So I tried to get a discount, but I accidentally pressed the subscription button instead of purchase. As soon as I realized that I had pressed the wrong button, I waited until iOS was charged and immediately received a refund. I went back into the app to purchase a lifetime plan, but the discount plan did not appear. In this case, won't you give me a discount again? Provide more style options for tape and customize tape styles.
As the title suggests, I need more tape styles or more customizable tape styles. The current tape styles are too monochromatic and not very attractive. They are not smart or colorful enough, and they are not personalized or free. I hope that more support can be provided for this function as soon as possible, rather than getting stuck in AI text recognition and neglecting the construction of basic functions. Other note-taking software has had this feature for a while, as shown in the figure below.

keyboard shortcut for laser pointer
There should be a keyboard shortcut for the Laser Pointer tool in GoodNotes. There are other keyboard shortcuts for pen, highlighter,,. but why is the Laser Pointer the only one without it?" Please add one as soon as possible.

Lock shapes to grid
It would be amazing for technical sketching if shapes would lock to the grid when either drawing or using the lasso tool. Additionally the circle shape should have their handles for resizing on the top, bottom, left and right (always) instead of somewhere random. A „snap to center“ option would be also great, so you could e.g. center one circle within another one easily.

Recently, am I the only one experiencing lag and stuttering when scrolling up or down in GoodNotes 6
Since the release of the 'Ask GoodNotes AI' feature, I've noticed that GoodNotes 6 experiences severe lag and stuttering when scrolling up or down. Even with a slight scroll, it stutters and almost stops, but if I scroll forcefully, it either moves too far forward or too far down, or even jumps to the very top or bottom page, sometimes adding pages unexpectedly. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

Timestamp Linking Between Voice Recordings and Notes
Hi Goodnotes team,
I have another feature suggestion that could greatly enhance the experience of using audio recordings within notebooks.
Currently, when we start a voice recording and take notes by hand or typing during the recording, there’s no way to later connect specific notes to the exact moment they were written.
My suggestion: it would be incredibly useful if, after saving the recording, I could tap on a word or note I wrote during the session, and the audio would jump directly to the exact minute and second when that note was taken.
This feature would be a game-changer for studying, meetings, and lectures, making the replay experience much more dynamic and contextual.

Feature Suggestion – Adapting PDF Imports to Notebook Format in Goodnotes
Hi Goodnotes team,
I’d like to share a recurring issue I’ve been experiencing, along with a suggestion that could significantly improve the user experience.
I usually work with notebooks in vertical (portrait) format, which fits best with my study and workflow preferences. However, when I import a PDF created in PowerPoint (which typically has a horizontal/landscape layout), Goodnotes automatically changes the entire notebook’s format to horizontal, while still keeping the original vertical page size centered on the screen. This results in huge side margins and forces me to constantly zoom in and out to work with the content properly. I’ve attached a screenshot to illustrate the problem.
This behavior disrupts the visual consistency and usability of the notebook, especially for users who rely on a uniform layout.
My suggestion: when importing a PDF, Goodnotes should adapt the PDF content to match the notebook’s existing format, not the other way around. The chosen format is a user’s deliberate preference, and imported content should respect and align with that structure.

Improved AI Math Assistant
It would be great to have an improved AI Math Assistant in GoodNotes 6 that can check every handwritten calculation in every handwritten notepage with handwritten math calculations you write for mistakes. Shift everything down to add some blank space
I would love a way to shift everything below a certain point down. Right now, I have to do a thousand lassos, or just erase and rewrite with the extra stuff in super tiny handwriting.

Wenn zum Schreiben bzw. Tippen in GoodNotes die Textfelder verwendet werden ist es möglich, zwischen verschiedenen Schriftarten zu wählen. Verwendet man hingegen die Funktion Tastatur, ist dies nicht möglich. Es wäre schön, auch hier verschiedene Schriftarten zur Verfügung zu haben.

"Battery saver mode" and "Performance mode" in GoodNotes for iPad
I noticed that my iPad battery gets drained very quickly when I use Goodnotes. It would be great if the Goodnotes team could introduce the features of "Battery saver mode" and "Performance mode" so that it won't consume a lot of battery when I don't need peak performance.
Also, it would be even great to have to GoodNotes team decrease the overall battery consumption of app without introducing those 2 features :)

I would like there to be a text recognition function (OCR) inside Goodnotes 6 so that it is possible to search for paragraphs of text in the various documents by writing certain words in the search bar, even if the PDF I am searching for is in non-editable image format (a bit like what is done with the iPhone gallery app)
Also a function to convert the texts of non-editable PDFs into copyable and editable text but at the same time having careful attention to not modify the layout of the page, such as PDF X-CHANGE FOR Windows

When going into "Practice" mode I'd like the ability to change the orientation of the cards. I want to be able for it to show me the answer first and then the queston. like how you can if you had "real flash cards" and just studying from the other side.
