[Apple Pencil Pro (squeeze) palette] Support toolbar customization
We all use different tools more frequently, and the new squeeze-to-display-palette with the Apple Pencil Pro is fantastic, but it isn't reflecting the new customized order we make in the top toolbar. And of course it should, it seems to me.

Tape Feature Expansion
I suggest an addition to the tape feature that would allow the user to cover/uncover all of the tape on the current page. This would be extremely useful in slides such as anatomical diagrams, which have many possible areas to cover and study. This feature would immediately remove the repetitiveness of having to go back through and individually re-cover names.

Sync Windows with iOS version
I can't edit the iPad notes on the Windows PC because GoodNotes Windows doesn't sync with iOS.
Maybe it's possible to implement a system where users can sync their notes between GoodNotes client using other cloud storage platforms (OneDrive, GDrive etc.)

#Design : Tools to Align & Group Objects
It's straightforward.
Create a set of tools like found in Photoshop ( or any design software ) which allow objects ( text, images, shapes, stamps, etc.) to be selected and aligned to:
1. an object
2. the canvasAdditionally, add a tool for grouping and ungrouping objects and one to "send to the back" or "bring to the front" (practical when objects overlap ).
GoodNotes is a note-taking app, and it should be equally considered a design app. Missing these simple tools that allow me to organize my content makes GoodNotes less effective and less efficient ( and often frustrating…

Two-page scroll
See two sequential pages from the same notebook on one screen. Similar to 2-page scroll in Adobe Acrobat or Mac Preview.
Using the split screen mode in iPad OS 13 doesn't work because you have to manually scroll each window two pages at a time which is awkward67 votes -

Need a toolkit for ruler, protractor, compass. This is so we can illustrate scaled diagrams.

Rotate without changing scale
I downloaded Goodnotes 5 because it promised I could rotate a selection. However every time I rotate the selection is changes the scale of it. Is there any way of separating these two functions. Or when you rotate that your able to lock the scale so it doesn't change?

Math geometry mode
For teaching (math, biology), it would be great to improve the math geometry mode like this:
line types: dotted, dashed, solid for graphs etc.
building an circle / rectangle etc. by fixing the center / edges.
(radius for example) and enable to draw curved lines in geometry mode.
or at least just like notability put the edges of an rectangle in the right positionmay be an interface to geogebra.

Import SVG Elements
I'd like to be able to design elements in a vector based app like Graphics and then use them in GoodNotes without having to convert them to pixel-images first.

Ruler
You can add a ruler feature, were you can draw straight lines and see the angle. There could be a centimeter display, which shows how long this line would be in ,,real“ life.

Add Support to insert ANIMATED / .GIF images
I taught of it while making notes on liver Anatomy, if I could add 1 .gif image of a 3D organ, It can save me from adding 4 images in 4 directions.

Picture opacity adjustment
As a planner and student, it would be so helpful to have an adjustable opacity for pictures that we insert. This would allow text underneath to show or for layering stickers or for block scheduling. It would really improve planning on the iPad. Thank you!

Add a ruler and/or a virtual protractor
Why not add a ruler and/or a virtual protractor to GoodNotes, it would be so much more practical to do graphs, draw vectors etc... because at the moment there is no precise tool.
(For example, there is a virtual rule on the Notes app on iOS).PS : A compass could also be useful but less important than the rule and the protractor which are ESSENTIAL!

Convert page
Great App!!!
I use the Zoom Windows to write notes. I encode items like reminders and events with title, date time, list name, and people using delimiters such as '#today$Buy some milk€Shopping' for a reminder or '$Risk meeting for ProjectX#23/7/18t12h30-13h00@Me;Email.address@domain.com' for an event. I then select the writing using the Lasso Tool to convert to text. I then share this text with Workflow extensions I have created which parses the examples into a reminder or event etc. It works great ;-)
A long-shot... but... Could you create a button which lassos the area between the top and bottom…65 votesDefinitely a very interesting idea but quite complex and probably only relevant for very tech-savvy power users. We’re not sure but maybe it is already doable using Shortcuts, as other apps can read the converted text.

Rubber Stamps
It would be great to be able to use predefined and custom graphic stamps to annotate a document. I'm thinking 'Rejected!' or "Approved'

[New languages] Ukrainian
Nowadays it is becoming popular in the world to learn Ukrainian language. I propose to add Ukrainian to the list of languages. It is a language of the Cyrillic family, I think it would be easy to do on the basis of the Russian language.

Separate rotate and resize options
When selecting text with the lasso tool, you should be able to choose to either resize or rotate. It is very hard to do one of the options individually in the current setup with the resize/rotation combo button, especially with geometrical shapes that shouldn’t change its size even a millimetre but i want to rotate. (I linked a very simple example as well. As you can see, when rotating using the current rotate/resize combo button, the size isn’t 100% the same anymore)
Basically just add an option to rotate without changing size please

Linienarten
