Trashing pages in favorites not working as expected
Good Notes 5 doesn’t allow you to select all bookmarked pages in Favorites and trash them. See attached video. You can trash all but one page. Otherwise you get a pop-up warning message.
Please provide a Select All button and allow a quick way to Trash all

Goodnotes for linux
Goodnotes for linux :
why this is a good idea and takes less time to implement compared to windows: since mac os is unix based it should be easy enough to release a linux version. it will benefit computer science, electrical and others( who need linux) students and professionals who need to run linux (start with an ubuntu version) on their computers. It will especially help programmers to trouble-shoot code as thought its done on paper-using an ipad using icloud or google drive

Read only / Edit mode keyboard shortcut
A keyboard shortcut to toggle between read-only and edit modes. (⌘R perhaps?)
For both the Mac and iPad versions
I use a planner with hyperlinks and frequently have to toggle between the two modes, as the hyperlinks are easier to use in Read-only mode

Resize / Scale template
Any template, for any screen size, should be resizable. I.e. instead of "Ruled Narrow" or "Ruled Wide" There should be one "Ruled" with the option to change to whatever size / scale I wish.
This is especially important for the sheet music template which are too small for writing. (At least on my ipad)

Cursor on Mac app
When zoomed out, the cursor for the pen becomes a plus sign, which is not very easy to write with... It would be easier if the cursor were just a dot when zoomed in or when zoomed out.

Auto Zoom in the Mac app
Please add the auto-advance feature on the Mac app too, because it is quite useful but available only on GoodNotes 5 for iOS.

Overlay note like a real bookmark
Would be great, if you can create a bookmark, which you can write on and slide in like a real book mark in a journal.
Check Video 12 on the following page.

Interactive buttons
introduce support for interactive buttons which are embedded into pdf. Hyperlinks already work great. interactive buttons would make it perfect for journaling

Flashcards reminder and automatic query
It would be good if you are reminded when the flashcards are due and then an automatic query is made. So far, at the end of a learning session, it says when you should come back to learn the flashcards. However, if you want to study the vocabulary on that day, it says another day because it assumes you have already studied the vocabulary. So you have to press "Study again", although the flashcards have not been learned on that day.

Duplicate handwritten notes
It would be much faster to be able to duplicate handwritten notes (like in Notability) instead of having to copy and paste it every time.
In my opinion, it would speed up the process of note taking!23 votes -

The third pencil type is a "Pinselstift" which reacts to pressure. Please add this feature for the eraser.

Highlighting on main text when window tool is open
During lectures ... when the speaker is going over an outline and speaking I want to use the window tool to write my own notes, but be able to only switch my pen to a highlighter and highlight the outline without closing the window tool so I can quickly switch back to my pen and not lose the location of my window tool and where I was writhing my notes. I would use this all the time but I’ve had to switch back and forth from x-ing out of the window tool then highlighting my outline then re-opening the window…

MacOS version: Resume from last worked on document.
Once starting GoodNotes, it'd be nice to have the last document you worked on opened instead of starting from the folder selection screen every time. I have to click through multiple folders just to get to the same file.
On OneNote, the resume feature automatically puts me back into the last opened Notebook + section + filed so I can get to work right away.

Zooming in and out on MacOS version
Right now, I can only see 1 page at a time if I zoom all the way out. Can we have extended zoom so we can see 2+ pages at a time? On a larger screen, it'll make better use of the space. As of now, I just get a big blown up view of a single page.

Copy/Paste shortcuts to toolbar
It takes way too much time to copy/paste items today. I would like to recommend a copy/paste buttons on toolbar and at the same moment to make the toolbar customisable.

Pinching cursor to drag/navigate on a PDF while using a mouse
Hi, working on PDFs with GoodNotes for Mac,
the idea is to create a pinching cursor to drag/navigate/move on a PDF (maps for exemple).
That would be much easier that using the scrolling/swipping (shift key) wheel of the mouse.
Inviting you to check the attached pdf to get the idea. Hope to see this feature soonly. Thanking you by advance.Allan

add Keyboard Shortcuts that really help
first idea:
One may think. The share of the target group that uses KEYBOARD shortcuts most probably uses also text boxes (are terrible due to lack of formatink like notability but that idea is already in the top listing her). But when you are „in a textbook“ you cannot hit shortcuts nor can you tab out of a text. Why not make „ESC“ let the textbook unselect or press ⌘ to force other shortcuts. sometime i will change text box mode to pen mode but the short cut does not work. I have to tap with the finger out of…2 votes
