Everyday I spent more than 100 times to do this...

Simply add more options, for people who would use those.
Like one tap undo/redo instead of double.
Option to hide or move Marketplace button in Notebook templates.
Size of toolbar buttons.
Even color of poiting tool. Also simple Layer System would be nice it would make notes, easier to organize, selection tool an eraser wouldn’t interact with things on other layers.

Adding this option would be really appreciated. I stopped using goodnotes two years ago ONLY because this feature is not available. It makes the writing experience really slow, and as someone who writes a lot, and uses the undo feature a lot, double tapping is really frustrating and that's why I switched to another nota taking app.

I'll really appreciate it if you add these options:
One-tap with two-fingers: Undo.
One-tap with three-fingers: Redo.
Much more easier and convenient.
Thank you! -

Needing to double-tap is an RSI nightmare—should be an option if only for accessibility purposes.

Totally agree.
Please add this option.
One-tap with two-fingers: Undo.
One-tap with three-fingers: Redo.
Most note-taking and art applications offer this option for us so why is it still not available here in Goodnotes which I consider as the best note-taking app? -

I use other applications that have the features of single-tap 2 or 3 fingers for undo / redo. It would be REALLY nice if Goodnotes had an option to choose whether to consider single or double-tap choice for the user. Muscle memory goes to heck when I switch between apps. And using the toolbar to select undo/redo is too slow.

And it would be nice to disable the "undo" and "redo" messages when they are applied since it's obvious what is happening and each time just inserts a delay in your flow.

Should be an option to choose if you want to double tap or single tap with two fingers to undo

Agree. I cannot understand the thought process behind the implementation. If I need to undo 10 strokes, I have to tap the screen 20 times, instead of just 10. It's maddening, and I just use the undo button instead. Implementing undo-redo with a double-tap is the same to me as not implementing it at all.

How come you decided to go for double-tap /only/ instead of giving us the option to choose between single or double-tap?
Please add this, and maybe an option to turn the gestures off for those who prefer the buttons on the screen (see the comments on your own post about the update, for example). It would be deeply appreciated.
And also, the redo gesture does not work very well for many, if at all (not working at all in my case).

1. Two fingers, double tap for undo is too much. Why not a single tap with two fingers?
2. Add meta changes to the undo stack: if I add or remove a page, I want to be able to undo (or redo) it, same for template change.

It would be nice if the was a toggle option. It could be more deliberate and useful for some the way it is now, for others having a single tap across apps makes everything more efficient.

Completely agree. This makes switching between good notes and other apps more painful. When I get into the other app, I end up over-undoing. When I return to good notes, I waste a few seconds wondering why undoing isn’t working.
There seems to be some additional rejection of taps when I switch from drawing to tapping, so it typically takes three or four taps for the first undo.
Also, this when drawing a figure, you might have to draw 10 or 20 strokes before knowing if you like the result. I’s much nicer to two-finger tap 20 times than 40.

Please include option to choose between one tap or double tap to undo/redo. I understand using double tap is more deliberate and will result in less false undo/redo instances, but if Procreate and so many other apps haven't had a problem with accidental triggering of undo/redo, it should also be an option for GoodNotes.
I would argue that even if there was an accidental trigger, we can more easily undo/redo in a single tap to revert that change.
