Attach notes to highlights in PDF
There should be a function to add text/handwritten notes to highlights/or anywhere in the document in PDF reader. After adding the the text/notes, the text box can minimize into an icon next to the highlighted area.
The notes can be compiled and exported/email/printed with or without the document. Information (page no of document/highlighted passages) can be displayed together with/without the notes when exported. This provides easy reference to the notes.

Optimize Storage usage by putting unused files on iCloud Drive.
Could GoodNotes only store recent accessed files for quick access and store unused files automatically on iCloud? It will be really useful for devices running out of storage.

Direct to currently open or resume last button on first screen.
I have documents open. I quit Goodnotes on my iPad Pro (swipe up). The next time a open Goodnotes I have to drill down into one of my folders to open one of my documents to open the section of the app that shows all of my documents I had previously been working on. A button on the home screen that lets me resume previous session without the drill down would be spectacular.

Need favourites form pencil, highlighter, and text
Need favourites form for pencil, highlighter and text.
I usually use Good note 5 for Studying, and I feel it is not comfortable to using.
If you make a form that I can set up my favourites pencil especially a typeof pencil and colour and what ever, It would be very useful for people. Also the Text function has problem. when i want to change the font, it is very inconvenience. Because you even didn't have "recently use".
I really like Good note5. But some functions are really improved.8 votes -
Auto save photos to camera roll
I use this to take notes ehile inspecting houses. I take 50-60 or more during an inspection. While I can save each one individually (one at a time) to camera roll it would be awesome if that could happen automatically.

Remotely sit exams via goodnotes
Current state of the art in remote proctoring of exams is for students to be monitored via a webcam by a real person. As the exam is uploaded there is still room to cheat or to have someone else impersonate you. Handwritten exams have to be scanned at the end for upload. This service is not really available right now due to the lockdown and Universities are scrambling to find solutions that any way secure.

Pen Favourite / Shortcut = Pen Type + Colour + Size AT THE SAME TIME !
Today, when you want to use the fountain pen in Green at a size of 1,5mm for some elements PLUS the ball pen in black at a size of 0,3mm, you have to always switch the 3 characteristics ALL THE TIME :
- Tap Pen > switch Fountain / Ball
- Tap Colour > switch the colour
- Tap Size > switch the size >> In real paper life, you drop the first pen and take the other one... it should the same here

Exporting files to a folder in google drive or one drive without having to do the whole process of finding the folder each time
Such as notability. It is quick and efficient whereas currently with good notes I have to go through the whole process.

make drawings out of page visible
when you copy/paste something and add it at another place/page, you may not see everything, since it overlaps the page. As long as you still have the edit-window open, it's not an issue. However, when you tap on the page accidentally and you lose th edit-window, you're not able to see the text which is not directly on the page.

Either a second toolbar like the existing one (but much smaller, less tools, and movable on the entire display) or a movable „tool-point“ which opens some customized tools.
