Improve the compatibility with the iPad Magic Keyboard
The MagicKeyboard works really badly on GN. Sometimes you can't scroll back and forth on the trackpad at all or it just jumps back and forth.
As soon as you open a second window, you sometimes can't write at all and have to close the app completely so that it doesn't work again after 2 minutes.
You should also be able to write on the line and not always in between.3 votes -

Identification Tags for Flashcards
I love the flashcard feature in Good Notes! But, I have an idea for how to make it more user-friendly. What if you could put 'tags' on certain cards? For example, in my bio flashcards, I would love to tag which chapters the card is from (e.g., "Ch. 1", "Ch. 2", "Ch. 3"). Then when I launch the flashcard feature, I can select which tags I would like to review. If I feel comfortable with the content from chapter 1, I would leave those cards out. You could also tag cards by their level of difficulty, kind of question (true/false, multiple-choice, etc.) and so on. This way I don't have to make a million notebooks with different combinations of flashcards!

Add the possibility to edit an existing PDF, instead of edit a copy of it.
It would be amazing if it was possible to edit an existing PDF. Right not, Goodnotes can't, and the only way to actually have the modified PDF as output, is to manually export all of it.
Imagine you have a sync folder (maybe with Dropbox, or Syncthings, etc), and you open a PDF (that is inside that sync folder) with Goodnotes. You start to edit the PDF with Goodnotes and everybody that has that sync folder, have the edits updated almost in real time. This is not possible right now, while it is possible in other PDF apps like PDF Expert etc..It would be amazing if it was possible to edit an existing PDF. Lineal oder Geodreieck
Für viele komplexe Aufgaben wird bei der Konstruktion eine genaue Gradzahl benötigt. Mit einem Geodreieck wäre dies auch ohne andere App leicht möglich.

Move the document name down arrow
Three dots on top of the screen for split view prevent the user from pressing the down ( v ) arrow on the right of the document name when the name is short. Please move the arrow or resize the touchbox for the arrow.

Screen Share To Mac App
Allow the screen when using GoodNotes on iPad to be shared with the Mac App version so you can see what you're doing in real-time on the Mac App. I currently use another writing program that does this, which is amazing. I can jump on Zoom and work on documents and teach. Likewise, I can join my tutoring sessions, and my teachers can see the work I'm doing and annotate on screen, etc. I also give presentations and live training, so having the illustrations up on the projector in from of the class is great.
The AirPlay feature is not a solution because it overtakes the whole Mac screen and is not confined to just the GoodNotes program. It makes the MacOS unusable. When the screen sharing is performed internally, I can see what I'm doing in real-time within the GoodNotes app but also still jump on the web, have my calculator in a side view, Have another document pulled up next to it, and use it on ZOOM meeting and allow people to annotate, etc.

Please have two pages viewing feature, instead of split screen. Please.
I use GoodNotes to store my e-textbook PDFs and use it to study. But it’s really troubling to me that i need to use the split view in order to view two separate pages. It’s very difficult and disturbing to use spilt view (which when I want to turn to a page, I need to do the same gesture twice, once left and once right. And every time i want to turn to the next page, I need to swipe twice on each of the separated screens.) when what i need is like reading a book in two pages and when when I flip the page it’s totally the next view of the pages. It gives me a clear picture on where I am, left and right. I always need to refer back to the previous page or the next page like a real book. Using split view is really confusing and annoying when it comes to this. Thank you.

Sync all settings, custom colours and templates across devices (not just documents)
Doesn’t sync settings, custom templates and custom colour pallets across devices! It is really troublesome to manage (and update) everything manually across 3 devices. Please rectify this!

Offline data storage
Enable File Storage without iCloud backup - My daughter is halfway through her sophomore year in college and loves (we all do) good notes. Her first years data is taking up several mega bytes of data (almost 32) which is all the memory she has on her iPad. As she continues we will obviously have to buy a new iPad and storage but would be great to be able to save that first years data to an offline file for use down the road to refer to and or share with friends. Good notes rocks, please add that feature!

Automatically scroll to, and highlight, outline closest to current page in document view area when opening outline section of page grid view
When opening the page grid view, and clicking on the outline section (as opposed to thumbnails section), it would be awesome if the outline section would automatically scroll down (and highlight/bolden) the outline that is closest to (but before or on) the current page the user is editing/looking at in the documents view page. Currently, every time the outline section of the page grid view is selected, the list shows the very top of the outline list, and the user has to scroll down to outlines that are relevant to the current page, as opposed to the outline section automatically showing the current outline most relevant to the current page. This feature would be something similar to how the thumbnails section of the page grid view always highlights the current page for the user. Would be great if the outline page could do something similar. Thank you!

Improve text for people with reading disabilities
Hopefully, this is something simple but basically bold the first half of a word as seen in the Bionic Reading example: https://bionic-reading.com
This helps reading drastically.

Important: unsolicited popup on Mac
Hi,
I have used goodnotes for a long time. I was just working on my Mac and goodnotes in not even open and I got a popup (not a notification!) asking if I was enjoying goodnotes. I believe this is a violation as I do not have notifications enabled for Goodnotes on my mac. How do I make sure this never happens again? I think it is absolutely unacceptable for any app-especially if it is not even being used-to randomly open a popup on my computer. Please address this important issue immediately as this is a professional computer that I use exclusively for work, and this is absolutely unacceptable.Hi,

Lasso can also mirror, besides resize and rotate
When copying and pasting with the Lasso tool, we are given the option to resize and rotate, but we are NOT given the option to mirror the image, that is, reflecting it with respect to the vertical axis. That would be a useful improvement, in my opinion.
For example, to draw a face it would be enough to draw the right eye, half a nose and half a mouth, then mirror it.

Every page has different state of the pencil
I hope when I switch to the other pages, the state of the pencil of my previous page is changeless. For example, the color of the pencil of my previous page is red. When I use other pages, I change the color of the pencil as blue. I hope when I switch to my previous page, the color of the pencil is still red instead of blue. Others tools like eraser and highlight are in way.Thank you!

Show starred folders at the top
Add an option to show starred folders at the top.
Use case: I have a folder for every class at university in the root folder and star classes that I attend at the current semester.
Having a single sub-folder for every semester is not an option for me, because some classes span multiple semesters and often I need quick access to old classes and dont want to click every sub-folder to search for the correct folder.4 votes -
Archive page in notebook
In the pages view, when clicking the arrow on a page, would be great to add a new feature "Archive". This sends the current page to the last page of the notebook and slightly dims it, or adds an icon indicating it is archived.
