PLAYING AUDIO RECORDINGS IN IOS BACKGROUND (SCREEN LOCKED)
I WOULD FIND IT REALLY HELPFUL IF GOODNOTES GOT THE FEATURE TO PLAY RECORDED AUDIO FILES IN THE IOS BACKGROUND EVEN IF SCREEN IS LOCKED.

Grid overlay
It would be amazing to be able to add a grid overlay to documents. I primarily use GoodNotes to annotate note slide pdfs with blank backgrounds and i find it would be much easier to have neat and straight printing if this feature was offered.

Pencil, Highlighter and Shapes Tool thicknes submenu option
It would be nice to have the thicknes presets in a submenu like in one of the previous updates. It doesn‘t has to be standart but to at least the option to have it in a submenu would be nice. Ideally you‘d have up to five thicknes presets in there, so you don’t have to switch the presets thicknes. I have seven colorpresets what is just a little to wide for the space i have in the mainbar, so it would be far more comfortable to have the thicknes adjustment in a submenu so this anoying scroll thing does not…

FlashCard Update
Flashcard Update! Please make this a permanent feature. There should be an outline so you can quickly find a card without flipping through the full size ones. Also have a way for you to save your progress. If i make a deck of 120 cards I may not have time to make it all the way through and want to come back where I left off. Also a feature to let you study only the ones you missed. And a feature to let you view them in order or randomly.

Geometrisches Werkzeug für Textmarker
Ich habe oft das Problem, wenn man eine text liest und markiert, muss man bei den Textmarker immer warten bis eine gerade line entsteht.
Für den normalen Stift gibt es die Funktion mit dem Geometrischen Werkzeug, mit dem man immer eine gerade line ziehen kann. DAs für den Textmarker wäre super.1 vote -
Pop-up Notes
It'd be amazing to have Pop-up Notes. Say you're working on a paper with a dense list of questions that you'd like to answer in the same notebook. It'd be good to be able to create a Popup note (UI wise could just be a circular note icon that expands) in an area that you choose, so when you click on it a popup comes up that lets you write within that new popup.
This would also be cool for marking or writing extra notes that you don't want directly onto a document.

Add Folder Customisation
Give the option to customise folders through colours and maybe even icons and emojis that can be put over the folder for our subjects. It would make navigating a lot faster as we can see instantly where we want to go instead of relying on the smaller folder text.

Be able to customise folders not just the plain boring blue colour. This will make it easier to differentiate between different folders

Stock the pencils preferences as buttons
I often switch pencils colors and strokes width, also between pencils and highlights.
If we can use stock buttons which enable us to stock pencils or highlights preferences including color, width, this function makes GoodNotes easier to use!!3 votes -

Photo template pages. Multiple sizes/quantities and page orientation. Click in box and add photo of correct size. With option for text.

Link notes with notes from other pages
There should be the capability of linking any note from one page with a note from another and being able to click on it and be redirected to the interrelated note .

Add Multiple Pages At Once
Option to add more than 1 page at a time. If you have a meeting or class you need to add pages 1 by 1 until you have the amount of pages you think you will use because if you do it during the activity you may miss something.

I would like to choose just one page from an existing notebook to export just this page into PDF

Blocktext, subscript, superscript.
For scientists, students and others it is almost necessary to add subscript and superscript for many formulars and equotations.
For my personal demand it‘ll be also awesome if you add blocktext to the text formatting settings :)

change order and move cards between sets
Hello, I use the study kit option a lot and there are some features that I would like you to include.
1° I would like to have the option of being able to change the order of the cards, when I am in thumbnail mode, in the same way, that I can modify the order of the pages in a notebook.
2nd I would like to be able to move cards individually or by selecting several from one set to another.
3rd In thumbnail mode I would like to see the names of the cards much larger, on the iPhone…

Slide build, as in PowerPoint/Keynote
Allow the creation of slides which "build", like PowerPoint's "appear" animation, without making multiple pages.
I am a university professor; my colleagues and I use GoodNotes heavily both for teaching and presenting our research at scientific conferences. One of the last advantages PowerPoint has over GoodNotes, for our use, is the slide animation feature, where objects on a single slide can be made to appear one at a time when the slides are presented. Enable better import of non-PDF items - Word documents with track changes.
Import and convert word documents with track changes to a PDF to take notes. Competing apps can do this. I'm a professional using this app to mark up changed documents sent by my team. These are exclusively word documents and being able to open them in GoodNotes on my iPad would be great.
