Auto Refine Handwriting Feature
I'd love if this was added, Apple notes has this feature and it has made me consider switching over. It's so much easier than using text boxes to have nicer writing in your notes. I also like that it still looks like my handwriting, just nicer, not a font. I enjoy reading my notes in my own handwriting instead of fonts because it's less like I'm reading a long essay.

Lasso tool should not activate automatically
Lasso tool should please not activate automatically while writing (ie after drawing a line and clicking it to make it longer or shorter), requiring tapping the pen tool to return to writing

Smarter Lasso Tool
When using the lasso tool to select a drawing or handwriting area, it would be great to not only change the color but also adjust the line thickness for all selected elements simultaneously. Additionally, adding an option to either preserve the original stroke thickness or scale it proportionally when resizing would offer much more control and flexibility.

Custom fonts are harder to get to
With the new update, it takes so many extra steps to change the fonts to custom, downloaded ones. There’s the modern, classic, and technical options so it would be nice to customize that so there’s a top 3 fonts, but it sucks to have my fonts be more inaccessible!!

Image and elements select without lasso tool
With the new update, you can’t click on the image or elements tool to edit just those items. The buttons are just for adding new images into the page and that forces you to use the lasso tool to edit them. This is horrible for someone like me who uses a background image as a template and kept the image lasso off to not accidentally mess up my whole page. Please change it back! Or FINALLY give us a lock layer option so that we don’t have to select everything to get one image!!

Being able to use Apple Calendar with Integrations. At the moment I can only choose for google calendar. Or Do I Mis Something

Dashed, Dotted line for pencils
It could be better if we can be able to select dotted line and dashed line for pencil tool, as the pen tools can.

Also add the Laser Pointer both dot and line to have size options as well like the pencil
Add size option for Laser pointer option
Add inner and outer color option instead of just only white and red
Add option for longer stay of the writing with laser line unless page is changed or like pinching the pencil in laser mode to disappear the writing,
Those options will be helpful while making tutorial videos or while teaching Online

Ruler rotation shortcut (e.g, double tapping)
Rulers shortcut that can rotate 90 degrees,
When I'm drawing graphs, I have to manually rotate the rulers from 0 degree to 90 degree.
I think it is better if we have shortcut (something like double tapping the ruler) and it rotate clockwise to 90 degrees (or customizable rotation)

Laser pointer whiteboard
I would like to suggest adding support for using the laser pointer in the whiteboard mode. It would be very helpful if the laser pointer were available there as well.

BRING BACK THE “AUTO STRAIGHTEN TEXT” OPTION
Since the last update you have modified the edit mode and deleted the auto-straighten button! It was probably the most useful button in the entire app and now it’s gone. Instead of trying to develop useless ai features, focuson the basic functionality of the app first! (I’ll putpictures of the old and new edit mode)

Add backspace button in text box
It would be very helpful if there was a dedicated backspace button (similar to the enter button to start a new line) for the text box. When I’m writing and converting to text it would be easier to be able to backspace and delete certain letters or words or remove a line or indent I made by having a backspace button like when typing on a traditional keyboard.

Bring back recent fonts tab
Bring back recent fonts section for text. I have multiple fonts I switch between constantly and use to be able to do it easily before the new update, now only the last custom font I used and a few random fonts I never use show up and the rest I need to scroll to find every time. Please make an option to have a recent or favorites font section easily accessible. Also please put the set as default button in a quicker and easier to locate spot. The steps it takes to find it is ridiculous.

Infinite Board | Add real black colour and the Zoom Box
- You only offer 3 colours, and the colour you call black isn’t black at all—it’s some sort of dark gray-ish. We need real black colour or the usual colour palette one has in the normal note mode [no infinite board]
- Also, why there’s no zoom box in the infinite board mode? Please add it there, too.

Shape tool Stroke width Option
I truly appreciate the new features introduced with the recent update—they’ve been very helpful. I do, however, have a small request that I believe would make the workflow even smoother.
Currently, whenever I switch from writing to drawing shapes or lines, I need to manually adjust the stroke width each time to match my pen. This process takes a little extra time and interrupts the natural flow of writing and drawing.
It would be wonderful if there were an option to quickly set the shape or line stroke width to match the current pen width—or to have a few ready-made…

Pencil tilt
While using my Apple Pencil and writing with the pencil feature in goodnotes, if I tilt my pencil, the writing gets thicker as if I were tilting a blunt pencil. This is inconvenient as I tend to hold my pencil to the side and the feature makes my notes messy.
I would like an option to disable this feature so that no matter how I hold my pencil, the thickness will stay consistent.

Ai quizzes
With the new integration of Ai in Goodnotes, I would love to have the choice of Ai making a practice quiz based on my notes/slides presentation pdf you saves in goodnotes. I have two ideas:
- Ai makes practice questions based on your notebook and like the flashcards uses spaced repetition
- Ai can create a practice quiz, like multiple choice and matching

Have more flexibility with the text box
I love using scribble to have my notes written in a different font but I wish we could have as much flexibility with the lasso tool as we do with normal hand writing. For example sometimes to I do my math homework on there and I want to move some of the variables down or move only one word from the sentence but when using the lasso tool with text box the whole text box moves even when I only circle one part.

Laser pointer update
I am an engineering grad I do all my notes in Goodnotes the only feature that I need the most is the laser writing gets erased within a second , it would be great if I write as much as I want on the screen with laser and on one “clear all” option all laser writings gets cleared . I tend to do most of my rough calculations besides my notes and it becomes hard to erase my rough with main writing as lines get overlapped , it would be convenient for me to scribble over my notes with laser…
