BRING BACK NORMAL TYPING
The new update on mac makes it so that you cant just tap on the screen and type based on the lines of the page, you have to go through so many steps just to start typing, this has made it extremely annoying to take notes quickly, I suggest bringing back normal typing and keeping the holding page for whole page typing as an add on for people who want it.

Making the toolbar floating and removing the option for a fixed version seriously hurts the user experience. Students like us spend hours taking notes and need focus, but the toolbar constantly moves, sometimes overlaps our work, and it slows us down.
There’s a simple solution that makes everyone happy:
• Floating toolbar
• Fixed (classic) toolbarLet users choose what works for them. It’s really that simple.
Please add a “Classic Toolbar Mode.” This change would make a huge difference for many users.

Formula collection "Formelsammlung database"
To be able to create databank of formulas, like a knowledge database of formulas to each subject and also a “mindmap” where you can combine the formulas to see which are connected with each other.
so when you solve a math problem you can link a already created formula so next time you look at your notes you see what formula was used and if it doesnt exist yet you can add a new formula to the knowledge data base of formulas.

App off while using Windows Good Note
If I adjust the size of the screen immediately right after taking notes, the screen stops instantaneously and is forcibly terminated. These errors occur frequently

Laser rendering mode for ball pen
I've noticed that my handwriting looks significantly better and smoother when using the Laser Pointer (Trail style) compared to any of the permanent pen tools.
The laser pointer seems to have a superior smoothing algorithm and lower latency that isn't currently replicated by the "Stroke Stabilization" settings on the standard Ball Pen. I would like to request a new pen type or a "Laser Mode" toggle for the Ball Pen that uses this exact rendering engine for permanent notes.

Optical Character Recognition Feature
Why can't GoodNotes find certain words from inserted images when I use the search feature? The goodnotes team should really implement an optical character recognition feature, like the ones that one note and notability has. It is so disappointing that we are unable to search for words in a document with images, which would help a lot of students studying in med professions.

Bring back the keyboard button for adding text to a page instead of hiding it in the context menu under "start typing"
Please bring back the keyboard-button you can see on the screenshot. I know there are the new text documents, but especially in school context it is necessary to have the ability to add text to the whole page in a notebook easily.

Eraser and writing aids
The eraser tool works but can get glitchy because when you erase it disappears but then it reappears! It should just erase in one go. Then, there are the writing aids that pop up in the bottom. When you click hide, more just keep coming and you can’t focus

Hi, I'm an iPad user. The new design is currently very inconvenient to use. The floating design of the writing toolbar feels awkward and cramped. Moreover, bugs occur when switching to other tools. The recording tool occupies too much space, and the large, noticeable logo during recording makes me feel unsafe. Additionally, having to open the toolbar to record is very troublesome. After clicking to record, switching to check slides is cumbersome because it requires multiple clicks. Autocorrect
Please allow for a way to turn auto correct on and off for individual documents, I have some documents where I use a lot of abbreviations or some that I like to just quickly scribble something down. It gets annoying though when there are constant red lines underneath because I spelt it wrong (because spelling is not very important for these documents). But I also do not want to turn auto correct off because I still have a lot of documents that I use the autocorrect feature.

Fix text box so it does not go out of the page on the right side. maybe auto scale it when it goes out of bounds?

Please add customisation option for font in text section
Please add customise font setting for the box where 3 default fonts are preset already. Those preset 3 fonts I rarely use. Kindly check the below photo to understand what I wanted to say!

Shape editing
Good afternoon, I am writing to tell you that I have been a goodnotes user for approximately 5 years. I am testing the new update you have made, and I have a negative comment. I wanted to tell you that I have found the control of the shapes a little uncomfortable. When selecting a line for example, the blue dots that appear at the ends to edit the shape are a little annoying. Highlighter synchronization on iPad and MacBook
It would be nice if the highlighters and pictures you insert on the MacBook would not change its position on my iPad. whenever i highlight something on my iPad or on my MacBook or even insert a picture, the same page on the other device is a little shifted and not on the original position.
I uploaded a picture: I wrote the text on my MacBook and highlighted on my iPad. The highlighter on the my MacBook was then shifted from its original position on my iPad. The highlighter on my iPad is still on the original position.6 votes -

sichern könnte,
also unter einem bestimmten Namen speichern kann.
