Disable images completely while writing for teaching
If I’m teaching, I don’t want my photo library to be displayed on the zoom lecture while I’m giving a lecture if I accidentally touch the photos icon. There needs to be an option to deny GoodNotes completely to my photos library. Currently the photos tool will insert an image from your library if you touch the document while it’s selected, which displays your photos for EVERYONE TO SEE!!!!!!!

16:9 notebooks
I and anyone remotely teaching is in need of 16:9 aspect ratio size notebooks. There’s none supplied. The problem is with none 16:9 notebook sizes is the appearance of black frames from both sides.
This is the only reason I have to use Notability instead.

Being able to copy text from imported PDFs!
Currently, I import all my journal articles into goodnotes to review, but I also make a summary powerpoint slide of each one. As I cannot copy and paste text i.e. long titles and author names, I now use the pdf, read and edit as needed in pdf form to make it easier, then import it really just for storage

Copy Option
After "objects" was added, when using the lasso tool the "copy" option was moved to the second page of choosable options. As this is my most used option, it would be nice to have it back on page 1 of the option window. It's annoying to have to do one click more to get to second page every time.

ICloud downloads
I would appreciate it if it was possible to not download all documents on every device but rather save them in the cloud and download them when needed. Looking at how it is right now GoodNotes takes up way too much space on my devices and i would like for that to change.

Seyes template or french school ruling
Seyes template or french school ruling template would be nice. It is possible though to copy one as a pdf and use it as a background, but this would be a nice add on.

Back to reading a document
A "back to reading" option when browsing in the goodnotes files system would be most appreciated.
So say I leave a document I was reading in order to browse through the GoodNotes system, it would be nice to have a button which would send me back to where I was reading when I left the document.

Pinboard mode
I use Goodnotes for idea generation for work and the one thing I miss from my previous app for this (Forge) is the ability to move pages around on a kind of pinboard grid, placing them wherever I want (in groups, solo, rows, columns, with space between them if desired). It would allow free-form placement of the pages on a grid perhaps 6 pages deep and as long as it needs to be, and would be an alternative mode to the traditional notebook sequential page style you currently have. Remove Unlimited Undo to Decrease Interface Lag
I've noticed that the interface begins to lag when I've been drawing on the same file for a while (I use an iPad pro with an Apple Pencil 2). It lags in at least three ways:
- Drawing new lines
- Erasing lines
- Scrolling up and down in the file
I can eliminate the lag completely if I close the file and re-open it. Also, of course, after closing the file and re-opening it I can't undo any of the previous strokes. Thus, it's reasonable to expect that the reason for the lag is because of appending strokes to some data structure…

Other Platform and Third party cloud services support
It has been long time since GoodNotes announced on Twitter that they are planning to bring the app on different platforms but there is no app for Windows and android after years.
If you can’t sync to Windows and android using iCloud please use Google Drive or any other third-party cloud service and please bring app to Windows, android and Web. Microsoft has already achieved this way earlier and should not be difficult for you as well.

Lining Up Text and Other Media
I would love if there was a way to put your text boxes in certain places automatically or know your text is centered on the page. My idea for being able to do this would be maybe a button, or similar to Snapchat and Instagram stories, lines could pop up to let you know your text is in the middle of the page or centered at the top of the page. Paper sizes
Can we please add more paper sizes such as A4, B4, and JIS B5?
I'm a university student who uses B5 sized paper for my notes and I would like to print my GoodNotes pages out onto my regular B5 paper.

Option to minimize and maximize the elements
Hi Goodnotes! I want to suggest that the sticky notes (elements) will have an option to be minimized and maximized so we can have the choice of hiding it and showing it. It would be nice since I like to write key points but the newly added elements block the text. Thanks!
