnoting academy
Hi Guys,
Firstsly i absolutny love Your app. There is so much that it can be used for or more.
But having to work in remotely so much now ones does realise that graphic representation of a meeting or an idea, design or a product is the best notes ever.
Thus I started learning sketchnoting. There is no app for it yet, there are books of course, and most people would choose the paper and pencil. But we in digital product design prefer apps. I see this as part of GoodNotes.You show so much with sketchnotes as capabilities of…

4 Tabs loaded at the same time / Let Goodnotes use more RAM
Hello,
I´m one of the new M1 Ipad Pro user´s and the new Ipad has 8GB of Ram (or 16) and the goodnotes app still can´t have 4 tabs loaded at the same time.If I have 3 Tabs open I can swap between them without them loading again but if I open a fourth tab every other tab needs to reload again and that shouldn´t be the case since the new Ipad has way more RAM and so goodnotes should make us of that

Touch feature
Would you be able to create a “touch” feature icon so that it supports hotlinks on pdf?
I have hotlinks in my content page of my pdf to navigate to the correct pages, one click and i jump straight to the page instead of flipping through 30 pages.

ADD SIDEBAR SIMILAR TO NOTES APP ON IOS
It would be so much easier to maneuver between notes if there was a sidebar present at the side (that you could hide/show so as not to impede on work flow) and it would show all your folders and the notes in the corresponding folders.
So if you needed a specific document all you have to do is tap the side or swipe left and you'll find all your folders ready to go! bam bam bam!

In Quick notes, always start with pen
As someone that's desperate to start jotting notes, I want to start writing asap. Currently, the quick note starts with the last tool you used. So if it's eraser it's quite annoying.

Add voice notes or record in GoodNotes.
First , I chooses GoodNotes but when i when I know the two things about Noteshelf is that-
1) we can recor d and also import voice record from file and also we can manage on page where we need .
2) and also individual file lock
Really this attract me and I switched on Noteshelf..If GoodNotes also add this feature in his app then it will be great.
Please review this feature, I also attached this in comments

I want to manage the files that are saved on my icloud manually
Since i only have limited size of icloud but i still want to sync just in case to use the collaborative function, i don’t want my entire GoodNotes files to by on my icloud and interfere the collaboration because the icloud is full.

Infinty long pages
Dear GoodNotes team,
I really love your app. I’m a student who started using an iPad for school stuff during the pandemic. Since i started using GoodNotes i fell in love with the powerfull simplicity of the app. There is just one feature i would love to see added.
I would really enjoy the option to create pages who are as long as I’d like them to be. My idea is a pages that can fit a whole topic and you never painfully have to tun pages during writing. Once you are done with the entry you can cut of…2 votes -

Auto PDF backup (with headings)
I love the auto-backup feature. However, I find it annoying that it doesn't upload my custom headings. If I want to do so, I shall upload every pdf manually.

The paste keyboard shortcut is not activated(command + V).
