[Layers is in progress 🚧]
Hello,
We’re thrilled to say that we hear you—one of our most-requested features, Layers, is on its way!
Layers is gradually rolling out to Goodnotes Pro users on iPad and Mac. This early version supports up to 5 layers in notebooks. Please note that it isn’t available during a Pro trial.
Layers is currently experimental, so your feedback is especially important. Please share your experience to help us understand how—and whether—we should develop the feature further.

An error occurred while saving the comment You can do this by adding an outline to the page. To do this, you have to tap on the 'more' option (the three dots icon at the top right corner of you document) and select 'Add This Page to Outline'. You can easily see your outlines at the four squares icon on the top left corner of your document (and also the thumbnails and favorites).

Hi! Hope you are doing well.
Since I started using GoodNotes 5 I felt like something was missing. As time went by, I realized it was uncomfortable the lack of a zoom percentaje of the page because when writing, sometimes (in my case: every time) you zoom in or out the page to add any details you may want. But the point is that it is very hard to keep notes neat if you do not manage to get to the same magnification as you did the last time you wrote. In my case, I got tired of writing sometimes bigger and some other times smaller, so now I just write with the maximum zoom, and although my notes seem writen by an ant, at least my notebooks look neater.
I would really appreciate if you added this feature, it would change my experience taking notes and studying with this app by 180 degrees.
Thank you!
