  1. I would suggest another function for the lasso tool which makes it possible to chance the font size of the selected handwritten text without enlarging the whole text.

  2. I want improved folder/ note organization where the same file can be placed in multiple locations without compromising space (e.g. if I have a folder labeled textbooks, but then want to access a specific text from a different folder like Year 1 Microbiology which includes lecture PDFs, notes, and review sheets).

  3. Instead of having to scroll through different tabs for notes when several of them are open, they should condense and all stay on the screen for easier access (similar to how google chrome tabs do)

  4. I really miss the feature that many other pdf viewers (and browsers, eg safari) have, where one presses and holds the scrolling button to move it up/down to a desired page.

  5. In the iPad version, bookmarks and the outline appear as a pop-up, but it would be more convenient if they could appear as a side menu, the same way they appear in the MacOS version.

This would enhance navigation in the iPad version as we can then keep the bookmark/outline bar open to quickly move to different sections of a file, and then close the side-menu when not needed.

  6. It's difficult to adjust the line spacing with the scroll bar because my finger isn't accurate enough so I would like to be able to adjust it by putting the line spacing value in. Thanks

  7. It would be great to be able to import a calendar event into a note like OneNote can. It would save time having to write that info down as well as be a good search tool.

  8. Now in the app, when I need to change the text size, I only can use my finger to drop the icon, but this method cannot let me set the text in same size at each time.
Whether can design a input window to input the text size directly?

  9. If you open a note or a folder from your favorites when you close the note or folder it goes back to your favorites. Can you make it so it goes to the folder that the note or folder was in?

  10. Hello,
In my opinion the UI needs a refresh, it takes too much space on the screen when taking notes, we should have the option to hides things we don't use, thus clearing the menu bar for things we actually need, for example If I use a pen and marker only, I do not need to see the magnifier, shapes, text, laser icons, and also we need more than 3 pen\marker sizes & colors. to up the productivity for people who have to take fast notes (engineering), and want to save time with 1 quick click do it rather than do…

  11. I would love love love the option to pick scroll or swipe on different documents instead of it being only scroll or only swipe (eg one notebook is scroll up and down and another notebook is swipe left to right). I hate the generalization bleh

  12. I am using an XP-pen graphics tablet display on MacOS. The recognition of the stylus is frustrating. It sometimes takes a few strokes to have my input recognized, and other times it works great. Other applications (other than MS Onenote, which brought me to Goodnotes) seem to work fine with the tablet/stylus input.

  13. Sometimes I want to write sentences straight on a blank area from an imported PDF. However, most of the time, my handwriting won’t be straight if sentences are long.

If implement a gridline function in which the user can click a button on the toolbar and show gridlines on the files. It can let the user write straight handwriting sentences on any place of the PDF easily and neatly.

  15. It would be very helpful if there was a "mark as read" option in GoodNotes, especially when you have a lot of texts to be read so you can see at a glance which ones you have read and which ones are still to be read. Currently, I am using the "tick emoji" in the document name which is an alternative but being able to actually tick off documents and mark them as read would be so helpful!

  17. Es wäre gut wenn man beim Stift eine gestrichelte Linie aus wählen könnte.

Geht ja schon beim Lasso Werkzeug das entsprechend mit bleibenden Linien und allen Fähigkeiten des Stiftes.

  18. Sometimes a PowerPoint slide or PDF file might not have enough room to write notes on, or gets too cluttered.

I like to create a new blank page and write notes on that. The issue is the fact that sometimes these additional notes do not take up the whole page so I just have a huge blank area beneath the notes.

I'd like a way to resize each individual page, if needed. That way, I can cut out all the blank, wasted space and keep my notes seamless.

  19. I appreciate the setting of hyperlinks coming from other apps such as Keynote or InDesign, etc. However, I think it would be more useful the possibility to preview all the bookmarks on a sidebar whenever I want, being able to add shortcuts to any of my files inside the GoodNotes app.

  20. Every time I open GN in my MacBook, the app window is small. We should be able to open it in full size each time without having to adjust the size after each opening.
