PDF to Sepia
My main use of GoodNotes is to read academic whitepaper PDFs and annotate them. I'd really like it if I could convert the white backgrounds to a sepia tone to make them easier on the eyes. iOS Night Shift changes too much in my opinion. It'd be awesome if there was a way to naively just change every pixel of one color to another color, say white -> sepia, black -> gray, white -> black, etc.

Disable to show up keyboard automatically right after copy&paste texts.
When trying to copy$paste texts from something like a webpage to goodnotes, I don’t want keyboard to show up soon because I can’t change the width or the location of pasted texts because it is sometimes hidden by the keyboard.
I also wonder why I can't change the height of the textbox and also can't delete a whole textbox. Are these things possible on goodnotes 5?

Better Translation of Microsoft Powerpoint to goodnotes
Goodnote 5's ability to add PowerPoint to the app is lacking. The content is out of place to compare to the actual slides, with one reason being font enlargement after translating into the app. There is a failure to recognize certain symbols. Also, some slide content would not appear, due to font enlargement occupying excessive space, leaving no room for a certain context, then the app automatically not shows those contents.

Pages in any directions.
Ok, we can now scroll like a normal notebook, how about being able to do that, but adding a page above, or below an existing page. Kind of like a mind map. If you have a note with something specific, you can add something specific below (or above) a note

I am missing the feature to covert handwriting to formula, such as integrals, partial derivatives, greek letters and so on.

Extract highlighted content to a new document for summary
Imagine you are writing a thesis, you need to read tonnes of heavy journals and you want to easily extract the essence of the content for use in your work. While highlighting is useful, being able to remove everything else and only see the highlighted content you have marked will significantly improve the understanding of that journal.
And imagine if the content is editable too, as in exporting it to a Word file. Can you imagine how this reduces the time spent on reviewing literature??!15 votes -
Choose many pictures at the same time to make a new file.
Hi, Goodnotes is my most favorite application. But one thing that you can improve to make GoodNotes better application is “make it can choose many pictures and make an order of those pictures when user want to makes a new file from many pictures “ when found this needs when I have to sent my homeworks from home during this virus crisis.

More Intuitive Color Picker
Right now, it is a little bit complicated to choose new colors in GoodNotes 5 since one has to tap on several menus to arrive at the color wheel. I wish there would a a feature that'd show previously used colors in a palette, down there the usual colors. (Also: adding colors to the palette is confusing! And the hexadecimal RGB-Code shows the value "#ffffff' no matter what color until you move the color picker.)

Document hierarchy improvement
Okay so they did hierarchy but its kind of a pain to navigate. If you have many folders and are in one of the deeper folders you must keep pressing the back button until you get to your desired document. There should be a menu button (for instance near the Bookmarks button) that could be accessed to easily get from one document to another.

Have an option to keep multiple files separate when converting to pdf's
There should be a better option when I need to send multiple files via email as separate pdfs. I often have to send multiple files from Goodnotes and it would be great if I could select that I want to send them as two separate pdf attachments. But the only option to keep them as separate pdf's is to send multiple emails because if I select multiple files to send as an email it will merge them into one large pdf.

Two-way sync for google drive
two-way sync option for google drive where deleted files on the app will also be deleted on google drive. Upon the google drive sync, folders that I have moved or deleted were still there

Backup in both directions
it ist great that now it is possible to backup our files with for example google drive/one drive.
But it were much better if we could sync the Backup folder with goodnotes.

specify a certain time period for Auto-Backup
It will be very nice, if you could specify a certain time period for Auto-Backup.
For example Once a day or every hour. Because I think, since I activate it, my battery of the IPad is much faster empty

colors dont reset with updates
hello it would be great if the new colors added by a user do not reset with each update, because it is very tedious to go and enter all the new colors again.

Import images from Files sheet
Please allow to add not only PDF but also images from the Files-sheet by tapping +. When draging-and-dropping in splitview from the Files app adding images to documents as new page works fine, so why don‘t you allow it from inside the app?

This would allow to use other cloud services that are integrated into the Files app, in particular secure, end-to-end encrypted services.

Add the FILL IN TOOL for diagrams and shapes
it would be great to have a tool that lets you fill in a shape or a diagram, especially for hand drawn pictures that we all love to insert in our notes. Using the highlighter to fill in the shape take too much time and is also imprecise.

i am dev and i know its difficult to update apps and tasks users wants .but you can make a store and a section for using plugin for other devs share their plugins and improve your app productivity ,
for example :

Ongoing writing
It would be great to have the option to be able to continue scrolling downward endlessly while writing, instead of having to add a new page constantly.
