presentation mode onion skin
Hey GoodNotes Team,
I‘m a teacher from Germany and love & use GoodNotes5 for preparing und presenting my lessons.
The presantation mode is great, but I dream about a function, that would allow me to see the whole script, that my students on the external screen don‘t see. Like a thin layer, so I see points I shouldn‘t forget or where I must draw or write something, without using an extra piece of paper.Best Wishes

I hate having to manually change to eraser each time I make a mistake. I think Nebo has this function.

PowerPoint Notes/Comments Tab
When converting a powerpoint to GoodNotes, it would be great if the comments and notes that were attached in the PowerPoint were able to be transferred as well. Since the conversion to online, my professors just post the slides with notes attached to certain slides to elaborate more on the topics. These comments and notes aren’t transferred but it would be nice to get these ported over to GoodNotes.

In app dark mode for paper and texts
I would like something that darkens the paper and inverts black and white colors. I know we have dark paper but if we want to print it out that would mean we would have to either print that background color or manually change every single page back to white. And if we used dark paper and typed or wrote in white (or vice versa) and switched the background color we would have to manually change that too.

Set custom opacity for highlighter
There’s times I’d like my highlighter to be more vivid without going over it multiple times, or times I’d even like it to be solid (e.g. to fill something with solid color since it’s larger brush size)

Improve pasting text from another source
Every single time I paste text into GoodNotes from another source I have to resize, change font and MOST ANNOYINGLY undo the “indentation” and “misalignment” of text by using the return and backspace. The indentation happens even when the original text is all parallel and doesn’t have an indentation. I literally spend about 3-4 minutes each page just editing what I pasted to look uniform, parallel and neat. WHY!

Moving to a page you've seen before
I am a student who uses GoodNotes to study.
I'm mailing to suggest features that would be great when I study in GoodNotes.
It's moving to a page you've seen before, which is similar to the previous channel feature of the tv remote.While studying, there are many cases of moving and looking to refer to pages that are far away, and then returning from the previous ones.
If this function is added, it seems that the efficiency of study can be improved.

Draggable zoom indent icon
Make an icon next to the existing zoom indentations that allows the indentation line to move
I always have to click left indent too many times to get to where I want to write

Don't pad documents when scanning
When I scan a document, there are always white bars around it--I guess you're padding it t the aspect ratio of the current template or something. Don't do that (or make it a setting)--it's a waste of screen real estate.

tool bar favorites while using zoom feature
I would love it if when using the zoom feature there was a smaller tool bar above the zoom window. It breaks up the flow to have to reach all the way to the other side of the screen to change the pen or color I am using. If it was completely customizable like with the pens, highlighters etc. I choose and able to be moved around the screen that would be great too.

Easier Matrices (New shape for Shape Tool)
I am a mechanical engineering student and I need to write many large matrices in my notes and calculations daily. At least half of my class of 100 use ipads for notes and problem sets and I have heard the same idea from many people.
It would be incredibly useful if you added the large matrix bracket to the shapes that the shape tool recognizes. I mean "[" and "]" but with the ability to draw them as large as needed with straight lines.

Paste screenshots directly into notes without having to upload them from the gallery
I am constantly taking screenshots when I do research and I'm looking to gather them together into a notebook. I want to quickly paste screenshots into the notebook and also be able to add my personal notes next to them or directly on them. I wish I could do this immediately after taking the screenshot without having to go to my gallery to upload the image into GoodNotes. This will allow me to maintain my train of thought better and it will be less tedious. It will make my workflow much more effective. Since right now I have to go…

是否可以在工具栏加上一个锁定当前页面不可编辑的功能？因为页面长期处于可编辑状态很多时候在复习阅读笔记的时候会不小心触碰到里面的内容，有时还会误删一些东西或者不小心打乱了当前页面的排版。这样笔记还要从新编辑一下。如果有一个当前页面锁定功能就可以防止这些误操作。希望得到贵公司回复。谢谢。

Show MB size of each document in folder
The thing is:
I added some huge pdf files in Good Notes, then iCloud complained that it's almost full. So wanted to delete some documents, but I couldn't check which one is bigger.
So, just showing how big a documents is, maybe next to the date and time when last edited, would be just perfect. And probably one of the easiest features to add, I would assume.
And maybe also show the size of each folder?Would that be possible?

Option for thicker pen weights.
Currently we are limited to 2mm max for pen weights which is simply too small for some projects.

Zoom while cropping
Make it possible to zoom an image while cropping so that it can be cropped easier. Especially needed when the dimension of the rectangle I want to crop is very small.

Preview Internal Links of PDFs
When reading a research paper, in-text references often link to the "References" section at the end of the paper, where the full reference is listed. It would be helpful to preview the linked part of the PDF to see the referenced paper without losing my current spot in the document. The attachment shows how this is implemented in the PDF reader of my computer.
