1. link to last page viewed in document

   Add an option to the document link that will open the linked document to the last viewed page instead of on a specific page number.

   Working on multiple projects that have multiple files can be challenging to navigate in Goodnotes. What I would like to be able to do is create an index page that will quickly let me open the files for a particular project. I can do this using document links, and that allows me to keep the logical structure of the project separate from the logical structure of the files. (For example, I might have a reference document that is used in more than one project. I can have it linked on the index page and stored in a “references” folder, rather than copied into each project folder that uses it.)

   When I open a file from a folder, it opens to the last viewed page. When I’m working on long documents, that’s exactly what I want. It saves me from paging around and trying to remember where I was – or trying to remember to set a bookmark right before I close a file.

   When I open a file from a link, it opens to a static page selection. I can choose the page, but I don’t want to have to modify the links every time I close a document.

   Can you add an option for “last viewed” to the page link button?

   (Or, better still, can you build a native project management feature that will open a set of documents to the last viewed page with a single button press?)

2. We Need a Better Search Function

   As much as I love CTRL+F on a keyboard, I can't do the same thing on Goodnotes. I understand that it has some trouble reading messier writing, but even when it successfully finds a word, it does not highlight in a helpful color. I have to search for at least 2 minutes to find it. Also, when you click on the page to go to the found word, the page does not move. Please fix this! It's not helpful!

3. subject division withinn notebooks

   having the option to swipe around your notebook while uniting few pages so that you can open them if you need this subjects or just keeps swiping without opening them to save time.

4. Remove auto-hotbar when using lasso

   When you select something with the lasso, and the hot-bar of options immediately comes up, it gets in the way when you're trying to move things to a specific place, it would be much better if it went back to what it was - selecting using lasso, then tapping the selected area to pull up the object options.

5. Quick access to all pages marked as favourites

   Before the latest update there was the option to access an overview of all pages I marked as favourite pages after clicking on the „four rectangle“ buttom at the top left hand corner.

   There the first tab displayed the overview of all pages and THE SECOND TAB displayed the option to quickly access all my marked favourite pages.

   Now the second tab is the document outline (which was the third one before) and the third now is an overview of audio files. I almost never need audio files but I need the quick access of ALL my favourites sometimes just daily!

   I cannot scroll the first tab with all pages to look for the favourites (sometimes I read books with 1000 pages. If page 567 is the favourite I‘m looking for you are knowing how much time it‘d take searching it!)

   Please make it possible to change the options what these three tabs should display so I can adjust it like I need it or take back the old menu for the three tabs with 1. all pages overview, 2. all favourites overview and 3. outline.

6. フォルダの最終更新日の扱いについて

   いつもGoodnotesを快適に使わせていただいております。
   ​さて、今回ご相談したいのは、ノートブック（ファイル）の最終更新日の表示とソート機能に関する改善についてです。
   ​現状、ファイルを「最終更新日」で並べ替えた際、ファイル内のページを編集した日付（書類の最終更新日）ではなく、ファイルそのものが作成または移動された日付が基準となっているように見受けられます。
   ​多くのユーザーは、次に作業するノートを見つけたい時に「最終更新日」でのソートを利用するかと思います。そのため、ファイル内の書類（ページ）を最後に編集した日付が、ファイルそのものの最終更新日として反映され、その日付で正確に並べ替えができるような機能の追加をご検討いただけませんでしょうか。
   ​この機能が実装されることで、頻繁に利用するノートへのアクセスが格段に向上し、Goodnotesをさらに便利に活用できると期待しております。

7. Foulders for favourites

   It would be very helpful if the objects saved in “favourites” could be further organized, for example by allowing users to sort favorites into folders. Thank you very much.

9. Table of Contents Efficiency

   When I am working in a large document (several hundred pages), navigating the TOC is cumbersome. If I’m on page 23 of 900, and know I need to go approximately 3/4 of the way into the document to a chart, I have to scroll and scroll and scroll until I get there.

   The app I’m attempting to replace with Goodnotes, GoodReader, has an extremely efficient TOC that you can click through easily. You can see the entire document and just tap where you want to go. If I need to navigate the documents actual TOC, bookmarks, or any annotations I made, there’s a button to bring those up.

   I am constantly jumping back and forth through documents and honestly despise the current method. This is one feature that might make me stay with my current app.

10. Linking text documents, not only normal notebooks

    Version 7.0.18: At the moment, it's only possible to link notebooks. It would be useful to link text documents, too.

11. Do not automatically scroll to the end of the new page when pulling to add a page

    The current behavior makes no sense. Why would I want to go to the end of the new page? Obviously, I want to be at its beginning. Why would adding a page even change my position is beyond me.

12. Stop scroll on tab switch

    When switching tabs on at least iPadOS good notes slightly scrolls up every time you switch tabs rather than just staying at the location prior to tab switch

13. Pins for whiteboard

    Using Whiteboard quite intensively right now there is one thing I‘d love to be added: pins! For example the app prodrafts has that feature on their whiteboard where you can place a pin anywhere on the whiteboard by long pressing somewhere. You can name that pin and set a color. There‘s a pins menu where you can see all your pins and by tapping on one quickly navigate to its place on the whiteboard. When zooming out the pin gets bigger so that when fully zoomed out you see all these „isles“ on your whiteboard with their pins readable, making it really easy and convenient to navigate on a big whiteboard. That would be a fantastic addition!

14. Fix the font size bug in text docs

    Fix the zoom bug in text docs. When I click on Zoom in, it doesn't do anything. I have the same issue with increasing font size as well.

15. Button Color Zoom Window

    In the zoom window (top right) there are the buttons voor jumping to the next line, close the window and the 3 dots. Would it be possible to get these button in white instead of blue. Iam using iPads color filters in red when working in dark places like theaters........ And these buttons are really hard to see when using the colour filters. If they are white as the other buttons this will help. See picture of the buttons

17. Quick navigation to previous page / Back or Return Button

    I have a suggestion that I think would make it even more useful for reading and taking notes. When I read a PDF document, I often come across references or links that take me to other pages within the document. This is especially useful when the text contains a reference number or symbol that I need to look up to fully understand the content.

    However, one thing that can be frustrating is when I follow a link to a new page and then want to return to the page I was reading before. In order to do this, I have to scroll back through the PDF, which can be time-consuming and distracting.

    That's why I would like to suggest that the app include a shortcut that takes the user back to the page they were reading before clicking on a link. This would save time and make the reading experience more seamless and enjoyable.

    With this feature, users would be able to easily navigate back and forth between different pages and references within the PDF, without losing their place in the document. I believe this would be a valuable addition to the app and would make it even more user-friendly for people who read and take notes.

    I would love to be able to password protect folders that need to be kept private. I keep all my private information in folders so even if only the folders could be password or passcode protected it would be very helpful

19. [Sorting documents] By Date Created / Date Last Modified / Last Opened / Size + Ascending / Descending

    Is it possible to change the order in which dokument is showned when sorting by name. I allways name my document by date first and as it is my new documents ends up last. I would prefer if the lastest dates are at the top

20. [Outline] Permanent toggling "custom outline/PDF outline" for outline filter within notebooks

    I have been a Goodnotes user for over 5 years, and it is currently my primary note-taking app for my studies in medical school. I have recently noticed a small redundancy that I believe can make the user experience a lot smoother if a slight improvement is made. When accessing the outlines within a notebook composed of imported PDFs, there are both custom outlines and auto-imported PDF outlines. As is the case with many students, the PDF outlines are often cluttered and sometimes irrelevant, so custom outlines are instead used to divide the various subsections (eg. lectures) within a notebook. Custom outlines can be filtered, so as to show custom outlines only, however, when re-opening the notebook the user must re-filter this (ie. toggle "PDF outlines" off), which is oftentimes redundant. I believe providing a simple function where "PDF outlines" can always be toggled off, so that the user does not have to continuously toggle this every time they open the notebook, would make a substantial improvement to the seamlessness of the Goodnotes user experience.
