I request the reintroduction of a feature or an option to enable
"Continuous Placement Mode"
for the Elements tool.โSelect the Element Tool.โTap on an element(sticker, image, textbox.)
from the Elements bar.โThe tool should remain active, allowing the user to tap repeatedly on the canvas to place the selected element multiple times until a different tool is selected (e.g., Pen, Lasso).

Lasso Tool + Text Box + Shapes
For the lasso tool, be able to select shapes and handwriting because sometimes they are drawn together and when you want to move the whole thing, it only selects the shape (even though select shape + handwriting is on).
For the text box, have the grey box with the size, colour, etc. be somewhat transparent so that the underlying background can still somewhat be seen (helps when typing something that is said in the background).
For the shapes, have an option to not combine shapes when putting them on top of each other.

Making site more accessible
Hello, I really enjoy your site. I work at a community college with students with disabilities and I refer students often. I noticed when I ran your site through wave.webaim.org and there were a few areas that could be easily fixed. I am requesting that you use the site to improve the accessibility.

please add support for e-ink tablets - particulary boox, the highly popular boox air 4c doesnt seem to support it even though its android. Just says not supported by browser.. these e-ink tablets are really popular. I bought a subscription to goodnotes as i assumed it would run on android.. it will on a basic android tablet but not on these e-ink android-based ones like boox.

Collapsible folder and notes view
Iโd like for that same view of collapsible folders and notes when importing documents to be on the sidebar, it would be useful to be able to see multiple notes/folders at the same time

Video & screen recording while taking notes
Currently, there is no iPad app that allows video (screen + optional audio+facecam) recording while taking handwritten notes in an integrated way.
Adding this feature would clearly set GoodNotes ahead of all competitors and turn it into a complete learning and teaching platform, especially for students and educators.1 vote -
Smart PDF Import: Add Margins with Grid Background for Writing
When importing PDFs:
โ Allow users to choose โAdd expandable writing marginโ
โก๏ธ Let us set how many cm to add on each side (top, bottom, left, right)
โก๏ธ Let us select a background style (grid, lined, blank) for the expanded area
โก๏ธ Optionally, allow us to choose whether the background layer appears above or below the imported PDF (this could be added laterโno rush!)๐ฅ This would create a perfect page layout with the PDF on one side and structured space to take notes, do calculations, or annotate clearly.

Study Sets : Scratch sheet
When using a study set, you should be able to close and reopen scratch paper without saving it. For instance, if I want to use the same blank temporary paper for a different question, it will remain blank every time I reopen it, even if I save the file.

[New languages] Slovenian
Hello
We are using good notes in our company on IPAD machines. We only miss very important toll and this is ocr - handwriting recognition in language Slowenian (Contry in Europe - Slovenia). We miss this very much becouse we now implementig paperless work and if we dont have this language supported we have to switch to other program. We dont want this becouse goodnotes is great.
We dont need that the language of the program is in slovenian we need just the recognition language in slovenian.2 votes -

ใปI want to be able to lay out images more freely in text documents. For example, if you reduce the size, you can arrange photos next to it.

ใปI find it convenient to be able to preview links on both text documents and whiteboards.

Ai quizzes
With the new integration of Ai in Goodnotes, I would love to have the choice of Ai making a practice quiz based on my notes/slides presentation pdf you saves in goodnotes. I have two ideas:
- Ai makes practice questions based on your notebook and like the flashcards uses spaced repetition
- Ai can create a practice quiz, like multiple choice and matching

canโt make font size larger than 100pt
I used to have a title of each notebook with a large font size. In the latest Goodnotes 7 I am unable to obtain a font larger than 100. Thatโs a problem. Can you help me with that?

Laser pointer update
I am an engineering grad I do all my notes in Goodnotes the only feature that I need the most is the laser writing gets erased within a second , it would be great if I write as much as I want on the screen with laser and on one โclear allโ option all laser writings gets cleared . I tend to do most of my rough calculations besides my notes and it becomes hard to erase my rough with main writing as lines get overlapped , it would be convenient for me to scribble over my notes with laserโฆ

Add the ability of extending margins in pdf file/ presentation to add notes
Allow extending the margin (left and right of pdf file or presentation, to add notes. This would be very useful for students that follow the professorโs presentation during lectures. Some other apps do it like notes+. Their implementation is pretty good.

Typing
I would like to report an issue Iโm experiencing while editing text on the iPad version of your app.
When I select or edit a text box, the floating formatting toolbar appears directly over the text Iโm working on. This makes it difficult to see the content underneath, especially when the text box is near the top of the page. The toolbar does not automatically reposition, and I cannot move it manually, so it constantly blocks my view.

Adjust a drawn line
When you want to adjust the lenght of a Drawn line, a large Blue dot appears. This makes it impossible to Drag the line to the exakt Position you want. A magnifying Glass or a very small dot would be much more helpful here.
